본 논문에서는 온 칩 rectangular Spiral 인덕터를 구현할때 인덕터의 크기를 고정하고 권선수를 증가시켜 Q값과 공진주파수의 변화를 보았다. 그리고 인덕터의 도체 구성 물질을 Cu와Al에 대하여 비교하여 Cu가 Al보다 더 높은 Q값을 가짐을 보았다. 또한, 기판과 spiral도체사이의 유전물질이 인덕터의 Q-factor에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위해 유전물질을 SiO_2와 BCB그리고 Air로 하여 비교 분석하였다. This paper present the effect of number of turns on quality factor and SRF(Self-Resonance Frequency) of on-chip rectangular spiral inductors with a fixed outer dimension. We analyze the inductors using different metals, Copper(Cu) and Aluminum(Al), respectively and demonstrate that Cu inductors have higher quality factors. We also study the impact of various dielectric interface layers of SiO_2, BCB(Benzocyclobutene), and air.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of competition anxiety of badminton players, including physical competition anxiety, cognitive competition anxiety, and competition confidence, to their athletic capabilities to help them get better record. The subjects in this study were 100 selected male and female badminton players. The statistical techniques employed in this study were t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression procedures. After the collected data were analyzed, the following findings were given; First, the physical and cognitive competition anxieties of the badminton players investigated didn't significantly vary with their gender. But their competition confidence was different according to gender. Second, the player career made a significant difference to their physical and cognitive competition anxieties The physical and cognitive competition anxieties of the players were on the decrease with age. Their competition confidence didn't differ with player career. Third, the athletic capability of the players was affected by their own competition anxiety. Specifically, the physical competition anxiety, one of the competition anxiety subfactors, and competition confidence had more effect on improving their athletic capabilities.
휴대폰용 FBAR Duplexer에 내장되는 위상천이기에 관한 연구

본 논문은 WCDM용 Duplexer의 소형화를 위한 집적화된 1×lmm^(2)이하 크기의 RF Phase Shifter를 설계 하고 제작 평가하였다. 제안된 Phase Shifter는 PCB상에서 긴 마이크로스트립 라인 대신에 실리콘 기판 상에 집중 수동 소자인 high-Q 인덕터와 MIM 커패시터로 구현되었다. 제작된 Phase Shifter를 측정한 결과 삽입손실은 0.37 dB를 얻었고, 입력 VSWR은 15.69 dB를 얻었으며, 위상은 81˚를 얻었다. 크기도 0.8×O.9㎟ 로 제작되어 Phase Shifter의 소형화의 가능성을 보였다. In this paper, we have designed, and evaluated the integrated RF phase shifter to reduce the chip size below 1×1mm^(2) for WCDMA duplexer application. Instead of the large transmission lines on the PCB, the proposed phase shifter was used small-sized lumped elements, such as integrated high-Q inductor and MIM capacitors on silicon substrates. In the measurement results of the fabricated phase shifters, the insertion loss was 0.37dB and input VSWR was 15.68dB, the phase was 81˚. Also, the final chip size was 0.8×0.9㎟, which clearly showed the feasibility of the miniaturized RF LC phase shifter.
XPS core-level shifts and XANES studies of Cu-Pt and Co-Pt alloys

The K and L_2.3 absorption edges and core-level binding-energy shifts for pure Co, Cu and Pt and Co-Pt and Cu-Pt alloys are measured to investigate changes in electronic structures of these alloys. Enhancements and depletion of the white lines in the alloys as compared to pure elements were correlated with changes in the unoccupied density of states upon alloying. We find that the Pt atoms lost d_3/2 electrons and gained d_5/2 electrons when alloyed with Cu and Co. However, the total 5d occupancy changes of the Pt were very little in Cu-Pt alloys, and this is consistent with the small shifts of Pt 4f core-level binding energy. From the quantitative analysis of Cu and Co K-edge absorption spectra, it is found tha Cu and Co have significant valence occupation changes due to dehybridization of p-d states. From these results, we suggest that the core-level shifts are affected mainly by the d-valence electron changes in these alloys. Copyright
Polyimide Surface Modification by Low Energy Ion Beam Irradiation

<P>The surface modification of polyimide (PI) by the irradiation of 3 keV He+, Ne+ and Ar+ ions was studied using XPS and AFM at various ion dose ranging from 11014 to 11017 ions/cm2. The change of surface roughness of PI by 3 keV inert ions was closely connected to the change of surface composition. At low doses below 51015 ions/cm2, the surface of polyimide was carbonized by ion irradiations, showing rough surfaces. At higher ion doses, the surface composition was saturated due to the accumulation of damages, and the surface morphology became smoother as compared with the low dose case.</P>
Charge Redistribution and Electronic Behavior in Pd-Au Alloys

Au L_3edge X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) spectra have been obtained for arcmelted Pd-An alloys. The results show a significant increase in the Au L_3-edge white-line area relative to pure Au upon alloying, indicating a decrease in the d charge at the Au site. The XANES results are combined with the x-ray photoelectron core-level shifts to derive estimates for the net charge transfer of the Au sites in PD-Au alloy system. By applying the charge compensation model, we find that Au loses d charge and gains almost the same number of sp-like electrons while Pd gains d charge and loses sp charge. This electron redistribution due to hybridization in the alloy leads a small net charge transfer from the Pd site to the Au site, in accordance with electronegativity and electroneutrality arguments.
Grain-Size Effects and the Physical Properties of La<sub>0.7</sub>Ca<sub>0.3</sub>MnO<sub>3-δ</sub>

<P>The effects of grain-size in La0.7Ca0.3MnO3-δ (LCMO) system have been studied in connection with the magnetic and electronic properties. LCMO system prepared by the solid-state reaction was annealed in air at 1200, 1300 and 1400°C. The grain sizes of LCMO samples become larger with increasing of annealing temperature (TA ). The magnetization in LCMO samples increased while the coercive field decreased with increasing TA. The conductivity increased and the metal-insulator transition temperature TM-I decreased with increasing of TA. These physical properties are due to the oxygen deficiency caused by the increase of grain size. Finally, it was found that the grain size and the mechanical connection between grains play an important role in determining the electronic and magnetic properties.</P>
