The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Aromatic Essential Oil and Hong-Hwa Oil Massage on recovery from muscle fatigue. The subjects were twenty four male college students and treated Aromatic Essential Oil massage therapy, Nomral massage therapy, Hong-hwa oil Massage therapy and Non-treated group. After 15, 30 minutes, to observe changes related to physical changes during exercises from muscle fatique of recovery period, it was measured by Electromyogram during thirty minutes of recover period. Two-way repeated ANOVA was performed at the significance level of 0.05 to analyze the data. The results were as following; 1. Considering the changes of reaction time in knee joint extension after exercise, Periods of all groups showed decrease nearly the same. So each period didn't show significant decrease in comparing with other all gorups. 2. Considering the changes of EMG reaction time in knee joint extension after exercise, Each periods and all groups didn't show significant decrease. But Aromatic Essential Oil therapy group showed remarkably decrease in comparing with other group. 3. Considering the changes of peak amplitude during initial phase 100 msec in knee joint extension before and after exercise, Each periods of all groups didn't show significant decrease. Aromatic Essential Oil therapy and Hong-hwa oil massage group had show remarkably decrease in comparing with other group but it is not significant. 4. Considering the changes of mean amplitude during total phase in knee joint extension before and after exercise, Each periods of all groups showed significance decrease. And Aromatic Essential Oil massage group showed remarkably significant decrease in comparing with other groups. According to the above results, it tis considered that Aromatic Essential Oil massage can be a way to help to recover from muscle fatique.

In this study, the problem of guaranteed cost non-fragile tracking control on the omnidirectional rehabilitative training walker is examined. The nonlinear redundant input method is proposed when one wheel actuator fault occurs. The aim of the study is to design an asymptotically stable controller that can guarantee the safety of the user and ensure tracking on a training path planned by a physical therapist. The guaranteed cost control and the asymptotically zero state detectable concept of the walker are presented, and the model of redundant degree is constructed. The cost performance index is defined to restrain initial oversize input forces. On the grounds of LMI, a controller with gain variations that can satisfy asymptotic stability is obtained using a common Lyapunov function for admissible uncertainties resulting from an actuator fault. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method and verify that the walker can provide safe sequential motion when one wheel actuator is at fault.

<P><I>Vorticella</I> includes more than 100 currently recognized species and represents one of the most taxonomically challenging genera of ciliates. Molecular phylogenetic analysis of <I>Vorticella</I> has been performed so far with only sequences coding for small subunit ribosomal RNA (SSU rRNA); only a few of its species have been investigated using other genetic markers owing to a lack of similar sequences for comparison. Consequently, phylogenetic relationships within the genus remain unclear, and molecular discrimination between morphospecies is often difficult because most regions of the SSU rRNA gene are too highly conserved to be helpful. In this paper, we move molecular systematics for this group of ciliates to the infrageneric level by sequencing additional molecular markers—fast-evolving internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions—in a broad sample of 66 individual samples of 28 morphospecies of <I>Vorticella</I> collected from Asia, North America and Europe. Our phylogenies all featured two strongly supported, highly divergent, paraphyletic clades (I, II) comprising the morphologically defined genus <I>Vorticella</I>. Three major lineages made up clade I, with a relatively well-resolved branching order in each one. The marked divergence of clade II from clade I confirms that the former should be recognized as a separate taxonomic unit as indicated by SSU rRNA phylogenies. We made the first attempt to elucidate relationships between species in clade II using both morphological and multi-gene approaches, and our data supported a close relationship between some morphospecies of <I>Vorticella</I> and <I>Opisthonecta</I>, indicating that relationships between species in the clade are far more complex than would be expected from their morphology. Different patterns of helix III of ITS2 secondary structure were clearly specific to clades and subclades of <I>Vorticella</I> and, therefore, may prove useful for resolving phylogenetic relationships in other groups of ciliates.</P>

