We consider the extended generalized Hecke groups $\overline{H}_{3,q}$ generated by $X(z)=-(z-1)^{-1}$, $Y(z)=-(z+\lambda _{q})^{-1}$ with $\lambda _{q}=2\cos (\frac{\pi }{q})$ where $q\geq 3$ an integer.\ In this work, we study the generalized Pell sequences in $\overline{H}_{3,q}.$ Also, we show that the entries of the matrix representation of each element in the extended generalized Hecke Group $\overline{H}_{3,3}$ can be written by using Pell, Pell-Lucas and modified-Pell numbers.
Relationships between cusp points in the extended modular group and Fibonacci numbers
¨Ozden Koruo˘glu,Sule Kaymak Sarica,Bilal Demir,A. Furkan Kaymak 호남수학회 2019 호남수학학술지 Vol.41 No.3
Cusp (parabolic) points in the extended modular group $\overline{\Gamma}$ are basically the images of infinity under the group elements. This implies that the cusp points of $\overline{\Gamma}$ are just rational numbers and the set of cusp points is $Q_{\infty}=Q\cup\left\{ \infty\right\} .$The Farey graph $F$ is the graph whose set of vertices is $Q_{\infty}$ and whose edges join each pair of Farey neighbours. Each rational number $x$ has an integer continued fraction expansion (ICF) $x=[b_{1},...,b_{n}].$ We get a path from $\infty$ to $x$ in $F$ as \TEXTsymbol{<}$\infty,C_{1},...,C_{n}>$ for each ICF. In this study, we investigate relationships between Fibonacci numbers, Farey graph, extended modular group and ICF. Also, we give a computer program that computes the geodesics, block forms and matrix represantations.
ON SOME RELATIONSHIPS OF OTMOs OVER IFSs
GÄOKHAN C»UVALCIO¸GLU,SINEM YILMAZ 장전수학회 2010 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.20 No.4
It was represented in [10] that the modal operators over IFSs are constitute a diagram. In [12] this diagram was expanded with the op-erator Zω,α,β. Recently, almost thirty modal operators over IFSs were de¯ned and relationships among these operators were investigated by several authors ([4],[7],[11], etc.). In this paper we studied some relatiomships among one type modal oper-ators (OTMOs) over IFSs. Our purpose is study to whether one type modal operators have same characteristical properties or not.
Treatment of Symptomatic Focal Hepatic Hemangioma with Propranolol in Neonates: Is It Efficient?
Jana Lozar Krivec,Nina Lah,Mojca Glušič,Orjana Velikonja,Darja Paro-Panjan 대한소아소화기영양학회 2023 Pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology & nutrition Vol.26 No.1
Hepatic hemangiomas (HH) – classified into congenital hepatic hemangiomas (CHH) or infantile hepatic hemangiomas (IHH) – are benign vascular tumors that are mainly asymptomatic, but may cause clinical problems that require treatment. While focal, multifocal, and diffuse IHH are responsive to propranolol treatment, CHH is mainly focal and thought to be resistant to treatment with propranolol. The clinical and imaging distinctions between CHH and IHH in cases of focal lesions can be challenging, while histopathological distinction is mostly lacking in the clinical setting. We report 4 neonatal symptomatic cases of focal HH treated with propranolol, with partial or complete resolution of the tumor, and the positive hemodynamic effect of propranolol in one case. We believe that although clear differentiation cannot be achieved between CHH and IHH without histopathological examination in cases of focal HH in neonates, propranolol treatment should be attempted in symptomatic cases since its benefits outweigh the possible small risk of side effects of propranolol.
Effect of Intergranular Phase Segregation on Magnetic Properties of NdFeB Magnet
Gülten Sadullaho glu,Baki Altuncevahir,A. Okan Addemir 대한금속·재료학회 2014 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.10 No.1
The hot deformed magnets were produced by hot-pressing of the as-cast ingots of Nd18Tb1Fe68Co5B8, Nd18Tb1Fe66.5Co5B8Cu1.5 and Nd18Tb1Fe66.5Co5B8Al0.75Cu0.75 alloys. The individual Cu addition decreased the melting temperature of the intergranular region phase from 606.5°C to 504.3°C leading to better wetting behaviour and easy rotation of magnetic grains during the hot deformation process and resulted in good magnetic properties. However, with Al addition, the intergranular composition was segregated into two phases and the Nd(Fe,Co,Al)2 phase was formed in addition to the Nd-rich phase at the interphase between grains during the hot deformation process. For this sample, grain alignment was poor and Hc, Br and (BH)max are 5.73 kOe, 5.75 kG and 9.94 MGOe respectively. The highest remanence and energy product are 7.25 kG and 13.65 MGOe respectively for the individual Cu added sample. It is suggested that the decrease in melting temperature of the intergranular phase leads to a better wetting behaviour to penetrate homogenously into the holes during hot deformation which resulted in the high density and the improvement of the magnetic properties.

