        The vacuum cleaner motor runs on very high speed for the suction power. Specially, the motive power is provided by the impeller being rotate on very high speed. And centrifugal fan consists of the impeller, the diffuser, and the circular casing. Due to the high rotating speed of the impeller and small gap distance between the impeller and diffuser, the centrifugal fan makes very high noise level at BPF and harmonic frequencies. In order to calculate the sound pressure of centrifugal fan, the unsteady flow data is needed. And Noise cause is dividing to fluid noise by exhaust flow of fan and vibration noise by rotational vibration of vacuum cleaner fan motor. Until now, measuring method has been used to measure vibration by the accelerometer; this method has been not measured for the vibration in some parts of brush and commutator because of motor construction and 3-D vibrating mode. This paper was purposed on the accurate analysis, using laser vibration analyzer, By using this measured data of noise cause against the difficult part in old times, we would like to use for the design of silent fan motor.

        가족 내 사회적 자본을 통한 학부모의 교육열 탐구

        이 글에서는 Coleman(1988)이 개념화한 사회적 자본의 개념을 통해 우리 나라 학부모의 교육열을 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 학부모-자녀간의 신뢰(trust), 사회 망(social network), 기대 및 규범(norms)이라는 세 가지 관점에 따라서 학부모의 교육열을 분석하였다. 연구결과 학부모-자녀 간에 바람직한 신뢰 관계 형성이 필요하며, 계층에 따른 교육양상에서 학부모들의 자녀 교육 지원에 대한 사회 망은 철저하리 만큼 계층간에 서로 배제적이고, 차별적인 경향이 형성되는 것을 엿볼 수 있다. 학부모의 자녀에 대한 기대와 규범이 자녀의 실제 학업성취에 긍정적 영향을 주기도 하지만, 전혀 영향을 주지 않거나 오히려 부정적인 영향을 줄 수도 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 그리하여, 한국 사회의 교육열 정상화를 위하여 몇 가지 제언을 제시하였다. 이를 통하여 사회적 자본 개념이 한국 사회의 교육열 현상을 분석하는데 유용한 하나의 이론적 개념 틀(frame of reference)로서 자리 매김 하기를 바래본다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the parent's education fever by social capital in family. In order to see the parent's education fever, Coleman's social capital concept(trust, social network, and norms) was accepted. Social capital is measured by the density of the interaction among parents, children and school. Within the family, social capital is measured by the amount of positive parent-child interaction. Social capital model clearly provides a powerful explanation for social capital's effect on the parent's education fever. From the results of education fever study, the followings were proposed; First, parents' education fever needs not to be instrumental education fever for success but intrinsic education fever for all-round personality. Second, parents' education fever needs to be changed from selfish education fever for only my children welfare to altruist education fever for all man. Third, the structure of education which widely dispersed competing system needs to be changed. The tracking system in middle school level needs to be necessary. Fourth, in order to reduce the waste of education, it is necessary that the gap of compensation between winner and loser needs to be gradually decreased. In competing system, the fair rule which was accepted by all should be considered.

