대학생 진로준비행동 척도 개발 및 타당화 = Development and Validation of the Career Preparation Behavior Scale for University Students

The purpose of this study was to develop a Career Preparation Behavior Scale for university students and to validate it. This study was involved three steps. First, 93 preliminary items were composed by theoretical literatures and traditional scale after the verification of the experts(7 counseling psychologists and 1 school teacher of Korean). Second, the preliminary scale consisting of 93 preliminary items was administered to the samples of 180 university students in Daegu and Kyungpook, and after revising the preliminary items based on item-scale correlation and factor extraction, the preliminary scale consisting of 92 preliminary items was administered again to the samples of 166 university students in Daegu and Kyungpook. Finally, the preliminary scale consisting of revised 38 items based on the factor analysis was administered to the samples of 548 university students in the whole country, and the scale consisting of 3 factors and 25 items was finally developed based on item-scale correlation and factor extraction. The first factor(10 items) was related with self-understanding behavior, the second(9 items) was related with job skill improvement behavior, and the last(6 items) was related with job world search behavior. The confirmatory factor analysis was performed to examine 3 factors, and it showed a good fit of the model. Internal consistency(Cronbach's α) of total score showed .912 and cronbach`s α of 3 subfactors demonstrated .831-.865. The result of this study indicated that the Career Preparation Behavior Scale positively and significantly correlated with the Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale, negatively and significantly correlated with the Korean Career Barrier Inventory. In addition, the limitation of study and the practical use was discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 대학생들을 대상으로 진로준비행동 정도를 객관적으로 측정하는 대학생 진로준비행동 척도를 개발하고, 척도의 요인구조 및 타당도와 신뢰도를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 선행연구와 기존 척도를 고찰하여 진로준비행동의 개념을 확립하고, 대학생을 대상으로 한 개방형 질문지와 면담 내용을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 1차 예비문항을 작성한 후 상담심리전문가 7명, 국어교사 1명에게 문항내용 및 표현의 적절성 등에 대한 내용타당도를 검증받아 93문항의 1차 예비문항을 구성하였다. 93문항의 1차 예비문항을 토대로 대구․경북지역 대학생 180명에게 예비조사를 실시하고 문항내용 및 표현을 수정한 92문항을 대구․경북지역 대학생 166명을 대상으로 2차 예비조사를 실시하였다. 이들 문항에 대해 요인분석을 한 후, 38문항으로 구성된 예비척도를 제작하였다. 38문항의 예비척도에 대해 전국지역에 있는 대학생 548명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 요인분석 등의 방법을 통해 최종적으로 3요인 25문항의 척도를 개발하였다. 요인 1은 자기이해행동(10문항), 요인 2는 직업능력향상행동(9문항), 요인 3은 직업세계탐색행동(6문항)으로 명명하였다. 진로준비행동 척도 전체에 대한 Cronbach의 α 계수는 .912고, 요인 1은 .865, 요인 2는 .831, 요인 3은 .855로 나타났다. 개발된 척도의 타당도 검증을 위해 진로준비행동 척도와 진로결정자기효능감 척도, 진로탐색장애 척도간의 상관을 알아보았다. 진로준비행동 척도와 진로결정자기효능감 척도와의 적률상관계수는 .673으로 .01 수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관을 보였으며, 진로준비행동 척도와 진로탐색장애 척도와의 적률상관계수는 -.209로 .01 수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 부적 상관을 보임으로써 수렴타당도 및 변별타당도가 양호한 것으로 검증되었다. 또한 4주 간격의 검사-재검사 신뢰도(.794)와 반분 신뢰도(.841)에서 비교적 높은 신뢰도를 나타내었다. 이로써 본 연구에서 개발한 척도의 활용방안 및 연구의 제한점과 추후 연구 과제를 논의하였다.