This study was planned to evaluate the effectiveness of acupuncture treatment for the treatment Bell’s palsy sequelae. In this study, forty patients with Bell’s palsy sequelae were randomly allocated to either the acupuncture or the control group. The clinical outcomes before and after treatment were assessed using the following assays: the facial nerve compound motor action potential and HouseeBrackmann (HB) and Sunnybrook (SB) grading scales. Agreement analysis was performed between the SB and HB grading scales. There was significant difference between pretreatment and posttreatment compound motor action potential values of the patients within the acupuncture group (p Z 0.036). In pretreatment and posttreatment SB and HB scores, significant differences within the two groups were observed. However, the significance level in the improvement rate in the acupuncture group was higher than that of the control group. General agreement between the SB and HB scores of groups was an acceptable value, and weighted agreement between the scales was a moderate agreement. In this study, we found that acupuncture treatment is effective in improving Bell’s palsy sequelae. Acupuncture can be used as a safe method in the treatment of Bell’s palsy sequelae.

Purpose: To compare different radiographic methods for assessing endodontically treated teeth. Materials and Methods: Root canal treatments were applied in 120 extracted mandibular teeth, which were divided into four groups: (1) ideal root canal treatment (60 teeth), (2) insufficient lateral condensation (20 teeth), (3) root canals filled short of the apex (20 teeth), (4) overfilled root canal treatment (20 teeth). The teeth were imaged using intraoral film, panoramic film, digital intraoral systems (CCD and PSP), CCD obtained with portable X-ray source, digital panoramic, and CBCT images obtained at 0.3 mm3 and 0.2 mm3 voxel size. Images were evaluated separately by three observers, twice. Kappa coefficients were calculated. The percentage of correct readings obtained from each modality was calculated and compared using a t-test (p⁄0.05). Results: The intra-observer kappa for each observer ranged between 0.327 and 0.849. The inter-observer kappa for each observer for both readings ranged between 0.312 and 0.749. For the ideal root canal treatment group, CBCT with 0.2 mm3 voxel images revealed the best results. For insufficient lateral condensation, the best readings were found with periapical film followed by CCD and PSP. The assessment of teeth with root canals filled short of the apex showed the highest percentage of correct readings by CBCT and CCD. For the overfilled canal treatment group, PSP images and conventional periapical film radiographs had the best scores. Conclusion: CBCT was found to be successful in the assessment of teeth with ideal root canal treatment and teeth with canals filled short of the apex.
Selective molecularly imprinted polymer for the analysis of chlorpyrifos in water samples
Oya Aydın Urucu,Aslı Beyler Çi gil,Hatice Birtane,Ece Kök Yetimo glu,Memet Vezir Kahraman 한국공업화학회 2020 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.87 No.-
In this paper, a new molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction (MISPE) method was described for thedetermination of the chlorpyrifos in water samples. A thiol-ene based UV-cured polymer was preparedby mixing glyoxal bis (-diallyl acetal), pentaerythritol tetrakis (3-mercaptopropionate), polyethyleneglycol diacrylate (PEGDA), and photoinitiator. Chlorpyrifos was added to the prepared polymer as atemplate analyte, and its analysis was performed by gas chromatography with mass detection (GC–MS). The influence of some analytical parameters was studied. We found that the use of the molecularlyimprinted polymer (MIP) UV-cured disc provides an easy, selective, and available solution for removingchlorpyrifos from water samples.
The isomorphism between two fundamental groups by Cayley graphs
˙I. Naci Cang¨ul,A. Sinan C¸ evik,¨Ozden Koruo˘glu 장전수학회 2008 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.17 No.1
LetG1 and G2 be two nite groups and letCay(G1,S1) and Cay(G2,S2) be the corresponding Cayley graphs of these groups, respectively. By [2] and [8], one can dene the fundamental groupπ1(Γ,v) by using any connected graph Γ with a fixed vertex v. In this paper we give sufficient conditions for any two fundamental groups which are obtained by Cayley graphs Cay(G1,S1) and Cay(G2,S2) to be isomorphic. At the final part of the paper, we present some examples of this result.
