Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis. However, the exact pathogenesis remains unclear. Emerging evidence shows that N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modification may have an important role in OA pathogenesis. This study aimed to investigate the role of m6A writers and the underlying mechanisms in osteoarthritic cartilage. Among m6A methyltransferases, Wilms tumor 1-associated protein (WTAP) expression most significantly differed in clinical osteoarthritic cartilage. WTAP regulated extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation, inflammation and antioxidation in human chondrocytes. Mechanistically, the m6A modification and relative downstream targets in osteoarthritic cartilage were assessed by methylated RNA immunoprecipitation sequencing (MeRIP-seq) and RNA sequencing, which indicated that the expression of frizzled-related protein (FRZB), a secreted Wnt antagonist, was abnormally decreased and accompanied by high m6A modification in osteoarthritic cartilage. In vitro dysregulated WTAP had positive effects on β-catenin expression by targeting FRZB, which finally contributed to the cartilage injury phenotype in chondrocytes. Intra-articular injection of adeno-associated virus-WTAP alleviated OA progression in a mouse model, while this protective effect could be reversed by the application of a Wnt/β-catenin activator. In summary, this study revealed that WTAP-dependent RNA m6A modification contributed to Wnt/β-catenin pathway activation and OA progression through post-transcriptional regulation of FRZB mRNA, thus providing a potentially effective therapeutic strategy for OA treatment.

The baculovirus Autographa californica nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcMNPV), a large circular double-stranded DNA virus whose genome encodes at least 155 open reading frames (ORFs), is highly pathogenic to a number of lepidopteran insects and widely used to transduce various cells for exogenous gene expression. Although many genes of AcMNPV have been identified, the genome-wide study related to viral replication has not been well announced. In this study, to elucidate DNA replication cascade of AcMNPV, we firstly developed a novel baculovirus genome that can be maintained in Escherichia coli as a plasmid and can infect susceptible lepidopteran insect cells. This genome, named bAc-MK, contains a mini-F replicon and a kanamycin resistance marker. Using a convenient Tn7 transposon-based system, pPCS-S, which contains an ampicillin resistance gene, ORF knock-out mutants were generated by random insertion into bAc-MK genome. These mutants will be suffered DNA microarray to elucidate AcMNPV replication cascade.
Quantum Transport Simulations of CNTFETs: Performance Assessment and Comparison Study with GNRFETs

In this paper, we explore the electrical properties and high-frequency performance of carbon nanotube field-effect transistors (CNTFETs), based on the non-equilibrium Green's functions (NEGF) solved self - consistently with Poisson's equations. The calculated results show that CNTFETs exhibit superior performance compared with graphene nanoribbon field-effect transistors (GNRFETs), such as better control ability of the gate on the channel, higher drive current with lower subthreshold leakage current, and lower subthreshold-swing (SS). Due to larger band-structure-limited velocity in CNTFETs, ballistic CNTFETs present better high-frequency performance limit than that of Si MOSFETs. The parameter effects of CNTFETs are also investigated. In addition, to enhance the immunity against short - channel effects (SCE), hetero - material - gate CNTFETs (HMG-CNTFETs) have been proposed, and we present a detailed numerical simulation to analyze the performances of scaling down, and conclude that HMG-CNTFETs can meet the ITRS'10 requirements better than CNTs.
CYP19 gene variant confers susceptibility to endometriosis-associated infertility in Chinese women

An aromatase encoded by the CYP19 gene catalyzes the final step in the biosynthesis of estrogens, which is related to endometriosis development. To assess the association of CYP19 gene polymorphisms with the risks of endometriosis, chocolate cysts and endometriosis-related infertility, a case–control study was conducted in Chinese Han women by recruiting 225 healthy control females, 146 patients with endometriosis, 94 endometriosis women with chocolate cyst and 65 women with infertility resulting from endometriosis, as diagnosed by both pathological and laparoscopic findings. Individual genotypes atrs2236722:T4C, rs700518:A4G, rs10046:T4C and [TTTA]n polymorphisms were identified. Allelic and genotypic frequencies were compared between the control group and case groups by chi-square analysis. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) were determined by logistic regression analysis to predict the association of CYP19 gene polymorphisms with the risk of endometriosis, the related chocolate cysts and infertility. The genotype distributions of the tested CYP19 gene polymorphisms were not significantly different between the healthy control group and the endometriosis/endometriosis with the chocolate cyst group. However, the CYP19 rs700518AA genotype was significantly associated with an increased risk of endometriosis-related infertility (55.4% in the infertility group vs 25.3% in the control group, Po0.001;OR (95% CI): 3.66 (2.06–6.50)) under the recessive form of the A allele. Therefore, we concluded that in Chinese Han females CYP19 gene polymorphisms are not associated with susceptibility to endometriosis or chocolate cysts, whereas CYP19 rs700518AA genotype confers genetic susceptibility to endometriosis-related infertility.
의복의 2D 도식화, 3D 가상착의, 실제착의 외관 평가 비교 -20~30대 중국인 평가를 중심으로-

This study investigated similarities and differences between 2D flat sketch, 3D virtual clothing and real clothing images. Flat sketch, 3D virtual clothing, and real clothing images of T-shirts and dresses were made. Questionnaires were prepared for fit evaluation, sensory evaluation, and location evaluation. A survey of 440 questionnaires was collected from Chinese women in their 20s and 30s. As results of the sensibility evaluation, 3D virtual clothing expressed real clothing images slightly more similar than a 2D flat sketch. As results of the fit evaluation of the dresses, 2D flat sketch and 3D virtual clothing were rated as slightly longer/wider, and real clothing images were rated as slightly shorter/narrower. The results suggested that presenting 3D images with avatars as 3D virtual clothing images will provide more accurate fit evaluation results. This study presented possibilities and methods for apparel companies to utilize 3D system as an effective apparel production tool.

본 연구는 산업적으로 앞선 일본과 한국 지역의 주요 디자인정책 의 현황을 살펴보고, ‘정책과 진흥’으로 조성된 ‘디자인 환경’이 국 가의 전반적인 경제적 발전에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 살펴본 것이다. 일본과 한국의 정부 자금조달 유형은 산업 진흥과 디자인 능력 개발에 기여한다는 점에서 유사하였는데 디자인 계획을 5년으로 입 안 시행한 정부는 많지 않았다. 분명히 정부 주도의 디자인 조직은 아시아 국가에서 효과가 있었다. 또한 두 나라에서는 디자인 조직 운영의 예산이 매년 증가하고 있으며, 이는 디자인이라는 브랜드가 가장 큰 경제성장의 결과라는 믿음을 갖고 있다. KIDP, JIDPO 등 의 디자인 센터의 조직 운영에 따라 디자인에 대한 인식이 확산되었으며, 회사는 디자인을 필수적 운영의 일부로 받아들이게 되었다.

목적을 달성하기 위한 진행 방법으로 우선 현재 중국 지역의 대표 대학교에 수록되어 있는 조사 가능 한 청화대학교 미술대학부의 시각산업디자인과 조선 대학교 디자인학부 시간정보미디어전공 관련 대학교를 조사 대상으로 삼고, 각대학의 기초자료로서 전공교육의 철학과 목표, 운영 방법과 일반적인 사항, 교육제도에 대한 현황 등을 조사 분석하였다.
