Catalytic combustion of CO over perovskite-type oxides LaCo0.5M0.5O3 (M = Mn, Cr, Fe, Ni, Cu) and LaCo0.5Mn0.5O3 supported on cordierite were investigated. The catalysts were synthesized by impregnation method with citrate and characterized by XRD, SEM and TPR. The LaCo0.5Mn0.5O3catalyst showed much higher activity in CO oxidation compared with LaCo0.5M0.5O3 (M = Cr, Fe, Ni, Cu)due to different kinds of valence state and lattice oxygen content. When LaCo0.5Mn0.5O3 was supported on cordierite, the activity was improved significantly. However, calcining temperature and the presence of water vapor affected the catalytic activity due to sintering and competition of H2O with CO for adsorption, respectively.
A Method for Service Evaluation Based on Fuzzy Theory for Cloud Computing

Aiming at the phenomenon of false information issued by service providers in cloud computing environment, a method for service evaluation based on fuzzy theory is put forward in this paper. According to the quality of services provided by cloud service providers and their behavior during interactions, a trust relationship between cloud service providers and cloud service consumers is established, which can be quantified by using fuzzy theory. The quality of services is evaluated by drawing on the trust relationship. In our method, the recommendation credibility of a cloud service consumer is determined through behavior similarity with evaluators and a praise factor. The introduction of the praise factor better suits the phenomenon of a high-quality service getting more repeat customers. The negative impact of dishonest customers is reduced, and the accuracy of trust and cloud service quality evaluation is improved by introducing a confidence factor that can be dynamically adjusted. The experimental results show that our method can effectively and accurately evaluate the trust value and service quality of providers, while weakening the influence of dishonest consumers, and quickly detect dishonest service providers. This is beneficial for consumers trying to find high quality service providers for similar services.

Several catalysts of the general formula, MMnOx (M = Co, Ni, Fe and Cu), were synthesised through the impregnation method; their activities were shown to be enhanced by the addition of a small amount of Pd (0.01–0.1 wt%). These catalysts exhibit different activities for the catalytic oxidation of CO, due to the different valence states of various transition metal oxides. The introduction of Pd prominently enhanced both the reduction and oxidation capabilities of the catalysts. These catalysts were optimised for oxidation activities by designing orthogonal experiments. Based upon the catalysts’ properties, the stability of these samples and their ability to resist steam over Pd/CoMnOx/cordierite were investigated.
New Calibration Method of Two-Dimensional Laser Scanner and Camera Based on LM-BP Neural Network

The calibration between a camera and a two-dimensional laser scanner (2DLS) is an essential step in the object detecting system. Many algorithms with linear model have been proposed. But these tend to solve intrinsic and extrinsic calibration parameters separately and are influenced seriously by the poor initial data, which leads to unstable and inaccurate results. Hence, a new nonlinear model based on the Back Propagation neural network trained by the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm (LM-BP) is presented for calibration in this paper. Before the calibration, the original laser data is fitted linearly to avoid the ranging error and is optimized by an angular increment to reduce the step-angular error. Then, the calibration network with 4 inputs composed of the lasers points’ coordinates and constant 1, and 2 outputs are obtained, expected values of which are the coordinates of corresponding points in the image coordinates. The sum of square of errors between the network outputs and expected values is taken to adjust the modifications of the weights and thresholds with the Levenberg-Marquardt method to optimize the calibration model. Finally, compared with related researches, experimental results show that the accuracy of calibration between camera and 2DLS is significantly improved, and the detecting system is more suitable for actual measurement situations.
