      • E. Fromm의 人道主義的 倫理에 對한 小考

田英培 培林大學校 1981 論文集 Vol.2 No.-

As a humanistic sociologist, E.Fromm(1900-1980) re-annalysed modern problems on the basis of two great western ideas-S.Freud's psychopathology and K.Marx's sociology. He played a leading role in diagnosing modern social idiosyncracies and humanistic circumstances from his own peculiar scholarly viewpoint. In his book 'Man for Himself' he advocated humanistic ethics in particular and suggested re-humanization of lost generation through authoritarian ethics. His is the proposition that the objectives of a real ethics be not a repression of humanity but be a creative production of potentialities. Taught under Freud, contrary to the Freudian theory, he was firmly convinced of human goodness and maintained the development of human potentialities. For this accomplishment, art of love is bound to be developed and continue to be put into practice for humanistic improvements. The process of attainment, in his theory, should be ragarded as good, and the opposite, as being equal to a theological sin. He is one of the Helenistic scholars who put emphasis on human inclination in the history of western thoughts. Not only as a mere successor to the Freudien school but also as a soliologist he recommended that society should be re-organized for the purpose of developing humanism. His suggestion is that achievement of social reform should be, not by primitive violence, but by rational love equipped with spontaneity and integrity, and that a social reformation should be a peaceful performance by active popular participation. For realization of these goals, individuals, consciously getting out of deep-rooted state of receptive, exploitative, hoarding, marketing orietation, should seek to be a productive thinker. It is his emphasis that such concrete goals should stem, not from egoism, but from a real self-seeking self-love and self interest. And his is the idea that reaching his maturity man can free himself from alienation in any form and recall to himself. His religion was humanistic. Implying on one hand that all religous purposes are to realize an essence of man behind reliegous formalities, Erich Fromm, on the other hand, proposed that to get rid of an Oedipus Complex faith, man must pursue a man-for-himself credo. However, his thoughts on humanism are considered in his dialectical unfoldings. His books and his ideas in socio-psycholocial field are well known to Korean scholars and students but in the ethical aspect, very few except studies on freedom and alienation. No other books are, for my observation and study in this field, as valuable and worthy as this small book Man for Himself. It is sincerely hoped that my study will be adding a small portion to further study in this field and as a stepping stone, of some help to those interested in human alienation and freedom.

      • 소매의 型紙製作을 위한 基礎硏究

孫喜順 培林大學校 1981 論文集 Vol.2 No.-

Sleeves are remarkably of importance in the construction of the clothing itself for they are not separately designed, but they should be designed in the best harmony of the bodice and in the beg unity of the costume in general. Three basic elements mentioned below, ought to be sufficiently considered in the pattern-making, so that we can make the sleeves of good function and beauty. 1) Close examination into the human body. 2) Accurate measurement of the human body. 3) Special regard to the very influence of the daily-activities upon the shapes of the costume. Above all, we should spread out the cubic effect of the human body into the ichnography, since the construction of the costume idue to be changed from a plain figure into the cubic one, well-fitted to the human body. And so, it is natural that we should have the closest examination and the most accurate measurement of the body. Now that our arms look in appearance like a round cylindar attached to the bodice, we are apt to wrongly consider the sleeves as to be easily made in the simple shape of cylindar. Our arms, however, have great variety of active functions, using shoulders and elbows all together. And, therefore, it is very important, in the pattern-making of the sleeves, to have the moderate margin left for no interference on the activities of the arms. The armhole, the linking part of the bodice and shoulder, should be specially taken into the best consideration of its function, for it is easily apt to lose its shape. In other word, it sometimes pulls and it is, sometimes, getting wrinkled on the upper part of the sleeves. There are some important points to be duly considered-the extent of the activitity, the flexibility of the cloth, the silhouette of the clothing, the number of the clothing put on together, the kind of costume, as well as the functional problems of the costumes. When we pay our best attention to the elements, mentioned above, we can be greatly successful in the patterm-making of the various kinds of sleeves.

