가족의 응집성과 적응성, 부모-자녀간 의사소통, 가족갈등과 청소년의 우울 및 비행 = Family Cohesion, Family Adaptability, Parent-Adolescent Communication, Family Conflict, and Adolescents' Depression & Delinquency

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of family cohesion, family adaptability and parent-adolescent communication, mediated by family conflict, on adolescents' depression and delinquency according to their gender types. For boys, family cohesion directly influenced on family conflict, and indirectly affected adolescents' depression and delinquency mediated by family conflict. Communication with father had an indirect effect on adolescents' depression and delinquency mediated by family conflict. For girls, communication with father had a direct effect on family conflict and an indirect effect on adolescents' depression and delinquency mediated by family conflict. It also directly influenced on adolescents' depression. Communication with mother made a direct impact on adolescents' depression and delinquency, and an indirect impact on adolescents' delinquency mediated by adolescents' depression. Both boys and girls, family conflict was a significant direct effect on adolescents' depression and delinquency, and indirectly affected on adolescents' delinquency mediated by depression. Adolescents' depression had the direct effect of their delinquency.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 문헌고찰을 통해 세워진 이론적 모델을 통해 가족 응집성과 적응성, 부모-자녀간 의사소통이 가족갈등과 어떻게 상호작용하여 청소년의 우울과 비행에 영향을 미치는가를 성에 따라 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 충청북도에 소재한 5개 고교에서 실시한 총 527명의 자료를 LISREL Ⅷ을 사용하여 경로분석을 시행하였다. 그 결과 가족 응집성과 적응성, 부모-자녀간 의사소통, 가족갈등이 청소년의 우울 및 비행에 미치는 경로가 성에 따라 차이가 있음을 보이고 있어 모델을 성에 따라 독립적으로 분석한 것에 대한 타당성을 보여주고 있다. 남학생의 경우에는 가족 응집성과 아버지와의 의사소통이 청소년의 우울과 비행을 증가시키는 중요한 요인이었으며, 여학생의 경우에는 아버지, 어머니와의 의사소통이 모두 우울과 비행을 증가시키는 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 또한 성과 상관없이 가족갈등이 청소년의 우울과 비행을 증가시키는데 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 가족갈등이 청소년의 우울과 비행에 중요한 변수임을 본 연구는 보여주고 있다.
