사회적 지지가 발달장애 유아 어머니의 심리적 안녕감과 양육 스트레스에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Social Support on the Parenting Stress and Psychological Well-being of Mothers with Developmentally Disabled Children

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to understand the effect of social support on psychological well-being and parenting stress or parents of the early child with developmental disability. 394 parents, who have younger than 7years old children with developmental disability and lives in Pusan and Gyungnam area, have been surveyed.
The result is as follow. 1. s the difference in social according to the socio-demographic variables has been analyzed it shows the difference in the degree of disability, education, religion, and economic status of children. Especially, the mother of early childhood with sever disability has low degree of social support even though they need more support. 2. Parents`negative attitude, which is the variable of parenting stress, correlated negatively with psychological well-being, which is the variable of social support and spousal and family problems correlated negatively with all the variables of social support and psychological well-being.
3. s the effect of social support on the psychological well-being of the mother of early child with developmental disability has been analyzed it shows that the degree of disability, gender, age of mother, religion and social support affect on it. Therefore, it is need that the meaningful social support should be prepared and increased and individual resource development and empowerment though parenting education, training, and counseling services to the mother of early child with development disability.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 사회적 지지가 발달장애를 가진 어린 자녀의 부모의 심리적 안녕감과 육아스트레스에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 부산과 경남지역에 거주하는 7세 미만의 발달장애유아를 가진 394명의 부모를 대상으로 조사했다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구사회적 변인에 따른 사회에서의 차이를 분석한 결과 유아의 장애 정도, 교육, 종교, 경제적 지위의 차이에 따른 차이점을 보여준다. 특히 분리장애를 가진 유아의 어머니는 더 많은 지원을 필요로 하는데도 불구하고 낮은 사회적 지지를 받았다. 둘째, 양육스트레스의 측정변인인 부모의 비관적 태도는 사회 지지의 변인, 심리적 안녕감의 변인과 부적상관을 가지고 있고, 부부와 가족 문제는 사회적 지지, 심리적 안녕감의 모든 측정변인과 부적상관을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 발달장애유아의 어머니의 심리적 안녕감에 대한 사회적 지지의 영향은 장애 정도, 성별, 어머니의 연령, 종교에 따라 사회적 지지가 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 의미 있는 사회적 지지를 마련, 확대시켜야 하고 발달장애유아 어머니에 대한 부모교육, 훈련, 상담 서비스를 통해 개인적 역량 개발과 능력강화가 필요하다.
