김백봉 아카이브 구축을 위한 기초연구 = A Basic Study on Establishment of Kim Paik-Bong Archive

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study on establishment of Kim Paik-Bong` Archive illuminated the life and art world of dancer Kim Paik-Bong, who had made great contributions to the development of Korean dance since the Liberation, from the viewpoint of archival science based on dance-related materials. This study is expected to be a milestone in evaluating dancer Kim Paik-Bong`s achievements in dance history and establishing the classification system of Kim Paik-Bong`s achieve and furthermore to contribute to the development of dance archival science. This study made discussions largely on the archive of performing arts ant on dancer Kim Paik-Bong. We discussed the current state and identify characteristics of Kim Paik-Bong` archive, which is the core theme of this study. In addition, for the theoretical inquiry in archive from a generic viewpoint and then discussed the characteristics importance dance archive. What is more, we survyed the current state of archives in Korea and investigated and analyzed tasks necessary to build a dance archive. Lastly, we discussed the current state and characteristic of Kim Paik-Bong` archive. This study is to prepare ideal grounds for the classification of dancer Kim Paik-Bong` materials and the systematic collection and preservation of the materials based on the generic classification method of archival science.
