The intention of this study is I have right understand and inherit and advance the traditional wedding as I am research make up and hail styles in the traditional wedding. Research way of mine is the books of the traditional wedding and the preceding thesis. The first, our traditional wedding is a man goes to a woman`s house and they have a wedding ceremony and then begin a new marriage life in woman`s home. These kinds of our traditional wedding is mixed with Chines traditional wedding of confucianism and formed six ceremony which is Hon-dam, Nap-chae, Nap-gi, Nap-pae, Yae-sik and Oo-gui. The second, the formal dress of groom is Sa-mo, Dan-ryoung, Poom-dae and Hwa. the formal dress of bride is Hwal-ot or Won-sam tied with Dae-dae. A hair ornaments Jok-doo-lee or Hwa-gwan with an ornam400al hairpin(Bee-nyou), Youp-daeng-gee, Do-too-lak-daeng-gee and No-ri-gae. Bride`s shoes is Oon-hyae and Dang-hyae. The third, bride make up her face with a little more bright color, arch type eyebrows, red or a rouge on her cheek(Youn-jee), brow(Gon-jee) and lips. The nature and light make up color have to match with a korean traditional dress. It is better good give points to lips only. Otherwise, bride makeup in western wedding generally uses pearl feeling shadow eyes makeup on a shining skin and characters eyes with emphasis eye line. Lips use light pink lip gloss. The fourth, Hair is each half part in her ones and combs her hair back with a dense comb(Cham-bit) and braid and ties of her hair on back and low position of her neck. Then band fold up a braid imitate hair(Dal-bee) and tucks up the hair with red Daeng-gee(pigtail ribbon) and fixes it with an ornamental hairpin.

Objective: Recently scolopendrid aquacupuncture has been a good effect on pain control but it has not been known about clinical safety. So, In order to prove the clinical safety of scolopendrid aquacupuncture, We have observed the physical reac-tion and clinical pathology test after scolopendrid aquacupuncture treatment. Methods: We analyzed physical reaction and clinical pathology test before and after Scolopendrid aquacupuncture treatment of 30 patients suffering from pain, who admitted department of Acupunture and Moxibustion, College of Oriental Medicine, Won-Kwang University Kwangju hospital. Results & Conclusions: The results were summarized as follows. 1) The distribution of sex was 14 males and 16 females, and the average of patients age was 46.2 years. 2) The distribution of symptom was lumbago, lumbago with radiating pain, nuchal pain and knee joint pain. 3) In the 30 patients treated with Scolopendrid aquacupuncture, hematologic test did not show remarkable change. 4) In the 30 patients treated with Scolopendrid aquacupuncture, Liver function test(AST, ALT, ALP) showed a slight decrease on the contrary, and abnormal rate showed a decrease of 1.0%(from 3.3% to 2.3%) compared with previous study. 5) In the 30 patients treated with Scolopendrid aquacupuncture, Renal function test(BUN, Cr) and abnormal rate(from 2.5% to 2.0%) showed a slight decrease on the contrary. 6) In the 30 patients treated with Scolopendrid aquacupuncture. Electrolyte were normal range before & after treatment. 7) In the results of the Urine analysis of 30 patients, Leukocyte, Protein. Glucose, Keton, Bilirubin, U-bilinogen were not detected before and after Scolopendrid aquacupuncture treatment, and the rest almost made no difference. 8) In the Physical reactions, all of the patients complained of pain of body partially, only one patient showed reddish and itch, but symptoms like those were entirely disappeared within 24 hours and whole body pain, swelling, headache, dizziness, fatigue and nausea was not observed.

<P>In this paper, we demonstrated thin film semitransparent anode electrode using Ni/Ag/Ni (3/6/3 nm) on green and red phosphorescent OLEDs, which have basically high efficiency and good optical characteristics. Moreover, we applied this semitransparent anode on flexible green and red phosphorescent OLEDs, which were then optimized for possible applications on flexible substrates. First, we studied optimization using various conditions of Ni/Ag/Ni electrodes via transmittance and sheet resistance. We then fabricated the devices on a glass substrate with ITO or Ni/Ag/Ni electrodes as well as on a flexible substrate with a Ni/Ag/Ni electrode for green and red phosphorescent OLEDs. Consequently, we could be proposed that the potential of our semitransparent anode electrode is demonstrated. Green phosphorescent OLEDs characteristics using ITO or Ni/Ag/Ni anode electrodes were coincided and those of the red phosphorescent OLEDs were improved by semitransparent electrodes at 10,000 cd/m2 criterion. Therefore, this research suggests for additional studies to be conducted on flexible and high-performance phosphorescent OLED displays and light applications for ITO-free processes.</P>

<P>Tristetraprolin (TTP) and <I>let-7</I> microRNA exhibit suppressive effects on cell growth through down-regulation of oncogenes. Both TTP and <I>let-7</I> are often repressed in human cancers, thereby promoting oncogenesis by derepressing their target genes. However, the precise mechanism of this repression is unknown. We here demonstrate that p53 stimulated by the DNA-damaging agent doxorubicin (DOX) induced the expression of <I>TTP</I> in cancer cells. TTP in turn increased <I>let-7</I> levels through down-regulation of <I>Lin28a</I>. Correspondingly, cancer cells with mutations or inhibition of p53 failed to induce the expression of both <I>TTP</I> and <I>let-7</I> on treatment with DOX. Down-regulation of <I>TTP</I> by small interfering RNAs attenuated the inhibitory effect of DOX on <I>let-7</I> expression and cell growth. Therefore, TTP provides an important link between p53 activation induced by DNA damage and <I>let-7</I> biogenesis. These novel findings provide a mechanism for the widespread decrease in TTP and <I>let-7</I> and chemoresistance observed in human cancers.</P>

