      • Effect of Anhydride Grafting Agent on Trap Levels of Low-Density Polyethylene

        Lijuan He,Zhenhua Yuan,Xiong Yang,Huiqing Niu,Chao Zhu,Dawei Li,Lei Zhao,Chuntian Chen 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.5

Trap distribution of the low-density polyethylene(LDPE) modified by anhydride grafting agent was studied and the effect of grafting agent on the trap levels was analyzed by the method of Photo-stimulated Discharge in this paper. Different concentrations and types of same concentration of LDPE modified by anhydride grafting agent were measured by using continuous UV scanning. The results showed that different concentrations and types of grafting agent had effect on trap levels distribution of LDPE. The trap depth would decrease with the anhydride grafting agent content increasing and increase with its damaged condition increasing when anhydride grafting agent was destroyed. Anhydride grafting agent are widely applied to the production and research of high pressure insulating polyethylene materials. The purpose of this paper is to elaborate the effect of anhydride grafting agent on the insulating properties of polyethylene material and explain the strongest binding capacity of anhydride grafting agent to space charge.

Temperature-constrained topology optimization of nonlinear heat conduction problems

Zhuang Chungang,Xiong Zhenhua,Ding Han 한국CDE학회 2021 Journal of computational design and engineering Vol.8 No.4

This paper presents topology optimization of nonlinear heat conduction problems with multiple domains and multiple constraints, including regional temperature and material volume for reducing temperature. Maximum approximation temperatures in the constraint regions are accurately and dynamically calculated, though temperature and temperature-dependent thermal conductivity change with the update of material distribution. A temperature measure with constant error to approximate regional maximum temperature is adaptive to different temperature ranges. A strategy of hole nucleation generation combined with the regional temperature constraints is presented for the level set-based topology optimization. The solid isotropic material with penalization (SIMP) and parametrized level set methods are compared for the temperature-constrained topology optimization. Finally, several numerical examples are solved by the SIMP and parametrized level set methods. The results demonstrate that the proposed approach can obtain intricate topological details and reduce regional temperatures for the nonlinear heat conduction problems.

A Generalized Input-output-based Digital Sliding-mode Control for Piezoelectric Actuators with Non-minimum Phase Property

        Haifeng Ma,Yangmin Li,Zhenhua Xiong 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2019 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.17 No.3

In this paper, a generalized input-output-based digital sliding-mode control (GIODSMC) is developedfor piezoelectric actuators (PEA) with non-minimum phase (NMP) property. First, the instability mechanism ofthe traditional input-output-based digital sliding-mode control (IODSMC) for NMP systems is analyzed. Then, ageneralized approximate input-output model is established to cancel the effect of unstable zeros in NMP systems. The generalized model can be transformed into different forms, which represents a class of approximate modelssuitable for this situation. Based on this model, a controller, called the GIODSMC, is presented. Unlike existingworks, the developed controller ensures precision motion control for PEA with NMP property. Moreover, additionalcontrol parameters are not required to stabilize the NMP systems, and neither a hysteresis model nor a stateobserver is needed for the developed method. Stability of the closed-loop system is theoretically analyzed. At last, the presented method is tested through numerical simulations and experimental investigations on a piezoelectricactuator device.

PCSK9 regulates myocardial ischemia–reperfusion injury through parkin/pink1-mediated autophagy pathway

        Huang Guangwei,Bao Hailong,Zhan Peng,Lu Xiyang,Duan Zonggang,Xiong Xinlin,Lin Muzhi,Wang Bing,An Hongxin,Xiahou Luanda,Zhou Haiyan,Luo Zhenhua,Li Wei 대한독성 유전단백체 학회 2024 Molecular & cellular toxicology Vol.20 No.2

Objectives This study aimed at investigating the role of the proprotein convertase subtilisin/Kexin type 9 (PCSK9)-mediated autophagy on myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury (MIRI). To determine the relationship between autophagy, apoptosis, fibrosis, and inflammation in the myocardium, to provide experience in preventing and treating the myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. Methods An AC16 hypoxia-reoxygenation model and a rat myocardial ischemia–reperfusion model were established. The concentrations of cardiac troponin T (cTnT) and creatine kinase-MB (CKMB) in plasma were measured by ELISA. To determine the size of the myocardial infarction, TTC/EB staining was performed. In addition to identifying pathological changes in myocardial tissue, Masson’s trichrome stains and H&E stains were used to identify pathological changes. Echocardiography was employed to detect cardiac function. Western blot analysis was then performed to detect the protein expression of Parkin, Pink1, and markers associated with autophagy (Beclin-1, p62, LC3). Results A significant increase in PCSK9 was observed in the myocardium during H/R. In the cardiac-specific PCSK9 knockdown model, cardiac autophagy was significantly inhibited, whereas cardiac-specific PCSK9 overexpression promoted cardiac autophagy. In vivo studies have demonstrated a significant decrease in cardiac autophagy when the PCSK9 inhibitor was administered. Apoptosis induced by I/R was greatly decreased, and myocardial infarction size and function were both improved by PCSK9 inhibitors. Mechanistically, the PCSK9 inhibitor improved the degree of myocardial fibrosis and inhibited the development of inflammation. Conclusions Our results demonstrated that increased PCSK9 via the parkin/pink1 signaling pathway contributes to I/R and H/R by exaggerating excessive autophagy during reperfusion/reoxygenation. In addition, the PCSK9 inhibitor blocked the development of inflammation and improved Infarct size, myocardial function, and myocardial fibrosis.

A Novel Rate-dependent Direct Inverse Preisach Model With Input Iteration for Hysteresis Compensation of Piezoelectric Actuators

        Yutong Sun,Haifeng Ma,Zhanqiang Liu,Yangmin Li,Zhenhua Xiong 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2024 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.22 No.4

This paper proposes the design and validation of a novel rate-dependent direct inverse Preisach model with input iteration (RDIPMII) dedicated to feedforward compensation of hysteresis nonlinearity in piezoelectricactuators (PEAs). Unlike existing similar works, the proposed RDIPMII avoids deriving the parameters of the inverse compensator from the hysteresis model, and could be directly employed as the inverse compensator. Furthermore, RDIPMII is capable of achieving rate-dependent inverse compensation while reducing the experimental burden in identifying models by the use of newly proposed data expression method (DEM). In addition, by integrating iterative learning control (ILC), RDIPMII accomplishes online input iteration to further suppress the hysteresis effect. The feasibility and efficiency of the presented scheme are demonstrated through experimental investigations conducted on a PEA.
