      • 여주(Momordica charantia L.)의 量的形質에 대한 遺傳分析 : 種子 및 子房關聯形質들의 遺傳分析

        여주의 果重을 目標로 早期에 選擇할 수 있는 效果的인 方法을 檢討키 위하여 果實特性面에서 相異한 4個育成系統을 材料로 이들을 二面交雜하여 兩親과 F1組合들을 pot에 심어 溫室內에 栽値하여 相觀및 遺傳分析을 試圖하였다. 相觀分析에서 調査된 形質은 子房長등 15個 形質이었고, 이중 種子 및 子房關聯形質인 種子길이, 種子幅,種子重,種子數,子房長,種子幅,種子重,果梗長, 8個形質에 대해서는 二面交雜分析을 하였다. 收量과 相關이 매우 높은 形質들은 果長, 果重, 子房長, 果梗長(花梗長), 種子幅등 이었으며, 이들 形質들은 相互間에도 높은 相關이 있었다. 種子數를 除外한 大部分의 形質들이 遺傳子의 優性 果보다 相加的效果가 컸으며, 特히 子房長과 果梗長, ,種子幅은 매우 높은 相加的遺傳子作用에 의해 支配되, 遺傳力도 매우 높았다. With a purpose to increase the effect of selection in bitter gourd(Momordica charantia L.), four inbred lines were crossed each other for a diallel cross set, and grown in the green house. The characters investigated were fruit length, fruit width, fruit weight, number of fruits, thickness of fruit flesh, days to maturity (from flowering) seed length, and yield. Correlation coefficient analysis revealed that six characters, i.e., fruit weight, fruit length, ovary length, peduncle length, seed width, and yield showed highly positive correaltions each other. Among 15 characters, eight characters, such as ovary length, ovary width, ovary weight, seed length, seed width, seed weight, number of seeds, and peduncle length, showed partial dominance in Vr-Wr graphical analysis, but they showed different degree of dominance. Overy length, seed length, seed width, and seed weight were controlled by additive rather than dominant effect of genes, and they had very high heritabilities in both broad and narrow sense, while in ovary weight, ovary width, and peduncle length, additive effect of genes was similar to dominant effect. Number of seed per fruit was governed by dominant rather than additive effect of genes. Heritabilities(h²n) in the narrow sense were low or moderate for number of seed, ovary width, and ovary weight, and that of peduncle length was high.

        고랭지 성토지 감자-호맥 작부체계하의 토양개량이 감자 생육에 미치는 영향

        고랭지에서 척박한 모재토를 성토한 포장에서 감자를 재배한 후 후작으로 호밀을 재배하는 작부체계 하에서 대조구, 화학성개량구, 제오라이트구 등 3개 처리를 두고 감자 파종 전 성장하고 있는 호밀을 경운, 매몰하여 감자를 1999년부터 2년간 재배하면서 몇 가지 토양개량 처리한 것을 조사 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 성토재료용 모재토는 양질사토로서 유기물과 인산함량 등 이화학성이 매우 낮은 척박토이었다. 2. 감자의 지상부 생육은 대조구에 비하여 제오라이트구와 화학성개량구가 좋았으며 감자수량도 2.1~4.5% 증수되었다. 3. 감자 수확 후 토양이화학성은 시험 전에 비해 점차 증가하였으며 호맥재배로 토양 유기물과 인산함량 증가가 컸다. 4. 호맥은 감자 파종 1주일 전에 경운, 매몰하였으며 그 효과는 토양 중 유기물함량 0.5~3.5g/㎏정도 지력 증진효과가 있었다. This study was conducted to investigate the changes of crop growth and soil properties under potato-rye cropping system in highland mounding-soil. Experimental plots were designed with control, chemical improvement and zeolite+chemical improvement plot during 1999 to 2000year. Mounding-soil were low in the contents of soil chemical properties that organic matter contents etc., and that soil texture was loamy sand soil. The growth and yield of potato in the chemical improvement and zeolite plots were higher than that of control plot by 2.1~4.5%. After harvesting, the contents of soil chemical properties increased than those of experiment before. Increasing ratios of soil organic matter and phosphate contents were higher than other soil properties by rye cultivation. Rye residues were buried and tilled before potato planting at 1 week. Rye residues burying deep under the ground increased by 0.5~3.5g/㎏ to soil organic matter contents.

