Wataru Kitagawa,Kohei Mitani,Yuki Kawamura,Takaharu Takeshita 전력전자학회 2019 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.2019 No.5
This paper presents method for deriving equivalent circuit of conducted noise occurred by the switching on isolated AC/DC converter. The simulation of the disturbance voltage is executed by using derived equivalent circuit. By confirming that the simulation results agree with the measurement results, the availability of proposed method is verified. The EMI filters are modeled by RLC circuit. By inserting the model, the simulation of the disturbance voltage is executed. By confirming that the simulation result agrees with the measurement result, the validity of equivalent circuit parameters is verified. In addition, the EMI filter is designed by the simulation result. The experiment with the EMI filter is executed. The noise level with the EMI filter are within the limit value (CISPR11) in all frequency ranges.

The bluegill sunfish (Lepomis macrochirus) is a notorious exotic fish, which causes serious damages to freshwater ecosystems in the world. Therefore, it is a matter of urgency to control this species for the conservation of ecosystem. New microsatellite loci were developed for L. macrochirus using high throughput 454 GS-FLX+ pyrosequencing. We selected 24 primer pairs that were tested on 47 individuals from Lake Biwa, which encompasses the oldest and largest population of L. macrochirus in Japan. Allele per locus varied 2–17. Expected and observed heterozygosities ranged from 0.185 to 0.888 and 0.120 to 0.872, respectively. Applied to L. macrochirus in Lake Biwa, these markers could detect genetic differentiation among populations, which showed a pattern of isolation by distance. These markers are expected to be useful in the estimation of population structure and ecology of L. macrochirus.

This paper provides theoretical, numerical, and experimental comparisons in electrical-drive performance between a double-star chopper-cells (DSCC) inverter and a triplestar bridge-cells (TSBC) converter. The inverter and converter are two of the most promising members of the modular multilevel cascade converter (MMCC) family. Two sets of downscaled electrical drives using the DSCC inverter and the TSBC converter are designed, constructed, and tested, along with the common three-phase four-pole induction motor rated at 380 V, 15 kW, and 50 Hz. This paper presents experimental waveforms of the electrical drives loaded with a quadratic torque-to-speed profile and at the rated torque.
Modeling for Conducted Noise Simulation Considering Switching Characteristics on AC/DC Converter
Kazuki Kuwana,Yuki Kawamura,Wataru Kitagawa,Takaharu takeshita 전력전자학회 2019 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.2019 No.5
This paper describes the modeling method to simulate conducted noises on isolated AC/DC converter using SiC devices. The equivalent circuit in simulation is calculated from measurement of leakage current. The modeling circuits of simulation are constituted RLC circuits and step voltage sources. This paper mentions higher precision modeling circuit considering switching characteristics which is voltage fraction time of switching.

The characteristic muonic X-ray measuring system for low pressure gas sample was constructed to investigate the initial process of muonic atom formation. Low background characteristic muonic X-ray spectra were obtained for neon (1.0 bar) and nitrogen mono-oxide samples (0.99 bar) by muon irradiation with 19 MeV/c. The deviation of characteristic muonic X-ray intensity patterns both for muonic nitrogen and oxygen atoms in nitrogen mono-oxide sample between our low pressure experiment and the previous high pressure experiment was found. Muon capture probability was also determined and compared with the previous work and empirical estimations.
