        Torque Ripple Suppression for Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor based on Enhanced LADRC Strategy

        Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor has shown advanced performance in the industry, but its smooth operation is aff ected by torque ripple. The conventional Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Controller (LADRC) has a strong anti-interference ability. However, this usually makes it more sensitive to measurement noise, reducing steady-state accuracy. This study proposes an Enhanced LADRC controller to obtain strong system disturbance and noise suppression performance. Firstly, the total disturbance diff erential signal is introduced into the Linear Extended State Observer to improve the anti-disturbance ability of the system, and the bandwidth parameter confi guration method is used to reduce the number of parameters be adjusted in the controller to two. Second, A Fal-Filter is built through the nonlinear function and inserted into the controller to weaken the measurement noise. Finally, the simulation model is established on the dSPACE motor control platform, and the corresponding control algorithm is implemented. Simulation and experimental results show that the control scheme can signifi cantly improve the phase current distortion and reduce torque ripple.

        Bayesian algorithm based on auxiliary variables for estimating item response theory models with non-ignorable missing response data

        Missing responses generally exist in educational and psychological assessments. The statistical inference will lead to serious deviation if the missing responses are not properly modeled in the framework of non-ignorable missing mechanism. In this current study, it is studied whether the different missing mechanism (ignorable missing and non-ignorable missing) models are appropriate to analyze the missing response data from the perspective of parameter estimation and model assessment. In addition, a highly effective Bayesian sampling algorithm based on auxiliary variables is used to estimate the complex models. Compared with the traditional marginal likelihood method and other Bayesian algorithms, the advantages of the new algorithm are discussed in detail. Based on the Markov Chain Monte carlo samples from the posterior distributions, the deviance information criterion (DIC) and the logarithm of the pseudomarignal likelihood (LPML) are employed to compare the different missing mechanism models. Four simulation studies are conducted and a detailed analysis of PISA science data is carried out to further illustrate the proposed methodology.

        Linear active disturbance rejection speed control with variable gain load torque sliding mode observer for IPMSMs

        A Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control (LADRC) method with a Variable Gain Load Torque Sliding Mode Observer (VLTSMO) is proposed in this paper to reduce the effects of the load torque disturbance of Interior Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motors (IPMSMs). First, the LADRC is used as a speed loop controller, and the linear extended state observer (LESO) is used to observe the total disturbance. Then the stability of the controller is analyzed. Second, the VLTSMO is proposed, which can output a feedforward compensation signal to improve the observation capability of the observer. In addition, after comparing several standard switching functions, the continuous switching function is selected to reduce the chattering phenomenon. Finally, a 5.5 kW IPMSM is taken as the research object. A simulation model and the dSPACE motor control platform are used to realize the algorithm. Both simulation and experimental results show that the VLTSMO has excellent observation capabilities. They also show that the LADRC + VLTSMO method can effectively improve the dynamic performance and robustness of the speed control system.

        Reliability Assessment of Distribution Network Considering Mobile Energy Storage Vehicles and Dynamic Zonal Coupling

        Mobile energy storage spatially and temporally transports electric energy and has fexible dispatching, and it has the potential to improve the reliability of distribution networks. In this paper, we studied the reliability assessment of the distribution network with power exchange from mobile energy storage units, considering the coupling diferences among diferent time and zones of the vehicle–road–network system. First, we constructed a basic mobile energy storage operation framework that supports the distribution network reliability. Next, we proposed a quantitative model to describe the dynamic zonal coupled vehicle–road–network system. Based on this model, the corresponding charging and discharging scheduling strategies for diferent mobile energy storage units are well designed to improve the efciency of power support. Then, we provided a distribution network reliability assessment algorithm handling the power exchange from mobile energy storage units. Finally, we used the IEEE 33-node example system to clarify the necessity of the vehicle–road–network model in accounting for dynamic zonal coupling. We also analyzed the impact of diferent characteristics of mobile energy storage on the reliability of the distribution network, and verifed that one can improve the distribution network reliability by increasing the response speed, power capacity, or charging/discharging power of mobile energy storage vehicles.

        Preliminary Report on the Breeding of Robust and Resistant-NPV and High Quality Silkworm Race 'Shengming No.1' for Summer-autumn Rearing

        Seveval Chinese and Japanese varieties with good characters were used in the breeding. After 5 years (15 generations), a pair of robust and high quality silkworm variety with NPV resistance was bred by means of a combination of crossing and pedigree selection complemented by the selection of NPV resistance. The variety was identified jointly nationwide in 2003 and 2004, and appraised by National Mulberry and Silkworm Appraising Committee. Results are as follows: its cocooning rate is over 93%, shell rate 23-25%, filament length 1200-1300 meters, reelability 75-88%, Length of non-broken cocoon filament 900-1100 meters, raw silk rate 17-19%, neatness 95-97 points, and cocoon crop, cocoon shell weight and raw silk weight per 10000 larvae is higher than those of the control variety by 7-10%, 14-19% and 14-18%, respectively. The variety is not only robust, resistant to high temperature and NPV, easy to rear, uniform in hatching, molting and maturing, but also lays more eggs, and its fecundity is high. It is suitable to rear in the Yangtze River Basin, the Yellow River basin and the Pearl River basin of China.
