We propose a cosmological survey to probe star formation and nuclear activityin galaxies at redshifts of z = 2 - 4 by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon(PAH) features usingthe SPICA mid-infrared instrument (SMI)with a spectral resolution of R = 20. We will cover a wavelength range of 20-36 μmthat corresponds to z = 2 - 4 for the PAH features(11.3, 7.7, and 6.2 μm). The sensitivity will be $1\times10^{-19}$ W/m$^2$ (5 $\sigma$)in case of a referencesurvey that covers 4 arcmin$^2$ field in a one-hour observation. It corresponds to L$_{\rm IR}$=$2\times10^{11}$ $L_\odot$ at z=3and will give us more than 10000 galaxies in a 450 hour survey.

<P>By using homochiral mesoporous POST-1 (Scheme 1) as an inherently chiral sensitizing host, supramolecular enantiodifferentiating photoisomerizations of (Z)-cyclooctene (1Z) were performed for the first time to examine the sensitizing ability of the chiral nanopores, walls of which are decorated with pyridine chromophore. The homochiral nanopores of POST-1 crystals were demonstrated to function as an effective chiral-sensitizing cavity to give the optically active (E)-isomer 1E in up to 5% enantiomeric excess (ee), thus expanding the scope of porous material-mediated chirogenesis to both ground and excited electronic states. IMPROVEMENT OF AKARI NEP-DEEP 2-24 MICRON IMAGES/CATALOGUES WITH NEW CALIBRATIONS
Murata, Kazumi,Matsuhara, Hideo,Takagi, Toshinobu,Wada, Takehiko,Oyabu, Shinki,Oi, Nagisa The Korean Astronomical Society 2012 天文學論叢 Vol.27 No.4
We have created new catalogues of AKARI/IRC $2-24{\mu}m$ North Ecliptic Pole Deep survey through new methods of image analysis. In the new catalogues the number of false detection decreased by a factor of 10 and the number of objects detected in multiple bands increased by more than 1,500 compared to the previous work. In this proceedings the new methods of image analysis and the performance of the new catalogues are described.
THE DIFFUSE NEAR-INFRARED BACKGROUND SPECTRUM FROM AKARI
Tsumura Kohji,Matsumoto Toshio,Matsuura Shuji,Sakon Itsuki,Wada Takehiko 한국천문학회 2017 天文學論叢 Vol.32 No.1
We analyzed spectral data of the astrophysical diffuse emission obtained with the low-resolution spectroscopy mode on the AKARI InfraRed Camera (IRC) in the 1.8-5.3 μm wavelength region. Advanced reduction methods specialized for slit spectroscopy of diffuse sky spectra have been developed, and a catalog of 278 spectra of the diffuse sky covering a wide range of Galactic and ecliptic latitudes was constructed. Using this catalog, two other major foreground components, the zodiacal light (ZL) and the diffuse Galactic light (DGL),were separated and subtracted by taking correlations with ZL brightness estimated by the DIRBE ZL model and with the 100 μm dust thermal emission, respectively. The isotropic emission was interpreted as the extragalactic background light (EBL), which shows significant excess over the integrated light of galaxies at < 4 μm.
DETECTION OF Hα EMISSION FROM z>3.5 GALAXIES WITH AKARI-FUHYU NIR SPECTROSCOPY
Sedgwick, Chris,Serjeant, Stephen,Pearson, Chris,Takagi, Toshinobu,Matsuhara, Hideo,Wada, Takehiko,Lee, Hyung Mok,Im, Myungshin,Jeong, Woong-Seob,Oyabu, Shinki,White, Glenn J. The Korean Astronomical Society 2012 天文學論叢 Vol.27 No.4
This paper presents $H{\alpha}$ emission line detections for four galaxies at z > 3.5 made with AKARI as part of the FUHYU mission program. These are the highest-redshift $H{\alpha}$ detections to date in star-forming galaxies. AKARI's unique near-infrared spectroscopic capability has made these detections possible. For two of these galaxies, this represents the first evidence of their redshifts and confirms their physical association with a companion radio galaxy. The star formation rates (SFRs) estimated from the $H{\alpha}$ lines under-predict the SFRs estimated from their far-infrared luminosities by a factor of ~ 2 - 3. We have also detected broad $H{\alpha}$ components in the two radio galaxies which indicate the presence of quasars.
