As the first series of the systematic survey on the Korean Pipunculidae, a new genus encompassing 4 new species from North Korea is descirbed here. the follwing new taxa are proposed: Moriparia gen. nov., M. alata sp. nov., M. amica sp. nov., M. spinosa sp. nov., and M. nigripennis sp. nov.

The goal of this research is to provide a novel conceptual base for ternary hybridity nanofluids that will improve heat transmission. This model illustrates how to produce heat conduction that is superior to the hybridity nanofluid. The ternary hybridity nanofluid is made by suspending three distinct kinds of nanostructures (TiO2, Al2O3, and SiO2) in ethylene glycol with varying physical and chemical linkages. The combination of these nanoparticles aids in the decomposition of hazardous compounds, environment cleansing, and the cooling of other equipment. This article describes the ternary hybrid nanofluids such as the conductivity of thermal and electrical, specific heat capacitance, viscosity, and density. The ordinary differential equations for the liquid and temperature are solved utilizing the Keller box method (KBM). The main finding discovered that the tri-hybrid nanofluid transferred more heat compared to the hybrid nanofluid. The velocity and temperature field diminishes for these ranges of parameters: 0≤γ≤2 (velocity slipγ ) and 0≤γ1≤2 (temperature slip γ1). The Darcy–Forchheimer Fr ranges between 0.5≤Fr≤1.4 diminishes the fluid velocity. The fluid moving subjected to a rotating cone has various applications in engineering like cone clutch, steam generators, loudspeaker cooling, lubricating grease for seals, hydrology, geosciences, etc.

<P>Using first principles density functional theory, we investigate the structural, electronic and magnetic properties of isolated and bundled Mo6S9 − <I>x</I>I<I>x</I> nanowires with <I>x</I> = 3, 4.5, and 6. The unit cell of each system contains two Mo6 octahedra decorated with S and I atoms and two S3 linkages. Due to the bistability of each sulfur linkage, finite-length nanowires or nanowire bundles exhibit many stable structural minima. We explore the structural stability, elastic behavior and electronic structure at all these minima for each composition <I>x</I>. We find that the axial strain and inter-wire interaction in bundles significantly modify the electronic structure. The most intriguing changes occur in nanowires with <I>x</I> = 4.5 and 6, which change from metal to semiconductor or undergo a magnetic transition upon axially stretching or compressing the nanowires or upon changing the inter-wire separation. </P>

<P>We use <I>ab initio</I> density functional calculations to study the stability, elastic properties and electronic structure of sp2 carbon minimal surfaces with negative Gaussian curvature, called schwarzites. We focus on two systems with cubic unit cells containing 152 and 200 carbon atoms, which are metallic and very rigid. The porous schwarzite structure allows for efficient and reversible doping by electron donors and acceptors, making it a promising candidate for the next generation of alkali ion batteries. We identify schwarzite structures that act as arrays of interconnected spin quantum dots or become magnetic when doped. We introduce two interpenetrating schwarzite structures that may find their use as the ultimate super-capacitor. </P>

<P>Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) oscillatory processes in different plasma systems, such as the corona of the Sun and the Earth's magnetosphere, show interesting similarities and differences, which so far received little attention and remain under-exploited. The successful commissioning within the past ten years of THEMIS, Hinode, STEREO and SDO spacecraft, in combination with matured analysis of data from earlier spacecraft (Wind, SOHO, ACE, Cluster, TRACE and RHESSI) makes it very timely to survey the breadth of observations giving evidence for MHD oscillatory processes in solar and space plasmas, and state-of-the-art theoretical modelling. The paper reviews several important topics, such as Alfv, nic resonances and mode conversion; MHD waveguides, such as the magnetotail, coronal loops, coronal streamers; mechanisms for periodicities produced in energy releases during substorms and solar flares, possibility of Alfv, nic resonators along open field lines; possible drivers of MHD waves; diagnostics of plasmas with MHD waves; interaction of MHD waves with partly-ionised boundaries (ionosphere and chromosphere). The review is mainly oriented to specialists in magnetospheric physics and solar physics, but not familiar with specifics of the adjacent research fields.</P>
