‘1933노장방(老场坊)’에 나타난 상해 근대건축의 공간재생 특성에 관한 연구

This study investigated the features of spatial regeneration, which have been presented in modern architecture in Shanghai, through the example of the ‘1933 Old Millfun’, which used to be a slaughterhouse, but now have a new look after its complete renovation. Such features include: (1) the newly renovated building, ‘1933 Old Millfun’, has become a media where visitors can experience the past and present, as well as it is leading the cultural and economic development in Shanghai; (2) as creative industries open stores in the building; (2) the ‘1933 Old Millfun’ is a product of Chinese culture and Western architectural style, and it pursued co-existence of history and the present through the preservation of basic elements, as well as through cultural and technological exchanges between China and the West; (3) the architecture of the ‘1933 Old Millfun’ could prove crafts art or architectural technology of that time through techniques of restoring and preserving existing elements; (4) the ‘1933 Old Millfun’ attempted to create new elements to satisfy the lifestyle of modern society, as well as the existing architecture of a slaughterhouse, through the actions of selecting flexible elements, adopting colorless materials, and forming new space. Through these features, this study attempted to evaluate the value of modern architecture and make a modern interpretation of the architecture. In addition, this study explored the identity of historical space and the temporal juxtaposition where the past and present intersect by experiencing the past architecture in modern life. It also investigated how such spatial recomposition and renovation of modern architecture influence the urban development of Shanghai.

The Boundary structure in architecture is a form of combining and arranging the architectural elements such as columns, beams, floors, ceilings, walls, windows, and doorways. Walter Gropius presented a new possibility for the boundary of time, space, material use, and interior and exterior spaces through the corner of the Fagus Factory, one of his representative works. Therefore the purpose of this study is to conduct an in-depth investigation of the boundary characteristics of Walter Gropius’ works by investigating the boundary structure characteristics of detached houses, which are more closed to life than other works.

The purpose of this study is to propose new ideas and directions for urban regeneration in Korea, and to understand the implications of architecturally protecting the environment or a plan that respects history by analyzing the case of urban regeneration in Denmark. To this end, the historical background, development guidelines and project development were examined through a theoretical study on the development of Carlsberg Byen developed to preserve the historicity and environment of Copenhagen, Denmark, and the architectural characteristics of Theodora House in Carlsberg Byen were analyzed. The conclusions are as follows: 1) Urban regeneration means giving a new function and significance to the city and enhancing its social and economic value by increasing its contribution to environmental protection while preserving its historical and cultural values. 2) The harmony with the surrounding area should also be emphasized at the same time when the historicity of the city and old buildings are protected by reusing the old building materials and reconstructing the old facades. 3) Besides the physical regeneration of a building, the functional regeneration is also an important means to preserve its historicity. 4) It’s also an important part of urban regeneration to create new meaning and value by introducing new functions and adopting new facade design.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the unit plan characteristics of security housing in China. In order to understand the background and types of security housing, a theoretical study on the evolution of Chinas housing policy and the supply of security housing types was conducted firstly. This study looks at public rental housing in Beijing as the case study, grasps the building outline and the unit plan types, and studies the architectural and spatial characteristics of the unit plan through comparison and analysis. The influence of Chinese culture and living habits on the shape and spatial composition of the unit plan can be summarized as follows: 1) There are no entrance under the stand-type lifestlye of China, especially one with height difference. 2) According to the geomantic omen concept of circinal sky and square ground, the shape of the unit plan is mainly designed with a combination of square spaces. 3) The kitchen is mostly presented with closed structure due to the greasy and spicy Chinese food culture. 4) The separation of dynamic space and static space or public space and private space is extremely obvious. 5) The plan of the transition space is also one of the spatial characteristics.
The establishment of IB-SEM numerical method and verification of fluid-solid interaction

The interaction between particles and fluid was investigated by IB-SEM numerical method which is a combination of combing the spectral/hp element method and the rigid immersed boundary method. The accuracy of this numerical method was verified based on the computed results with the traditional body-fitted mesh in numerical simulation of the flow through the cylinder. Then the governing equations of particles motion and contact in fluid are constructed. The movement of the particles and the interaction between the fluid and the particles are investigated. This method avoided the problem of low computational efficiency and error caused by the re-division of the grid when the solids moved. Finally, the movement simulation of multi particles in the fluid was carried out, which can provide a completely new numerical simulation method.
An Efficient Key Predistribution Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks via Combinatorial Design

As Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are usually deployed in remote or even hostile environment, the adoption of security mechanism is fundamental. To achieve secure communication between sensor nodes in WSNs, it is important to establish efficient key predistribution schemes. Unfortunately, key management scheme is a challenging issue for WSNs because of the resource limitations in the sensor nodes. In this paper, we propose an efficient key management scheme for WSNs, which assigns the key spaces to sensor nodes via combinatorial design. In the scheme Finite Projective Plane is mapped to obtain efficient key distribution scheme. Connectivity, resistance against attacks, storage and communication overhead are studied analytically and computationally. Compared to related schemes, the proposed scheme performs better against compromised node attacks.
