Preventive and Antioxidative Effects of Crude Drug Preparation(E-kong-san) on Cisplatin Induced Nephrotoxicity. Proceedings of International Symposium on East-West Medicine, Seoul. 201-211, 1999. -Nephroprotective effects of a crude drug-prearation (E-kong-san) were determined from cisplatin on rabbit kidney proximal tubule and human renal cortical cells by MTT assays and sustained glucose consumption on ciplatin-induced human renal cortical tissue. Levels of creatinine and blood ure nitrogen(BUN) in serum after administration of cisplatin(0.75mg/kg,i.p.) to E-kong-san(0.75g/kg/day,p.o.)-pretreated rats were markedly lower compared to those of cisplatin-treated rats. Moreover, the administration of E-kong-san significantly inhibited the loss of body weight of cisplatin injected rts. These findings suggest that E-kong-san on the cisplatin induced nephrotoxicity led us to investigate whether the effect of this water extract was a result of anti-oxidation. E-kong-san showed strong free radical scavenger activities on 1,1-dipheny1-2picrylhydrazil(DPPH) radical and xanthine/xanthine oxidase(XOD) generated superoxide anion radical(O2-). We further studied the effects of E-kong-san on lipid peroxidation in rat liver microsomes induced by enzymatic and nonenzymatic methods. E-kong-san exhibited significant inhibition on both ascorbic acid/Fe2+and ADP/NADPH/Fe3+ induced lipid peroxidation in rat liver microsomes. Based on these results, we suggest that-E-kong-san attenuate the cisplatin induced cytotoxicity and its mechanism can be eplained by antioxidant.

      • 퍼지 GMDH 알고리즘과 폐수처리 공정 시스템에의 응용

        본 논문에서는 GMDH(Group Method of Data Handling) 알고리즘을 이용하여 퍼지 모델의 구조와 파라미터를 설정하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 퍼지 함의 규칙의 전건부 구조와 파라미터를 동정하기 위해 GMDH 알고리즘과 퍼지 추론을 사용하였고 최적의 후건부 파라미터를 동정하기 위해 최소 자승법을 사용하였다. 제안된 모델링 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위해서 가스로 시계열 데이터와 하수처리 데이터를 사용하였다. 제안된 방법을 사용하면 다른 모델에 비해 우수한 성능을 가진 지능 모델을 얻을수 있다. The Proposed fuzzy modeling implements system structure and parameter identification using the GMDH(Group Method of Data Handling) Algorithm. In this method, We use the GMDH algorithm and fuzzy inference to identify the premise structure and parameter of fuzzy implication rules and least square method to identify optimum consequence parameter. Time seris data for gas furnace and wastewatertreatment data are used for purpose of evaluating the performance of the proposed fuzzy.

      • Walsh-Fourier변환을 사용한 PWM인버어터의 새로운 고조파 제거방법에 관한 연구

        The thesis presents the problem of new harmonic elimination method of P\V\i inverter f d induction motor system using walsh series. In other words, this thesis presented technique of the selective harmonics elimination (SHE) by W-FT series in three phase PWM inverter output waveform. A microprocessor(8086 CPC)-controlled three phase induction motor system in order to verify this algorithm is presented. It is designed for a three output voltage in the 1∼60Hz inverter with the 5th and 7th harmonics, 5th, 7th, 11th, and 13th harmonics eliminated, and with the fundamental wave amplitude proportional to the output frequency. As the results, the performance of the proposed method could eliminate the harmonics and reduce computation time which determines switching pattern. In inverters, dead time circuits are inserted in the switching signals to prevent the dc link shortage. This causes the "dead-time effect", the fundamental voltage drop and the generation of low order harmonics, this thesis is deals with quantative prediction of dead-time effect and its compensation in PWM inverters. The performance of the compensation circuits is conformed through the sir,.-elation and the experiment. In the future, the proposed PWM pattern by W-FT series, is effective not only to the induction but also to the other electromagnetic machine such as volta e regulator, UPS.

