<P>We developed highly efficient phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes (PHOLEDs) using iridium(III) complex, fac-tris[4-methyl-2-2(4'-trimethylsilylphenyl)pyridine] [Ir(msippy)3]. PHOLEDs based on Ir(msippy)3 complex exhibit the yellowish-green emission with CIE color coordinates of (0.31,0.64). These device performances were compared with those of the green emitting Ir(ppy)3-based devices. The higher external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 25.6% and the current efficiency of 84.4 cd/A were achieved for Ir(msippy)3-based device. The results show that the complete energy and/or charge transfer from the host to Ir(msippy)3 dopant in the emitting layer (EML) of the device resulted in the higher device efficiencies compared with those of Ir(ppy)3-based devices.</P>

The World Health Organization (WHO) recently endorsed the proposal for a Decade of Healthy Ageing (2020–2030). The WHO defines “healthy aging” as “the process of developing and maintaining the functional ability that enables wellbeing in older age.” Among the strategies for the Decade of Healthy Ageing, the WHO has suggested enhancing intrinsic capacity, promoting functional ability, and implementing the Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) package. The WHO has defined steps for ICOPE evaluation and scale-up and is performing a prospective study in 2–3 countries (low and middle income, high income) to test its feasibility in 2021–2022 and a multinational randomized study to validate its clinical efficacy and effectiveness in 2022–2024. Intrinsic capacity and frailty represent two faces of the same coin, with one indicating the reserves of the individual and the other indicating the deficits that accumulate with age. The Integrated Care of Older Patients with Frailty in Primary Care (ICOOP_Frail) study is the first integrated care program for frailty or functional decline in primary care in Korea. The results suggest that the ICOOP_Frail study can be utilized as a reference for ICOPE studies in Korea or at least to provide important findings for the forthcoming ICOPE implementation study in Korea.

본 연구는 신임소방공무원을 위한 정신건강교육 프로그램을 개발하고 효과성을 검증하고자 하였다. 프로그램은예비연구, 요구분석, 프로그램 모형 구안, 내용선별의 절차를 거쳐 개발되었다. 신규 임용 직원 50명을 대상으로 3일간 총 7회기로 구성하여 진행하였고, 프로그램 전과 후 참가자의 스트레스, 불안, 자기효능감을 비교분석하였다. 그리고 프로그램 종료 6개월 후 참가자 6명을 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행하여 경험적인 효과성을 조사하였다. 연구결과,프로그램 참가자들의 스트레스와 불안은 유의미하게 낮아지고, 자기효능감이 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 추후 인터뷰결과에서는 이완훈련을 가장 많이 활용하고 있으며, 같이 프로그램에 참여했던 동기들과의 심리적 지지가 업무 부담에서 오는 스트레스를 줄여주는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 신임소방공무원들의 특성을 반영하고 실제참여자의 요구와 전문가의 요구분석을 통해 과학적이고 체계적인 프로그램을 개발하였다는데 의의가 있다. The aim of this study was to develop a Mental Health Education Program for new fire officials and to verify itseffectiveness. The program was developed through a pilot study, needs analysis, model design, and content selection. It wasconducted over three days with a total of seven sessions, with fifty new fire officials participating in the program. Stress,anxiety, and self-efficacy levels among new fire officials were examined before and after the program. The results indicatedthat stress and anxiety were meaningfully reduced after completing the program, and self-efficacy was improved. Interviewsconducted with participants after program completion reported that relaxation training was usually used and thepsychological support of colleagues who also attended the program had the effect of reducing job-related stress. This studymakes a meaningful contribution through developing a program that reflects the characteristics of new fire officials. Theprogram was developed using a scientific and systematic method through needs analysis.
