Variable Sampling Inspection with Screening When Lot Quality Follows Mixed Normal Distribution
Suzuki, Yuichiro,Takemoto, Yasuhiko,Arizono, Ikuo Korean Institute of Industrial Engineers 2009 Industrial Engineeering & Management Systems Vol.8 No.3
The variable sampling inspection scheme with screening for the purpose of assuring the upper limit of maximum expected surplus loss after inspection has been proposed. In this inspection scheme, it has been assumed that a product lot consists of products manufactured through a single production line and lot quality characteristics follow a normal distribution. In the previous literature with respect to inspection schemes, it has been commonly assumed that lot quality characteristics obey a single normal distribution under the condition that all products are manufactured in the same condition. On the other hand, the production line is designed in order that the workload of respective processes becomes uniform from the viewpoint of line balancing. One of the solutions for the bottleneck process is to arrange the workshops in parallel. The lot quality characteristics from such a production line with the process consisting of some parallel workshops might not follow strictly the single normal distribution. Therefore, we expand an applicable scope of the above mentioned variable sampling inspection scheme with screening in this article. Concretely, we consider the variable sampling inspection with screening for the purpose of assuring the upper limit of average outgoing surplus quality loss in the production lots when the lot quality follows the mixed normal distribution.
Current Status of NeLS Project-A Study of Global Multimedia Mobile Satellite Communications
Suzuki, Ryutaro,Nishiyama, Iwao,Motoyoshi, Shigeru,Yasuda, Yasuhiko 통신위성우주산업연구회 2001 Joint Conference on Satellite Communications Vol.2001 No.-
NeLS Research Center was formed in the end of 1997, and started the key technology developments of the low earth orbit constellation system for global multimedia mobile satellite communications service. For the NeLS constellation, 120 satellites with 1200 km of satellite altitude, was selected. For the satellite antenna developments, the digital beam forming technology was employed. In order to reduce the SSPA power consumption and to keep good linearity, novel pre-distortion type and distortion feedback type linearizer were developed. For the optical ISL system, de optical modem and optical tracking mechanism were developed. The optical DPSK/differential detection modem was evaluated. For the optical antenna mechanism, Coude type, the elbow type and the active universal joint type of optical antenna mechanism were developed. For the satellite network study, the satellite ATM network simulator was developed.

In this paper, Robust Digital Controller applied to Constant Voltage Control (CV control) of our electronicload which had a very fast response of current. We derived two types of control object. As a result, they showed faster response of current and more stable than existing circuit of CV control. To achieve faster CV control, you will adapt CV control to much further cases of application.

Endovascular treatment for wide-necked posterior communicating artery (PcomA) aneurysms with a fetal-type variant of the posterior cerebral artery (PCA) is often challenging. Since the complete occlusion rates achieved with the currently available treatment methods are unsatisfactory, we aimed to study the effectiveness of a double-balloon-assisted technique for these aneurysms. From September 2014 to August 2020, 6 consecutive patients with PcomA aneurysms with fetal-type PCAs and no previous treatment were treated with this technique at our institution (3 ruptured cases and 3 unruptured cases). The indication for this technique is that the neck of the aneurysm should significantly and broadly incorporate both the internal carotid artery and fetal-type PCA, such that a single-balloon remodeling and single stent would be inadequate to protect both the arteries. In all patients, the fetal-type PCAs were preserved without a stent and with adequate occlusion status. This double-balloon technique can be effective in the treatment of these aneurysms.