        초등학생을 대상으로 한 사상인 성격의 설문분석

        1. Objectives The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics about the Sasang constitution of elementary school students based on the questions that have significant differences. 2. Methods 146 children who have visited Kang-Nam Kyung-Hee Oriental Hospital Sasang constitution center from Mar. 2003 to May. 2005, were investigated through the questionnaires. These have the categories of personality and emotional characteristics, personal relationship, playing and the way to handle things such as jobs or missions, behavioral characteristics, and etc., were analyzed statistically. 3. Results and Conclusions (1) In the category of the 'Personality and Emotional characteristics', significantly more Soeumin showed positive answers to the question, 'being easily nervous and get irritated' than the other groups, and significantly more Taeumin to the question, 'considerate and thoughtful' than Soyangin. (2) In the category of the 'Personal relationship', there were significantly more Soyangin who showed positive answer to the question 'making a friend easily' than the other groups. (3) In the category of the 'playing and the way to handle things', significantly more Soeumin showed positive answer to the question, 'love to do the exercise' than Soyangin, and significantly more Soeumin showed positive answer to the question, 'not careful and meticulous' than Soyangin, and significantly more Soeumin showed positive answer to the question, 'like to read books' than Taeumin. (4) In the category of the 'Behavioral characteristics', significantly more Soyangin showed positive answer to the question, 'unable to concentrate just one thing even for just a minute and keep on moving.' than the other groups, and significantly more Soyangin showed positive answer to the question, 'act or response quick.' than Taeumin, and significantly more Soyangin showed positive answer to the question, 'behave and go around restlessly and flighty' than Soeumin, and significantly more Taeumin showed the positive answer to the question, 'hate to move by oneself' than Soyangin.

        초등학생을 대상으로 한 사상인 외형과 식습관의 설문분석

        1. (3) In the category of 'Eating Habit', significantly more Soeumin, Soyangin answered positively to 'eating little food(light eating)' than Taeumin, and more Taeumin showed positive answer to 'a lot of food uptake' than the other groups, and significantly more Soeumin to 'eating slowly' than Taeumin, in contrast, significantly more Taeumin showed positive answer to 'eating food in haste and hurry' than the Soeumin, and significantly more Soeumin showed positive answer to the question, 'unwillingness to eat vegetable' than Soyangin, and significantly more Soeumin showed that to the question, 'unbalanced diet' than the other groups, significantly more Taeumin showed positive answer to 'preference for fatty food' than the other groups.

        <P>We determined the interatomic potentials of the Li-[PS<SUB>4</SUB><SUP>3-</SUP>] building block in (Li<SUB>2</SUB>S)<SUB>0.75</SUB>(P<SUB>2</SUB>S<SUB>5</SUB>)<SUB>0.25</SUB> (LPS) and predicted the Li-ion conductivity (σ<SUB>Li</SUB>) of glass-ceramic LPS from molecular dynamics. The Li-ion conduction characteristics in the crystalline/interfacial/glassy structure were decomposed by considering the structural ordering differences. The superior σ<SUB>Li</SUB> of the glassy LPS could be attributed to the fact that ∼40% of its structure consists of the short-ranged cubic S-sublattice instead of the hexagonally close-packed γ-phase. This glassy LPS has a σ<SUB>Li</SUB> of 4.08 × 10<SUP>-1</SUP> mS cm<SUP>-1</SUP>, an improvement of ∼100 times relative to that of the γ-phase, which is in agreement with the experiments.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

        Effects of Ranolazine on Norepinephrine-Induced Cell Death by Inhibition of the β-adrenoceptor Signal Pathway in Cardiomyocytes

        Ranolazine blocks the intracellular sodium and calcium overload accompanying myocardial ischemia and is used in antianginal therapy. The effects of ranolazine on the β-adrenoceptor signal transduction system are poorly understood. The present study was designed to confirm whether the mechanism was associated with a β-adrenoceptor antagonist activity of ranolazine on norepinephrine (NE)-induced cardiomyocytes. After cardiomyocytes were preincubated with propranolol and ranolazine, cells were treated with NE for 24 hours. The phosphorylation of ERK was decreased by ranolazine treatment, in comparison with NE-only treated cells. Intracellular Ca2+and Na+ levels decreased by 40±3% and 17±0.5%, respectively, compared to control. Ranolazine decreased expression of Ca2+/ calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) by 57±4%, the Na+-Ca2+exchanger (NCX) by 21±0.5%, and the ryanodine receptor 2 (RyR2) by 47±1.5%, compared with NE-only treated control cells. Ranolazine also increased expression of the L-type Ca2+channel (LTCC) by 48±3.5%, phospholamban (PLB) levels by 45±2%, and the sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ATPase 2a (SERCA2a) by 36±0.5%, compared to levels in NE-only stimulated cells. The number of annexin V/PI-positive cells fell by 39±1.5% after ranolazine treatment, compared with levels in NE-only treated control cells. Ranolazine also inhibited apoptosis by regulating the levels of the pro-apoptotic factor Bax, the anti-apoptotic factor Bcl-2, and cytochrome C release. These results demonstrate that ranolazine had an effect on NE-induced cell death through inhibition of the β-adrenoceptor signal pathway in cardiomyocytes.

