청소년의 자아 정체성, 불안/우울 및 강박증과 진로미결정:자기 통제력과 사회적 지원의 매개역할 = The Relationships Between Ego Identity, Anxiety/Depression and Obsession to Career Indecision in Adolescence:The Mediating Effect of Self-Control and Social Support

This study aims to investigate as to whether there is any relationship between career indecision in adolescents and psychological factors in adolescence. It also examines how psychosocial resources (eg. social support) and personal resources (eg. self-control) may mediate the relationship between career indecision and the above mentioned psychological factors. Using a sample of 600 high school students, this study found that ego identity had a greater effect on career indecision than anxiety/depression and obsession. Another important finding is that social support and self-control were found to play a role in mediating the relationship between anxiety/depression and career indecision. Finally, social support and self-control appeared to play a partial role in mediating the relationship between obsession and career indecision.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 자아정체성, 불안/우울, 강박증과 진로 미결정과의 관계를 알아보고 자아정체성, 불안/우울, 강박증과 진로 미결정과의 관계에서 심리사회적 자원인 사회적 지원과 개인적 자원인 자기 통제력이 매개변인의 역할을 하는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 목적으로 마산, 창원에 소재하고 있는 3개 고등학교 1, 2학년 18개 학급 600명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자아 정체성, 강박증 및 불안/우울 중에서 자아정체성이 진로미결정에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아정체성과 진로미결정간의 관계에서 사회적 지원과 자기 통제력이 매개변인의 역할을 하지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 불안/우울과 진로미결정간의 관계에서 사회적 지원과 자기 통제력이 매개변인 역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 강박증과 진로미결정간의 관계에서 사회적 지원과 자기 통제력이 매개변인 역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 청소년의 진로미결정 수준에 영향을 미치는 가장 핵심적인 요인이 자아정체성이며, 불안/우울 및 강박증 수준이 높은 청소년들은 사회적 지원을 적게 받고, 자기 통제력이 부족하여 진로 미결정 수준이 높아지는 심리적 기제를 발견하였다는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다.