        당근 根重에 관련된 主要 形質들의 經路係數 分析

        우수한 당근 품종육성을 위한 기초자료를 얻고자, 육성 계통들 중에서 선발된 재료를 사용하여 어떤 형질이 根重에 크게 영향하는가를 확인코자 하였다. 2년에 걸쳐 봄, 가을 재배작형에 대해 시험한 결과를 상관 및 경로계수 분석을 통하여 根重에 미치는 여러 형질의 직ㆍ간접효과를 조사한 바, 봄, 가을, 재배 년도의 구분 없이 葉重과 全重의 직접효과가 매우 컸고, 나머지 형질들의 직접효과는 크지 않았다. 직접효과에 있어서도 全重은 정의 방향, 葉重은 부의 방향으로 달리 영향하는 것으로 나타났다. 나머지 형질들 중 葉重, 根首徑, 根徑, 葉長 등은 根重에 대한 직접효과는 크지 않았지만 全重을 통한 간접적 효과가 인정되었다. This study was conducted to clarify the direct and indirect effects of major morphological characters affecting root weight of carrot. The field experiment was carried out two times in 1991 and 1995. Root weight, number of leaf, leaf length, crown diameter, root diameter, root length, branch root, root cracking, bolting, uniformity, root-tail form, root shape, leaf weight, total weight, smoothness of root skin and hypertrophy of root were investigated. Major characters which had a direct effect on root weight were leaf weight and total weight. Total weight contributed positively towards root weight, but leaf weight had a negative effect. Number of leaves, leaf length, crown diameter, and root diameter did not have a direct influence on root weight, but they affected indirectly on root weight through increasing of total weight.

        중국 고추산업의 현황과 대응

        고추의 주된 수출국인 중국의 고추 품종, 재배, 유통 등 고추산업의 현황을 조사하고 이에 대한 몇가지 대응방안을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 1. 중국의 고추 총생산량은 전세계 생산량의 48%로서 최대 수출국은 인도네시아, 말레이시아, 한국 등지로 수출된다. 2. 중국 산동성의 고추 총생산량은 15만톤 정도이나 우리나라 고추와 비슷하고 색택이 좋은 건고추 益都椒가 숙주로 고춧가루 형태로 한국에 수출된다. 3. 경쟁력 강화를 위해서는 직파재배나 일시수확형, 붉은 색깔이 많은 고추품종의 개발이나 생산비 절감을 위찬 재배법의 개발이 필요하다. 4. 고품질 고춧가루 생산을 위한 가공기술의 개발과 고추가공 수출품의 규격화로 세계시장을 확대해야 할 것이다. Export of red pepper in China vs South Korea increased every year. Red pepper industry that is cultivars, cultivation method and distribution etc. were investigated and confrontation on the red pepper industry in South Korea were suggested as follows; The amount of red pepper production in China was possessed by 48% world production of red pepper. Presently red pepper exported to Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea. The amount of red pepper production in Shandong district in China was 1.5 hundred thousand ton. Yi du jiao that is similiar to Korean red pepper is high ASTA value and export to South Korea. For the strengthen, cultivars for direct sowing, once of harvesting and high ASTA and also cultivation method for production cost saving will be developed. Manufactering techniques for production of red pepper powder in high quality will be develope. Standard on export products of red pepper will process and expand world market.

        당근 육종에 있어서 계통선발 평점에 관련된 主要 形質들의 經路係數 分析

        당근 육종 과정 중 유망계통으로 선발되는 기준인 선발 평점이 주로 어떤 형질들에 의해 크게 영향받는가를 알고자 하였다. 5년에 걸쳐 봄 재배작형으로 시험한 자료를 가지고 상관 및 경로계수 분석을 통하여 선발평점에 미치는 여러 형질들의 직ㆍ간접효과를 조사한 바, 각 형질의 선발 평점에 대한 기여도는 년차에 따라 달랐다. 따라서 가장 큰 직접효과나 간접효과를 나타내는 형질은 매년 변하였다. 그러나 거의 항상 비교적 높은 직ㆍ간접 효과를 나타내는 형질은 찾을 수 있었는데 이는 근중과 고환성이었다. 이들 다음으로는 엽장과 수경등이었다. 반면 엽수, 지근, 근형, 근피특성 등은 직ㆍ간접효과가 가장 작았다. This study was conducted to clarify the direct and indirect effects of major morphological characters affecting selection score of carrot. The field experiment was carried out five times from 1991 to 1995. Root weight, number of leaf, leaf length, crown diameter, root diameter, root length, branch root, root cracking, bolting, uniformity, root-tail form, root shape, leaf weight, total weight, smoothness of root skin, hypertrophy of root and selection score were investigated. No character constantly showed the highest direct/indirect effect. Therefore the character showed the highest direct/indirect effect changed year to year. But it was possible to find out which characters were more important, or not. In frequency of high-ranked direct/indirect effect, two characters, root weight and root-tail form, were considered more important. The next characters were leaf length and crown diameter. The lowest were leaf number, branch root, smooth of root skin, and root shape.