We studied 14 adult patients presenting with fever and cytopenia of the peripheral blood and histiocytic hyperplasia with hemophagocytosis(HHH) in the bone marrow about association of CMV and EBV by using in situ hybridization(ISH) and also evaluated the clinical and laboratory findings according to the encountered organisms. ISH using CMV RNA probe demonstrated infected cells in 6 out of 14 cases(43%), and ISH using EBV EBER RNA probe demonstrated infected nuclei in 5 out of the same 14 cases(36%) of HHH. No cases showed positive reaction with both probes. Three cases showed negative reaction with both probes. The mean age of all patients was 29 years and that of CMV positive patients was 27 years and that of EBV positive patients was 36 years. Organomegaly was found in 3 out of 6 CMV positive patients(l hepatomegaly, 1 splenomegaly, 1 hepatosplenomegaly), and 4 out of 5 EBV positive patients(lymphadenopathy in all 4 cases, hepatosplenomegaly in 2 cases). One of the CMV positive cases had acute myeloblastic leukemia, and two EBV positive cases had underlying malignancy(l Hodgkin's disease, 1 noHodgkin's lymphoma). Seven out of 14 HHH cases(50%) died within several months after diagnosis. Nucleic acid hybridization methods can be used for the routine examination of the association of CMV or EBV.

<P>Gallotannin (GT) is a type of tannic acid, derived from plant polyphenols, that is an agonist of plant defense mechanisms. Tannins have two types of structure; condensed tannins are a polymer of flavonoid units, while hydrolysable tannins are carbohydrates. GT is used in medical agents for its anti?viral, anti?bacterial and anti?parasitic effects. The present study investigated the effects of GT on differentiation and inflammation in rabbit articular chondrocytes. GT caused differentiation and inflammatory responses in the rabbit articular chondrocytes. GT treatment induced the expression of type ⅱ collagen and sulfated proteoglycan, as determined by western blot analysis and alcian blue staining, respectively, in a dose? and time?dependent manner. Additionally, treatment with GT increased the expression of cyclooxygenase?2 (COX?2) and the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), as determined by western blot analysis and PGE2 assay. GT was confirmed to cause phosphorylation of ERK?1/?2 and p38 kinase. Inhibition of pERK with PD98059 promoted GT?induced type ⅱ collagen expression. However, the inhibition of p38 with SB203580 suppressed GT?induced COX?2 expression and PGE2 production. In summary, the results demonstrated that GT?induced ERK?1/?2 and p38 kinase have opposite effects on differentiation and inflammation in rabbit articular chondrocytes.</P>

OBJECTIVE: To aid in defining each phase of Ménière’s disease (MD) and underlying vestibular pathophysiology by analyzing the evolving patterns of spontaneous, head-shaking (HSN), and vibration-induced nystagmus (VIN) during and between the attacks of MD. STUDY DESIGN: Retrospective case series review. METHODS: We analyzed the patterns of HSN and VIN during 123 attacks from 87 patients who had definite unilateral MD and underwent recording of eye movements both during and between the attacks using video-oculography. RESULTS: HSN tended to beat toward the lesion side during the irritative phase (80.0%) and toward the healthy side during the paretic phase (82.9%). In contrast, VIN was more commonly induced during the irritative phase (63.7%) and more likely beat toward the healthy side irrespective of the phases evaluated (84.3%). Directional dissociation may occur between HSN and VIN, especially during the irritative phase when HSN mostly beat to the lesion side, but VIN is toward the healthy side. CONCLUSION: The characteristic patterns of HSN and VIN during each phase of MD would aid in defining the acute phases of MD and understanding the underlying vestibular pathophysiology.

<P>We investigated blue fluorescent organic light-emitting diode (OLED) with a charge control layer (CCL) to produce high efficiency and improve the half-decay lifetime. Three types of devices (device A, B, and C) were fabricated following the number of CCLs within the emitting layer (EML), maintaining the thickness of whole EML. The CCL and host material, 2-methyl-9,10-di(2-naphthyl)anthracene, which has a bipolar property, was able to control the carrier movement with ease inside the EML. Device B demonstrated a maximum luminous efficiency (LE) and external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 9.19 cd/A and 5.78%, respectively. It also showed that the enhancement of the half-decay lifetime, measured at an initial luminance of 1,000 cd/m2, was 1.5 times longer than that of the conventional structure. A hybrid white OLED (WOLED) was also fabricated using a phosphorescent red emitter, bis(2-phenylquinoline)-acetylacetonate iridium III doped in 4,4'-N,N'-dicarbazolyl-biphenyl. The property of the hybrid WOLED with CCL showed a maximum LE and an EQE of 13.46 cd/A and 8.32%, respectively. It also showed white emission with Commission International de L'?clairage coordinates of (x = 0.41, y = 0.33) at 10 V.</P>