      • 조직공정성의 개념 및 조직시민행동과의 관계에 대한 이론적 고찰

        This study is based on the customer's satisfaction and emphasizes the high class service and the importance of personal service-quality according to the customer's visiting for the hotel accomodations located at chun-cheon city area. Service environment quality has become one of major factors in the selection of various purchase decisions, In fact, the level of a server's service quality affects the hotel firm's performance and the server's quality is emphasized not only as key determinants of the customer's satisfaction but also as complements of the server's strategic variables. This study focuses attention on the need of guests and some changes affect resort hotel companied only at an individual level. Hotel industry should be changed to promote diffusion of innovations or the spread of new ideas or hotel service products for behavioral characteristics of the consumers visiting Chun-cheon area. In addition, they should conduct occasional consumer decision surveys to monitor their standing with guests.

      • Castleman 질환 1례

        Castleman 질환은 주로 종격동 임파선을 침범하여 임상적, 조직학적으로 흉성종과 유사한 소견을 보이는 질환이다. 보통 침범된 임파선은 3cm에서 7cm의 크기를 보이며 경계가 뚜렷한 종양으로 나타난다. 조직학적 소견상 hyaline-vascular형(H-V형)과 plasma cell형의 두가지로 나눈다. 임상적으로는 hyaline-vascular형은 별증상이 없으며 보통 우연히 발견되고 드물게 기도와 기관지를 압박하는 증세를 보이기도 한다. plasma cell형은 빈혈, 적혈구침강속도의 증가, 고감마글로불린혈증, 저알부민혈증, 그리고 저트란스페린혈증을 보이기도 한다. 저자들은 생후 2개월부터 반복되는 호흡기 감염과 거친 숨소리를 보이면서, 성장 및 발육장애를 보인 14개월된 남아에서, 기도에서 우측 주기관지까지를 압박하고 있는 종양을 흉부 전산화단층촬영에서 발견하고 떼어낸 후 조직소견상 hyaline-vascular형의 giant lymph node hyperplasia의 소견을 보이는 Castleman 질환 1례를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Castleman's disease(angiofollicular lymph node hyperplasia) can arise from lymph nodes or extranodal tissues and can be classified histologically into the hyaline-vascular form, characterized by hyaline follicle-like structures interspersed with vascular tissue, or the plasma cell variant, in which the follicle-like structures are seperated by sheets of plasma cells amidst vascular interfollicular tissue. The clinical manifestations of the multicentric variant can be protean and inculude fever, night sweats, weight loss, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, pleural effusion, ascites, anemia, thrombocytopenia, polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia, and neurological and renal abnormalities. We report a case of Castleman's disease in 14-month old male patient with the chief complaints of recurrent respiratory symptoms and delayed growth and development, who was diagnosed as having a hyaline-vascular form of above disease after the excision of pulmonary mass which compressed the right main bronchus.

      • 가토 전방내 혈액흡수에 미치는 Aspirin의 효과에 관한 실험적 연구

        In ocular diseases, hyphema is often experienced. Clinically there are many serious complications such as glaucoma, cataract, blood stain to cornea, etc. Recently, the author has been interested in aspirin which has inhibited action of platelet aggregation and prolongation of bleeding time when it is used systemically. But everyone don't know what influence on the absorption of the anterior chamber hemorrhages when we use it as the subconjunctival or intracameral routes. In this study, simulated anterior chamber hemorrhages were produced by intracameral injection of 0.1㏄ autogenous ^(51)Cr labeled blood through the limbus in 28 rabbits eyes. Thereafter, the author treated the rabbits with aspirin by subconjunctival (40㎎/0.2 ㏄), intracameral(20㎎/0.1㏄), and intramuscular injection (200㎎/㏄) everyday for 10 day. All experimental groups were measured and recorded the changes of radioactivity of the eyes with scintillation counter for 10 days. The final results were summarized as follows ; 1) The time required for 50% of the injected radioactivity to disappear after experimental hyphema was 18 hours in the intracameral injection group, within 48 hours in subconjunctival injection group, over 72 hours in both control and intramuscular infection groups. 2) The rates of removal of the radioactivity from the anterior chamber didn't make any difference between control and intramuscular injection groups. 3) In general, the intracameral and subconjunctival injection groups showed faster rate of absorption of blood from the anterior chamber than the other two groups.

