Xiang, Zhaoyin,Chen, Qiong,Mu, Chunlai Korean Mathematical Society 2007 대한수학회지 Vol.44 No.4
In this note, we consider a system of two reaction-diffusion equations with absorption, under homogeneous Dirichlet boundary. Using scaling methods, we establish the blow-up rate estimates.
Orthogonal Optimization Design and Finite Element Analysis of Converging Stepped Magnetic Fluid Seal
Fu-xiang Hao,An-le Mu 한국자기학회 2022 Journal of Magnetics Vol.27 No.2
In order to better solve the problem of air leakage during compressor operation, based on the converging stepped magnetic fluid seal structure, the L16 (4⁴) orthogonal test design and the numerical simulation of the finite element method are combined to optimize the sealing structure. Four factors, four levels and the corresponding orthogonal table are selected in this paper. The simulation results of each test are calculated and range values are studied. Finally, sealing pressure capability of the structure before and after optimization are calculated and compared. The results show that under the conditions of different axial and radial sealing gaps, the sealing pressure capability of converging stepped magnetic fluid seal structure has been significantly improved after orthogonal optimization, especially when the radial sealing gap is relatively small. The maximum pressure capability can be improved by about 11 %, which fully proves the effectiveness of orthogonal optimization. At the same time, the research results can also provide references for the application of other rotary sealing conditions.

Objective: This study investigated the effect of fermented biogas residue (FBR) of wheat on the performance, serum biochemical parameters, and meat quality in pigs. Methods: We selected 128 pigs (the mean initial body weight was $40.24{\pm}3.08kg$) and randomly allocated them to 4 groups (1 control group and 3 treatment groups) with 4 replicates per group and 8 pigs per pen in a randomized complete block design based on initial body weight and sex. The control group received a corn-soybean meal-based diet, the treatment group fed diets containing 5%, 10%, and 15% FBR, respectively (abbreviated as FBR5, FBR10, and FBR15, respectively). Every group received equivalent-energy and nitrogen diets. The test lasted 60 days and was divided into early and late stages. Blood and carcass samples were obtained on 60 d. Meat quality was collected from two pigs per pen. Results: During the late stage, the average daily feed intake and average daily gain of the treatment groups was greater than that of the control group (p<0.05). During the entire experiment, the average daily gain of the treatment groups was higher than that of the control group (p<0.05). Fermented biomass residue did not significantly affect serum biochemical parameters or meat quality, but did affect amino acid profiles in pork. The contents of Asp, Arg, Tyr, Phe, Leu, Thr, Ser, Lys, Pro, Ala, essential amino acids, non-essential amino acids, and total amino acids in pork of FBR5 and FBR10 were greater than those of the control group (p<0.05). Conclusion: These combined results suggest that feeding FBR could increase the average daily gain and average daily feed intake in pigs and the content of several flavor-promoting amino acids.

Staphylococcus aureus causes a broad variety of diseases. The spread of multidrug-resistant S. aureus highlights the need to develop new ways to combat S. aureus infections. Sortase A (SrtA) can anchor proteins containing LPXTG binding motifs to the bacteria surface and plays a key role in S. aureus infections, making it a promising antivirulence target. In the present study, we used a SrtA activity inhibition assay to discover that isovitexin, a Chinese herbal product, can inhibit SrtA activity with an IC50 of 28.98 μg/ml. Using a fibrinogen-binding assay and a biofilm formation assay, we indirectly proved the SrtA inhibitory activity of isovitexin. Additionally, isovitexin treatment decreased the amount of staphylococcal protein A (SpA) on the surface of the cells. These data suggest that isovitexin has the potential to be an anti-infective drug against S. aureus via the inhibition of sortase activity.
Efficiency Optimization Control of an IPMSM Drive System for Electric Vehicles (EVs)
Qin-Mu Wu,Yu Zhan,Mei Zhang,Xiang-Ping Chen,Wen-Ping Cao 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2021 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.19 No.8
Electric vehicles are a key technology to decarbonize the transport sector where interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSMs) are the best performer at the heart of the electrical drive system. In order to optimize their operational efficiency, the model-based method associated with parameter identification is widely adopted. However, efficiency optimization and parameter identification in the existing methods are implemented independently by different strategies in a sequential execution manner, which does not produce an optimized systemlevel solution. In this paper, the two methods are combined to deal with a constrained optimization problem in an IPMSM drive. Firstly, the problem is converted into a variational problem based on the variational principle and projection dynamic theory. Then, a unified projection dynamic equation (UPDE) is used to estimate the parameters and determine the solution of optimal current (OC) of the IPMSM. Further, a recursive neural network (RNN)corresponding to the UPDE is developed to implement the developed fast efficiency optimization of the IPMSM drive. The results of simulation experiments show the proposed method is effective to identify motor parameters and determine the OC of the drive system rapidly and accurately. Thus, it can rapidly realize efficiency optimization of an IPMSM drive-system. Because the designed RNN can be easily implemented in the hardware, such as a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) or dedicated neural network chip, the method can achieve instantaneousefficiency optimization of the IPMSM drive system and therefore improve the widespread application of IPMSMs in EVs.

Makrofol DE1-4C detectors were exposed to fission fragments and alpha particles (of energy 0.5 -3 MeV) from a 252Cf source in a vacuum chamber. The exposed detectors were etched in 6-N NaOHsolution at 70 C to measure etch induction times. An optical microscope was used to investigatevarious charged particle tracks and diameters in Makrofol detectors. The etch induction times foralpha-particle and fission-fragment tracks were obtained from the intersections of extrapolations ofa graph of track diameters with time. The obtained results will be very useful in nuclear trackstudies, as well as nanotechnology fields.

In this paper, the almost surely globally asymptotical stability and the almost surely exponential stability for dual switching continuous-time nonlinear system are investigated by using the probability analysis method and stochastic Multi-Lyapunov function, respectively. Different from the previous research results, it is the first time that dual switching continuous-time nonlinear system is used as a study object to investigate its switching stability. Then, the probability analysis method is used to overcome the deficiency that the ergodicity no longer holds due to the variable transition rate of Markov process. Some sufficient conditions for the globally asymptomatic stability almost surely and the almost surely exponential stability of dual switching continuous-time nonlinear system are given under the pre-designed deterministic switching strategy. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
