An Epidemic Model of Information Dissemination in Mobile Social Networks
Wang Weiguo,Chu Chen,Liu Jinzhuo,Li Tairan 보안공학연구지원센터(IJUNESST) 2015 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.8 No.1
In this paper, we propose a new model for information dissemination in mobile social networks. The dynamic equation of information dissemination is modified. Moreover, we investigate numerically the behavior of the model on a real scale-free social site with the exponent γ =1.08. We find that initial spreaders with big out-degree of can accelerate information dissemination, and the nodes with large in-degree would be easier to be a spreader or to become to stiflers.
Investigation on Preparation of Ge Quantum Dots in $SiO_2$ Thin Films
Chen, Jing,Wu, Xuemei,Jin, Zongming,Yao, Weiguo The Korean Vacuum Society 1998 Applied Science and Convergence Technology Vol.7 No.1
Ge quantum dots in $SiO_2$ thin films were prepared by r.f. magnetron co-sputtering using a Ge, $SiO_2$ composite target. The size of quantum dots was modulated by controlling of substrate temperature during depositing and annealing of samples deposited at certain substrate temperature. A series of work was done on the influence of preparing parameters on the growth of quantum dots, and a discussion on the formation and growth of quantum dots under different preparation parameters is given.
NEW BOUNDS FOR PERRON ROOT OF A NONNEGATIVE MATRIX
Chen, Jinhai,Li, Weiguo 한국전산응용수학회 2007 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.23 No.1
In this paper, we obtain some new bounds for Perron root of a nonnegative matrix, which are expressed by easily calculated function in element of matrix. These new results generalize and improve the bounds of G. Frobenius [1] and H. Minc [2], and also extend the known results by Liu [6].
Role of Tie Strength in Information Dissemination in Mobile Social Networks
Wang Weiguo,Chu Chen,Liu Jinzhuo,Li Tairan 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.8 No.3
In this paper, we propose a new model for information dissemination in mobile social networks, in which the infectious probability is defined as a function of the homogeneity and heterogeneity between nodes. Moreover, we investigate numerically the behavior of the model on a real scale-free social site with the exponent γ =1.08. We find that weak ties between nodes play an important role in information dissemination process. Specially, selecting weak ties preferentially can make information spread faster and wider, and the efficiency of diffusion will be greatly affected after removing them.

Emergy analysis-based study of the sustainable development of Kunming’s urban eco-economic system

We studied Kunming’s urban eco-economic system’s evolution from 2009 to 2018, using the emergy theory and method; with the entropy evaluation method, we analyzed the system’s natural, social and economic subsystems to know its sustainable development capacity. The results show that the system’s emergy structure has clearly improved, and its renewable resources’ emergy has been rationally employed. The environment load ratio, after reaching its peak in 2011, has been decreasing, and the environment stress has becoming lower year by year, as is conducive to sustainable development. Its eco-economic system, however, is highly dependent on the internal resources; its emergy self-sufficiency ratio indicates that it does not see sufficient utilization of imported emergy and feels excessive stress on its internal resources. It witnesses relatively high emergy intensity. The current population is about twice of its renewable resources’ population carrying capacity, and its dramatically growing population is presenting even high pressure on its social subsystems. This indicates that the living standard per capita in Kunming is lower than the national average. All of these factors will hinder the sustainable development of Kunming’s urban eco-economic system. Our analysis of attribute classification shows that it is more appropriate to calculate the tourist revenue by taking into account export emergy. At the same time, the analysis results of sustainable development emergy indexes obtained by ESI, EISD, euehi, euehi’ and entropy method are compared, which shows that the entropy method is able to better reflect the dynamic changes of the sustainable development capacity of its urban eco-economic system because it introduces all indicators of social, economic and natural subsystems for evaluation. In a word, sustainable development capacity represents the outcome of tradeoff and coordination of the three subsystems of society, economy and nature, and we can formulate corresponding strategies based on the above research findings.

Pd and carbon nanotube (CNT) composites were prepared by well-dispersed deposition of Pd nanoparticles on commercial CNT, and applied to the selective hydrogenation of benzoic acid (BA) to synthesize cyclohexane carboxylic acid (CCA). The catalysts and the hydrogenation products were analyzed by XRD, TEM, TG, FTIR, UV-Vis absorption, GC and GC-MS, respectively. Hydrogenation process was also optimized through varying the reaction parameters. The results demonstrate that Pd/CNT catalysts possess the highest hydrogenation efficiency, give the full conversion of BA and 100.0% selectivity towards CCA at the optimal hydrogenation conditions, by comparing with some commercial hydrogenation catalysts and Pd/C catalysts with commercial carbonaceous supports. The excellent hydrogenation performance of Pd/CNT is attributed to the stable crystalline CNT support and the high dispersion of Pd nanoparticles. In addition, the protic solvent is also beneficial to lower the activation energy barrier of BA hydrogenation, and further to improve the hydrogenation rate. This work implies that CNT can be potentially chosen as an effective carbonaceous support to prepare Pd/C catalyst with an outstanding performance of BA selective hydrogenation.

Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the aberrance of histone H3 lysine 4 trimethylation (H3K4me3) in patients with IgA Nephropathy (IgAN). Materials and Methods: In this study, H3K4me3 variations in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from 15 IgAN patients and 15 healthy subjects were analyzed using chromatin immunoprecipitation linked to microarrays analysis (ChIP-chip). ChIP real-time PCR was used to validate the microarray results. Expression analysis by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) revealed correlations between mRNA and H3K4me3 levels. DNA methylation status was analyzed by quantitative methylation-specific PCR. Results: We found that 321 probes displayed significant H3K4me3 differences in IgAN patients compared with healthy controls. Among these probes, 154 probes displayed increased H3K4me3and 167 probes demonstrated decreased H3K4me3. For further validation, we selected 4 key relevant genes (FCRL4, GALK2, PTPRN2 and IL1RAPL1) to study. The results of ChIP real-time PCR coincided well with the microarray data. Quantitative RT-PCR revealed the correlations between the mRNA expression and the methylation levels of H3K4me3. Different degrees of DNA methylation alterations appeared on the selected positive genes. Conclusion: Our studies indicated that there were significant alterations in H3K4me3 in IgAN patients. These findings may help to explain the disturbed immunity and abnormal glycosylation involved in IgAN patients.