      • 퍼지-뉴럴 네트워크에 의한 퍼지동정

        본 논문에서는 복잡한 비선형 시스템을 모델링하기 위해 퍼지-뉴럴네트워크(FNNs)를 사용한 퍼지규칙의 최적 동정 방법이 제안된다. FNNs는 역전파 알고리즘과 Sugeno의 퍼지추론 방법의 결합으로 구성된다. 퍼지규칙의 구조동정은 기존의 동정에서 반복적인 퍼지분할을 피하기 위해 퍼지 c-means클로스터링을 이용해서 수행된다. FNNs는 퍼지규칙의 전·후반부 파라미터를 동정하기 위해 사용된다. 최적 퍼지규칙을 얻기 위해, FNNs는 학습율과 모멘텀 계수가 수정된 컴플렉스법을 이용하여 자동동조 된다. 가스로 공정의 시계열 데이타는 제안된 규칙베이스 퍼지 모델리의 성능을 평가하기 위해 사용된다. 제안된 모델링 방법이 다른 논문과 비교시 더 높은 정확도를 가진 퍼지모델을 생성함을 보인다. In this paper, an optimal identification method of fuzzy rules using fuzzy neural networks(FNNs) is proposed in order to model the nonlinear complex systems. FNNs are composed by combining back-propagation algorithms and Sugeno's linear fuzzy inference method. The structure identification of fuzzy implication rules is carried out utilizing fuzzy c-means clustering in order to avoid the iterative fuzzy partition in the conventional identification and FNNs are used to identify parameters of premise and comsequence part of fuzzy implication rules. To obtain the optimal fuzzy rules, the learning ratio and momentum coefficients of FNNs are tuned automatically utilizing the modified complex method. Time series data for gas furance are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed rule-based fuzzy modeling.

      • 경량 고강도 Mg-Zn계합금의 조직과 내식성에 관한 연구

        The purpose in this study is to develope of high strength and corrosion reistant Mg-Zn system alloys by controlling microstructures and by adding of Cu elements. To produce optimum tesile strength,it is imperative to obtain effective grain refinment during casting. Optimal condition for grain size refining effect was obtained at the minmum composotion of 2wt% Cu or 1.5wt%So addition to Mg-6wt%Zn alloy.Age hardening behavior was experimented at the optimal compositions of the Mg-6wt%Zn, Mg-6wt%Zn-2wt%Cu and Mg-6wt%Zn-1.5wt%Si. The hardeness increment due to age hardening was at the Mg-Zn-Si alloy system. The improvement of corrosion resistanece by the addition with Cu is related to and increasing Zn/Cu ration in the intermatallic particles in the Mg-Zn system.Further improvements obtained by T6 treatment are related to the properties of the Mg-Zn phase,whih acts as a corrosion barrier by precipitating along the grainboundaries.Filiform corrosion observed soon after pit initiation and cellular form of pit propagation later in chloride media are explained in terms of solid solution matrix structure and the properties of air formed oxide.The information obtained from the fundamental research work is utilized in suggesting ways of improving the corrosion resistance of commercial AZ91.

      • AC Impedance法에 의한 內燃機關用 耐熱·耐蝕材料의 耐蝕性 評價

        In the study the AC Impedance Method is applied to the checking Anti-corrosion behavior of Heat and Corrosion resistance material for Internal Combustion Engine. The obtained results are as follows : 1. The results of Potentio-dynamic Polarization for the Ni base Nimonic 80A, Fe base 304 stainless and Ti base Ti-6Al-4V indicated that Ecor is -100mV, -250mV and +200mV, ?? is 0.8μA/㎠, 3.0μA/㎠ and 0.8μA/㎠, ?? is 250mV, 240mV and 1,300mV respectively. 2. the passive film resistance by AC Impedance Test for the above mentioned Materials are 135Ω, 105Ω and 145Ω respectively. 3. Compare with Potentio-dynamic Polarization resistance and AC Impedance Methods, both are exhibited very similar result for corrosion resistance but AC Impedance Methods were delivered more information of total of Passive film, phase Shift, oxygen diffusion resistance. Which means that the AC Impedance Method will be used as more useful tool for Corrosion Study than Polarization methods.
