집단상담 숙련전문가의 발달 특성 분석 = Analysis of Developmental Characteristics of Skilled Expert in Group Counseling

This study has the purpose to analyze the developmental characteristics of skilled expert's expertise in group counseling. In this study, the skilled expert means professionalist corresponding to the stage before the group counseling master after the master's and doctor's courses which hasn't been researched in the developmental of the existing group counseling. The group counseling skilled experts as study participants of this study were selected by using the purposive sampling method. As for their concrete criteria for selection, first they practically experienced in group counseling for over 10 years and second, are still taking care of group counseling and third, are training control professional counselors of the Group Counseling Association or counselors who proceed with group counseling super vision and fourth, are counselors with counseling related certificates for over 5 years. The counselors in compliance with these criteria for selection were called group counseling skilled experts and finally 10 study participants were selected. For a consistent interview with the study participants, an interview schedules was prepared and twice individual interviews were performed and the interview data were analyzed by the grounded theory approach (Strauss & Corbin, 1998). As a results of categorization of the interview data through open cording, axial cording and selective cording, 53 notions, 31 sub-categories and 12 categories were deducted. In the analyzed result, the important subjects in the developmental characteristics of the group counseling skilled experts are as follows. They are selection of group counseling, recognition of group counseling as an important method to maintain expertise, conversion to deeper expertise, initial demand and demand of consistent expertise elevation, serious events which influenced the group counseling skilled experts / disappointment felt as a person and group counselor and its countermeasures, contribution to personal life, method for maturity, application of flexible theories and skills, change to an expert, professional characteristics and evaluation basis on the group counseling performance and etc.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 집단상담 숙련전문가의 전문성 발달 특성을 분석하는데 목표가 있다. 본 연구에서 숙련전문가는 기존의 집단상담 발달 연구에서 탐색되지 못한 대학원 석⋅박사 과정 이후부터 집단상담 대가 이전의 단계에 해당하는 전문가들을 의미한다. 연구 참여자인 집단상담 숙련전문가는 목적표집 방법으로 선정하였고, 이들의 선정 기준은 첫째, 집단상담 실무경험이 10년 이상, 둘째, 현재에도 집단상담을 진행하고 있는 상담자, 셋째, 집단상담학회 수련감독 전문상담사이거나 집단상담 수퍼비전을 진행하는 상담자, 넷째, 상담 관련 자격증을 소지한 지 5년 이상인 상담자였다. 이에 부합하는 상담자를 집단상담 숙련전문가로 명명하고 최종 10명의 연구 참여자를 선정하였다. 연구 참여자와의 일관된 면담을 위해 면담흐름표를 작성한 후 2차에 걸친 개별면담을 실시하였고, 면담 자료는 근거이론 접근 방식(Strauss & Cobin, 1998)으로 분석하였다. 개방코딩, 축코딩, 선택코딩을 통해 면담자료를 범주화한 결과, 53개의 개념, 31개의 하위범주, 12개의 범주가 도출되었다. 분석 결과 나타난 집단상담 숙련전문가의 발달 특성의 중요 주제는 다음과 같다. 집단상담의 선택, 집단상담을 전문성 유지를 위한 중요한 방식으로 인식, 더 깊은 전문성으로 전환, 초기 요구와 지속적인 전문성 고양의 요구, 집단상담 숙련전문가에 영향을 미친 중대 사건/ 사람, 집단상담자로서 느끼는 좌절과 대처 방법, 개인적 삶의 기여, 전문성을 유지, 성숙 시키는 방법, 융통성 있는 이론과 기법의 적용, 전문가로의 변화, 전문적 특성, 집단상담 성과에 대한 평가 근거 등이다.