        지구관측위성의 블레이드형 광학탑재체 지지구조물 설계

        본 논문은 강성 요구조건과 열지향오차 요구조건을 만족하는 지구관측위성의 블레이드형 광학탑재체 지지구조물 개발에 대한 연구이다. 먼저 형상 요구조건을 만족하는 광학탑재체 지지구조물을 설계하였으나, 강성 요구조건을 만족하지 못하여 광학탑재체 지지구조물의 외부와 내부에 보강재를 추가하여 이를 해결하였다. 그러나, 열지향오차 요구조건을 만족시키지 못하여, 플랫폼 지지 구조물을 플래폼 상/하단에 모두 장착한 대칭형 구조로 설계하였다. 이 경우 이전 모델에 비해서 열지향오차가 많이 줄어들기는 하였지만 역시 열지향오차 요구조건을 만족시키지는 못하였다. 이전 설계 결과를 바탕으로 측면형 플랫폼 지지 구조물을 설계하여 강성요구조건 및 열지향오차 요구조건을 만족하는 광학탑재체 지지구조물을 최종적으로 설계하였다. 본 설계를 통해서 다음의 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 강성측면에서는 플랫폼의 면재 두께 증가나 보강재 추가 그리고 블레이드의 개수를 늘려서 강성을 증가시킬 수 있었다. 열지향오차측면에서는 가능한 같은 재료를 가진 구성품들을 서로 결합시키고, 광학탑재체 지지구조물을 대칭형 구조물로 설계함으로써 열지향오차를 감소시킬 수 있었다. This paper is a study on the blade-type optical bench satisfying stiffness and thermal pointing error requirements for earth observation satellite. According to shape requirements, optical bench is designed. Because it does not satisfy the stiffness requirement, the stiffener is added on the outer/inner area of optical bench. But it does not meet the thermal pointing error requirement. So symmetrical structure is suggested with platform support structure attached on the upper/lower part of platform. Although it has better value than previous case, it still does not meet the thermal pointing error requirement. Based on the results of prior cases, optical bench finally designed, which satisfied both the stiffness and thermal pointing error requirements. Next conclusions follow from this design. It is efficient to increase thickness of platform facesheet, add stiffener and increase blade number to raise stiffness. It is effective to connect component consisting of same material and design optical bench having symmetrical structure to lower thermal pointing error.

        <P>The present study reports the results of a genome-wide SNP linkage scan for schizophrenia in the Korean population. Fifty-six multiplex schizophrenia families were analyzed. Clinical evaluations on all subjects were consistently performed by raters in a single research team. Multipoint non-parametric linkage analysis was performed, and empirical simulations were generated to determine genome-wide significance. The authors found genome-widely significant evidence of linkage for schizophrenia to chromosomes 2p24.3 (NPL Z = 3.18) and 6q27 (NPL Z = 2.90). Six other chromosomal regions, that is, 3q24, 13q12.3, 18q22.3, 20p12.2, 4p14, and 1p36.12, yielded NPL Z scores of above 2.0 for either broad or narrow phenotype classes. Although linkage to these loci has not received prominent attention in studies on Caucasian families, multiple overlaps were observed between our loci (on 2p, 3q, and 13q) and linkage peaks generated from extended families in various isolated populations. Fine mappings and the detection of candidate genes within these regions are warranted. © 2008 Wiley-Liss, Inc.</P>
