또래 협력활동에서 유아의 지능과 사회적 기술에 따른 쌍 집단구성별 스캐폴딩 효과와 과제 수행력 = The effects of dyad group composition paired by children`s intelligence and social skill on scaffolding types and task performance in peer collaboration

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analyze relationships between scaffolding and task performances. This study was also aimed to investigate whether children`s scaffolding types would differ among three dyad groups when children are paired in different combinations that consider both intelligence and social skill. Subjects for this study were 72 children of age 5. Children were assigned to three dyad groups based on their intelligence and social skill: (1) children with high levels of intelligence and social skill working with a partner of low levels of intelligence and social skill, (2) children with high level of intelligence but low level of social skill working with a partner of low levels of both intelligence and social skill, and (3) children with low level of intelligence but a high level of social skill working with a partner of low levels of both intelligence and social skill. All children individually accomplished a pre- and post-test comprising of a classification task and perspective taking ability ask. To describe children`s scaffolding, children`s verbal interactions from video recordings were transcribed and categorized by Lee and Park(2008)`s criteria. Research findings for this study were as follows: First, there were no significant correlations between the classification task and scaffolding. However, in the perspective taking ability task, a positive correlation was observed. Second, there were significant differences among the dyad groups on scaffolding types.
