Recently due to natural disasters, the world is facing huge ecological, social, economic, and loss of precious lives. Traditionally during natural disasters, emergency response teams are physically visiting different areas to inspect and stop their further damages. Therefore, the existing monitoring system is facing issues such as human accessibility and unable to analyze disaster in real-time. To address these issues, we propose a machine learning inspired framework for automatically recognized disaster scenes that contains three main steps. In the first step preprocessing is applied for condense and normalize the image dimension. Next, histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) descriptor is utilize to extract discriminative features and extracted features are classified through SVM. Finally in testing step, in case of disaster scenes our system trigger notification to nearby disaster management centers to take an appropriate action. We provide comprehensive experiments on various machine learning approaches among them we obtain 64% accuracy on HOG with SVM.
Mark sequences in tripartite multidigraphs

A tripartite r-digraph is an orientation of a tripartite multigraph that is without loops and contains atmost r edges between any pair of vertices from distinct parts. In this paper, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for sequences of non-negative integers in non-decreasing order to be the sequences of numbers, called marks (or r-scores), attached to the vertices of a tripartite r-digraph. A tripartite $\gamma$-digraph is an orientation of a tripartite multigraph that is without loops and contains at most $\gamma$ edges between any pair of vertices from distinct parts. In this paper, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for sequences of non-negative integers in non-decreasing order to be the sequences of numbers, called marks (or $\gamma$-scores), attached to the vertices of a tripartite $\gamma$-digraph.
GENERALIZED DOMINOES TILING'S MARKOV CHAIN MIXES FAST

A generalized tiling is defined as a generalization of the properties of tiling a region of Z^2 with dominoes, and comprises tiling with rhombus and any other tilings that admits height functions which can be ordered into a distributive lattice. By using properties of the distributive lattice, we prove that the Markov chain consisting of moving from one height function to the next by a flip is fast mixing and the mixing time τ(ε) is given by τ(ε)≤(kmn)^3 (mn ln k + ln ε^-1 ), where mn is the area of the grid Γ that is a k-regular polycell. This result generalizes the result of the authors (T-tetromino tiling Markov chain is fast mixing, Theor. Comp. Sci. (2018)) and improves on the mixing time obtained by using coupling arguments by N. Destainville and by M. Luby, D. Randall, A. Sinclair.

A generalized tiling is defined as a generalization of the properties of tiling a region of ${\mathbb{Z}}^2$ with dominoes, and comprises tiling with rhombus and any other tilings that admits height functions which can be ordered into a distributive lattice. By using properties of the distributive lattice, we prove that the Markov chain consisting of moving from one height function to the next by a flip is fast mixing and the mixing time ${\tau}({\epsilon})$ is given by ${\tau}({\epsilon}){\leq}(kmn)^3(mn\;{\ln}\;k+{\ln}\;{\epsilon}^{-1})$, where mn is the area of the grid ${\Gamma}$ that is a k-regular polycell. Nowadays, energy management and its optimization using smart devices are getting more attention due to their significant applications. Moreover, the applications used in these devices play a key role in developing smart cities that is only the way to solve urban problems. The potential of renewable energy sources like solar and wind power has been integrated in the smart grids to overcome the lack of supply via conventional fossil fuels and their environmental disputes that reduce operational cost. This review paper describes the significance of renewable power data that directly assists all the functions in smart cities such as the evolution of microgrids, renewable resources, energy forecasting, and power storage technologies. Furthermore, solar and wind power plants’ data with weather information as an additional cue is collected from different companies in South Korea. We aim to assist the researchers to develop artificial intelligence (AI)-based algorithms for power forecasting and establish its efficient management between suppliers and consumers.
Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Activities of Mycelia of 10 Wild Mushroom Species

Antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of mycelia obtained from 10 wild edible mushrooms—Armillaria mellea, Meripilus giganteus, Morchella costata, Morchella elata, Morchella esculenta var. vulgaris, Morchella hortensis, Morchella rotunda, Paxillus involutus, Pleurotus eryngii, and Pleurotus ostreatus—were investigated. For determination of antimicrobial activities of these mushrooms, ethanol extracts were examined with 11 test microorganisms by the agar well diffusion method. P. ostreatus and M. giganteus were the most active species against both bacteria and yeast. Antioxidant properties of ethanol extracts were studied by the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl free radical scavenging method. Among the mushroom extracts, M. elata showed the most potent radical scavenging activity. This research has shown that these 10 wild macrofungi have potential as natural antioxidants and antibiotics.
