자기통제력 검사 도구의 타당화 연구 = A cross-cultural validation study of SCRS (Self-Control Rating Scale)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to determine whether or not the SCRS (Self-Control Rating Scale) of Kendall and Wilcox (1979) is appropriate for measuring the self-control or self-regulation of Korean children. Two instruments, the SCRS and Self-Control Evaluation Tool (Kim, Hwa Ja, 2008) were administered to 157 children from 13 classes in state/public kindergartens in Chungcheongbuk-do and Geyonggi-do. The data collected was statistically processed by using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The results suggest that the concept of self-control in the SCRS deals specifically with cognitive-behavioral aspects and it proves to be a valid instrument to assess those aspects of self-control in Korean kindergarteners.
