본고에서는 고려~조선시대 분묘 출토 철도자와 『高麗史, 朝鮮王朝實錄』 등 문헌에서 확인되는 관련기사를 중점적으로 검토하여, 당시 철도자의 특징과 변천, 문화양상에 대해 다방면으로 살펴보았다. 이 시기 철도자의 특징으로는 直角關과 直刀의 등장, 형태의 다양성 등이 있다. 이처럼 형태가 다양해지는 이유로는 용도나 기능에 따라 더욱 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 것으로 보인다. 피장자의 허리부근에서 가장 많이 확인되며, 묘제에 따라 부장공간이나 벽감 등에서 출토되는 사례도 있다. 전반적으로 이전시기에 비해 수량이 급격히 줄어드는 양상을 보이고 있다. 大神刀는 거울, 꽹과리 등과 함께 출토되어 당시 무당이 사용한 물품을 가늠할 수 있다. 중세의 문헌에서 ‘刀子’와 관련된 기사는 다양한 행사나 사건에서 등장하고 있는데, 특히 외교와 관련된 기록이 많다. 이 외에 신하에게 하사, 도자의 제작과 규범, 장식도자의 패용 제재 등의 내용도 확인된다. 문헌에서 약 50종의 도자가 확인되고 있으며, 형태와 용도, 신분 등에 따라 다양하게 제작·사용한 것으로 추정된다. 鐵刀子는 조선시대에 이르러 점차 실용적인 鐵刀子와 장신구적인 성격이 강한 粧刀로 구분되어 발달했다. 장도는 크게 乙字形粧刀와 籤子刀로 크게 구분할 수 있으며, 칼집과 손잡이는 다양한 재질로 꾸며진다. 장도 중 일부는 도신을 목제로 제작하거나 칼을 고의적으로 뽑을 수 없도록 만드는 등 점차 칼로써의 기능이 줄어드는 양상이 확인된다. The expression that we commonly use ‘Silver knife’ is the abbreviation of ‘Silver made and decorated knife’, which succeeds decorative knife. In Choseon period, knives can be roughly categorized into Z shaped knife and Stick attached knife that made of various materials. With these decorative knives, iron knife also be excavated which have similar shape that made in earlier era. So we need comparison of these two knives. This study is about iron knife and decorative knives in United Silla period to Choseon period. By analysing knives’s information that can be extracted in ancient data, Goryosa, King of Choseon’s history book, We will figure out knives’s morphological change and characteristics. Characteristic of Medieval iron knives is vertical related and sign imprinted knife, which leads to diversify of shape. Like other relics, number of knife is also decreased like other tomb relics that is assumes to be the result of change of funeral culture and difference of economic, social position. Especially, The shaman knives are excavated with shamanism related goods such as rings and mirrors e.t.c.. So we can presumably sure about shaman’s goods of that era. In old writings A lot of decorative knife related reports are in festivals and events, that were specially related to King’s family and diplomacy. Many of the goods which are gifts for Myeong empire and ambassadors are knives. Also there is context about knife expert’s regulations of knife’s decoration that is differentiated by law and social position. In old records, there are 50 kinds of knives which is elaborately classified, manufactured and used. Reaching to the Choseon Dynasty, these kinds of iron knives are more separated into practical knives and decorative knives. Comparing with earlier age, iron knives have no big difference in shape, but standardization is decreased as knives are manufactured by the purpose of usage. Decorative knives became smaller, even some of it manufactured as someone can’t intentionally draw a sword. So it loses the function of sword. Anyone could equip knives regardless of gender, in Choseon period, there is some regulations how to equip knives.
Synergy effect for performance of anionic SDS/ADS mixtures with amphoteric and nonionic surfactants

Detergency and surface active properties of mixed anionic surfactants with amphoteric and nonionic were investigated. Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and ammonium dodecyl sulfate (ADS) as anionic surfactants and cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB) as an amphoteric surfactant were used. Nonionic surfactants, which are butyl glucoside (BG), octyl glucoside (OG), decyl glucoside (DG), lauryl dimethylamine oxide (AO) and saponin were also used. To study the synergy effects of mixed SDS/ADS anionic surfactant systems, amphoteric and nonionic surfactants were added into the mixed anionic surfactants. Investigated properties of surfactant mixtures were critical micelle concentration (CMC), surface tension (${\gamma}$), wettability. In addition, based on these properties, detergency of each sample was examined. Surfactant mixtures are anionics (SDS/ADS), anionic/amphoteric/nonionic (SDS/ADS/CAPB/saponin), and anionic/nonionic (SDS/ADS/BG/saponin, SDS/ADS/OG/saponin, SDS/ADS/DG/saponin, and SDS/ADS/AO/saponin). With the addition of amphoteric and nonionic to mixed anionic surfactants, CMC and ${\gamma}$ were decreased. Addition of CAPB, which is amphoteric, showed the best property at CMC and ${\gamma}$. Furthermore, as the chain length of hydrocarbon in alkyl glucosides was increased, the CMC and ${\gamma}$ were enhanced. However, the wettability did not exactly match up with CMC and ${\gamma}$. The surfactant mixture, which contained DG, showed the best performance at wetting time. Detergency was measured at various temperatures ($15^{\circ}C$, $30^{\circ}C$, $50^{\circ}C$). The cleaning performance was enhanced by increasing washing temperature. Moreover, detergency was influenced by not only CMC and ${\gamma}$ but also wettability. Although CMC and ${\gamma}$ were not minimum at surfactant mixture that included DG, the best cleaning performance showed in that sample.

A cat who is a 15-year-old and spayed female visited an animal clinic with severe coughing symptoms. Since the cat’s coughing symptoms had worsened from the age of 10 and X-rays showed a bronchial pattern in the lungs, it was diagnosed as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). She received three injections of stem cells isolated from the amniotic membrane on days 0, 7, and 23. Although there was no improvement in the clinical findings on the x-ray, the number of coughing was significantly reduced. In addition, even after long-term follow-up post treatment for a month, she was stable with almost no coughing.

<P>(<I>Z</I>)-1,8-Di(pyren-1-yl)oct-4-ene (<B>1</B>) was prepared as a probe for olefin metathesis. The conversions of substrate by olefin metathesis under various conditions were calculated using the ratiometric fluorescence intensity change of <B>1</B>. The conversions calculated by <B>1</B> and gas chromatography were consistent. These results show that conversions of olefin metathesis can be simply obtained from the fluorescence change of <B>1</B> and this method can be applied to the high-throughput screening (HTS) method for various olefin metathesis.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>
Case reports of amniotic membrane derived-cell treatment for feline chronic renal failure

Three different cats who had chronic kidney disease (CKD) were treated for more than one month with fluid therapy in an animal clinic. Although this long-term treatment and hospitalization, there was no clinical improvement in clinical signs as well as serum biochemical indexes including blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine (CREA), and phosphate (PHOS). All cases were then injected three times with allogeneic stem cells through an intravenous route for treatment on Day 0, 7, and 14 or 30. On the same day, clinical observation and blood tests for serum biochemistry were conducted together. Upon administrating stem cells to the CKD cats, clinical conditions and the indexes of BUN and CREA were clinically improved within normal ranges. Additionally, one of the cats who had the renal cysts presented clinical improvement with showing decreased cysts size than before.