        고추 조숙터널 직파재배시 멀칭재료 선발

        고추를 조숙터널재배 작형에서 직파할 때 터널지면을 멀칭하는 적정한 재료를 선발하기 위하여 2000년부터 2년간 영양고추시험장 시험포장에서 기온, 지온 등을 측정하고 고추의 생육과 수량을 조사하였으며 고추성분함량을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 직파한 고추의 입모율은 흑색P.E. 멀칭구에서 94%로 가장 높았으며 지중 10㎝에서의 최고, 최저온도는 투명P.E. 멀칭구가 가장 높았다. 2. 고추 초기생육은 흑색P.E. 멀칭구가 가장 좋았으나 후기생육은 처리간에 큰 차이가 없었다. 3. 고추 수량은 흑색P.E. 멀칭구 〉투명P.E. 멀칭구 〉배색P.E. 멀칭구 순으로 높았으며 과실 특성은 비슷하였다. 4. 흑색P.E. 멀칭구의 ASTA값이 195.7로 가장 높았으며 당함량은 투명P.E. 멀칭구가 8.7%로 높았다. This experiment was conducted to select the mulching materials at the direct sowing of red pepper in the early maturing culture under row cover. 'Taeyang' cultivar was planted at the March 27 by driect sowing. Mulching material were black P.E., clear P.E. and arranged P.E., Soil temperature at 10㎝ depth measured by Watch Dog (Spectrum Technologies Inc.) during the cropping seasons. Planting density was 4,444 plants per 10a, double row design with 0.3m between plants within the row and 1.5m with. Fertilization application on the red pepper was standard fertilization which RDA recommended. Seedling stand ratios of red pepper in the black P.E. plot was higher by 94% than the others. Soil temperature at 10㎝ depth including maximum and minimum temperatures in the clear P.E. plot were higher than those of another plots. Red pepper growth in the early stage was better in the black P.E. plot than the other plots. In the late stages, the red pepper growth to black P.E. 〉clear P.E. 〉arranged P.E. plot, but fruit characteristics were similiar. ASTA value of black P.E. plot was higher by 195.7 than the other plots. Sugar content of clear P.E. plot was 8.7%.

      • 재래종 참외 종자 및 생육초기 주요형질의 유전력과 상관관계 분석

        This experiment was conducted to obtain some basic imformation for korean native oriental melon breeding. Genetic variability, heritability, and correlation on 13 characters were analyzed. The results are summarized as follows; 1. Among 13 characters, plant height and length of lateral shoot showed high level of GCV(110-362%) and ECV(89-101%). The rest characters showed low level of GCV(7-21%) and ECV(0.16-9%). 2. Heritabilities of 13 characters investigated were high as over 50%. Especially those of hypocotyl length, 100-seed weigth and seed width were very high (> 95%). 3. High level correlation values were observed among seed characters and seedling characters. 4. Plant characters of early growth stage, except leaf stalk length, were not related with characters of seed or seedling 5. In early plant growth stage, plant height and length of lateral shoot were correlated positively with number of node, number of lateral shoot, leaf length and leaf width.

        Inheritance and Characteristics of a New Dwarf Mutant in Lettuce

        One spontaneous dwarf mutant of lettuce was found in the segregating population derived from the cross 86-197-2-1-4 × Prizehead. This mutant has shrunken, dark red cotyledons and very short hypocotyls. The stems and leaves were very soft and weak. The leaf size was smaller than 1/2 of that of the normal plant, and the flower stem was much shorter. The mutant was crossed with normal lettuce lines of 87-25M-2M and D24. The F₁ plants were normal, and the F₂ populations segregated in a 3:1 of normal and dwarf, showing that this dwarf characteristic is controlled by a single recessive gene. The results from the F₃ families confirmed the F₂ results, and the gene was named dwarf-5. The correlations of dwarf character between true second leaf length and width, number of internodes on cauline stem, three internodes length, the largest leaf length, width, and area were investigated. Dwarfing type plants could be found easily by selecting the plants having short second leaf at seedling stage.