      • 織物의 汚染性 및 洗濯效率에 관한 硏究

金炳美 培林大學校 1975 論文集 Vol.1 No.-

It was the aim of this thesis to find out the difference of the soiling properties in the fiber types fabric constructions and by wearer trials and laboratory tests. Cotton, rayons and synthetic fibers were used as the test specimens of this test in the fiber types, and fabric density, thickness and weaving form were studied in the side of fabric constructions. The surface reflectances of the original, soiled, and washed specimens were measured to calculate the soil-content of soiled specimens and washing efficiency of washed specimens by following equations. R? - R? soil-content(%)= ----------- × 100 R? R? - R? washing efficiency(%) = -------------- × 100 R? - R? R?, Original reflectance R?, Reflectance of after soiling R?, Reflectance of after washing The conclusions of experiment were as the followings. 1. Soil content was different according to the soiling process. 2. In the air, the soil content of hydrophobic fibers was high. 3. In the case of soiling by the rubbing to the skin, the soil content of hydrophilic fibers was high. 4. The thin, dense and smooth fabrics showed low soiling content. 5. The washing efficiency was high in the case of low soiling content. 6. The washing efficiency of the hydrophobic fibers was high, but somewhat low in the case of deep penetrating soiling. 7. The washing efficiency of thin and coarse fabrics was high.

      • 小說의 象徵性에 관한 硏究 : Chiefly through the Works of Choi, In Hoon 崔仁勳의 作品을 中心으로

宋夏燮 培林大學校 1981 論文集 Vol.2 No.-

Problems on "symbol" have generally been examined in poetry. However, in novels, too, various symbols can be found, if closely examined, in its words, in its subject matters, and in its story itself. Besides, all of these often play important symbolic roles in the novel. Choi's novels, some reports on his novels, his own essays on literature are all closely researched in this thesis with a view to reviewing the specific symbols in his novels. Choi is best known as a writer of "internal symbolic expression," as well as his best attention is always concentrated on the "word itself. Vacant Lot(Kwangjang), his greatest masterpiece, which has been attempted to rewrite, is symbolic not only in its words but also in the sea-gull, the subject matter in the novel. The scene of the hero's suicide is also described so symbolic that it can be considered as to change the very theme. His symbolic feature of expression should be thought of as to be based on his theoretical view on language and reality. He assures that "language is taste and image", and that "novel should be remarkably realistic but negate the reality." The more symbolic a novel is, in one opinion, the greater impression it can give us. The symbol is greatly related with the very reason why a novel has more eternal beauty than an article for journal. Symbols in novels will have to be further studied by writers as well as literary critics.

鄭聖奎 培林大學校 1975 論文集 Vol.1 No.-

Creative Dramatics is a rapidly growing field in pre school, elementary, and junior high education in the United States, Its technique and method are also being used at an increasing rate throughout the world. Although the nature of creative dramatics is native to the human spirit its use as a group method has only recently come into it sown. At the moment crative dramatics is being taught in elementary schools in large cities and is being used more frequently in children's work in the church. Most of the drama departments in large universities include a major in creative dramatics in America. Creative drama is informal spontaneous drama created by the players themselves. It is planned and played by the group under the guidance, not direction, of a competent, flexible leader. It differs from the production of a formal play in several ways, First, the emphasis is on the player not the product. It is the process through which the players progress that is important rather than the production. Second, there is no set script dialogue and action grows out of an idea, a poem or a story presented to the group. Third, there is no need for a stage, scenery props or costumes. the necessary requirments are few a group of a children, a space large enough to allow for free movement of players. a qualified leader and an idea from which to create. Using all the aspects of dramatic art, pantomime, movement, improvisation, characterization and improvised dialogue, a personal experience in living drama may result. Creative Dramatics in Education. Children go to school to grow rind to learn so they may live happily as citizens in a democratic society. We have considered specific ways in which creative dramatics contributed to child growth rind development. We have recognized ways in which John Dewey's accepted principle of learning by doing is put into action. We have been aware of pupil planning, pupil participation, and pupil evaluation in each creative experience. As we continue we will recognize further ways in which creative dramatics affects learning and meets educational needs of children, Four fundamental educational principles that creative dramatics constantly emphasizes will be observed. (1) It provides for self realization in unified learning experiences (2) It offers firsthand experiences in democratic behavior. (3) It provides for functional learning which is related to living (4) It contributes to learning which is comprehensive in scope. Creative imagination It's sparks and flares and flashes of independent thinking It's creative imaginations symbolize the birthright that comes into the world with every child. It is as mysterious and ,is wonderful as a Child's heartbeat. It is powerful for it springs from a rhythmic source. It is delicate for it roots in sensitivity. It is original because it originates from within in some unexplainable way a child has a flash of vision. He seeks fulfillment. In a free. inspired way imagination takes form. with almost divine confidence, expression is born. All children are creators. They paint, draw, speak, write, sing, and dance with joyous abandonment. Planning Creative Dramatics. Step 1. Setting the mood or motivation Step 2. Telling the story. Step 3. Discussion. Step 4. Planning to play, Step 5. Playing. Step 6. Evaluation,