Gastric cancer is the second most common cause of cancer-related deaths in the world. Although certain dietary factors and lifestyles have been suggested to be associated with gastric carcinogenesis, there have been few investigations focusing on rural areas. A case-control study was therefore carried out to investigate the risk factors of gastric cardia cancer (GCC) in rural areas of Linzhou. A total of 470 newly diagnosed cases of GCC and 470 healthy controls were included. Face-to-face interviews were conducted, using a uniform questionnaire containing questions on demographics, per capita income, living habits, dietary habits and family history of tumors. The relationship between putative risk factors and GCC was assessed by odds ratios (OR) and their 95% confidence intervals (95%CI) derived from conditional logistic regression model by the COXREG command using SPSS 12.00. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate simultaneously the effects of multiple factors and other potential confounding factors. Multivariate logistic analysis showed that smoking (OR=1.939, 95%CI:1.097-3.426), alcohol drinking (OR=2.360, 95%CI: 1.292-4.311), hot food consumption (OR=2.034, 95%CI: 1.507-2.745), fast eating (OR=1.616, 95%CI: 1.171-2.230), mouldy food (OR=4.564, 95%CI: 2.682-7.767), leftover food (OR=1.881. 95%CI: 1.324-2.671), and family history of tumor (OR=2.831, 95%CI: 1.588-5.050) were risk factors for GCC. High per capita income (OR=0.709, 95%CI: 0.533-0.942), high education level (OR=0.354, 95%CI: 0.163-0.765), consumption of fresh fruits (OR=0.186, 95%CI: 0.111-0.311) and vegetables (OR=0.243, 95%CI: 0.142-0.415), and high BMI (OR=0.367, 95%CI: 0.242-0.557) were protective factors for GCC. Our data indicate that unhealthy lifestyle and dietary habits might be important contributors to GCC in this population.
Cross-functional conflicts, effectiveness, and innovation performance: A symbiotic approach
Ping Sun,Xiang Robert Li,Drew Martin 한국마케팅과학회 2016 마케팅과학연구 Vol.26 No.3
Although cross-functional conflicts occur among departments, empirical research on the inherent mechanism remains scant. As conflict appears to be an element in innovation, by using a symbiotic approach combining traditional Confucian values and mainstream Western theories, this study of 135 Chinese high-tech companies investigates how various cross-functional conflict types influence cross-functional effectiveness, which in turn influences innovation performance. Results show an inverted U-shaped relationship for cross-functional task conflict and a negative relationship for cross-functional relationships on crossfunctional effectiveness and innovation performance. Cross-functional effectiveness has a complementary mediation effect on the relationship between cross-functional task conflicts and innovation performance, and an indirect mediation effect on the relationship between cross-functional relationship conflicts and innovation performance. Trust moderates the relationship between cross-functional task conflict and cross-functional effectiveness, demonstrating a U-shaped relationship. Results are inconclusive about trust’s moderating effect between relationship conflict and cross-functional effectiveness. This study offers executives new guidelines for managing conflict and trust to improve their high-tech firm’s innovation climate.
EXISTENCE AND ITERATION OF MONOTONE POSITIVE SOLUTIONS FOR THIRD-ORDER THREE-POINT BVPS
Sun, Jian-Ping,Cao, Ke,Zhao, Ya-Hong,Wang, Xian-Qiang The Korean Society for Computational and Applied M 2011 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.29 No.1
This paper is concerned with the existence of monotone positive solutions for a class of nonlinear third-order three-point boundary value problem. By applying iterative techniques, we not only obtain the existence of monotone positive solutions, but also establish iterative schemes for approximating the solutions. An example is also included to illustrate the importance of the results obtained.
POSITIVE SOLUTION FOR FOURTH-ORDER FOUR-POINT STURM-LIOUVILLE BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM
Sun, Jian-Ping,Wang, Xiao-Yun The Korean Society for Computational and Applied M 2010 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.28 No.3
This paper is concerned with the following fourth-order four-point Sturm-Liouville boundary value problem $u^{(4)}(t)=f(t,\;u(t),\;u^{\prime\prime}(t))$, $0\;{\leq}\;t\;{\leq}1$, ${\alpha}u(0)-{\beta}u^{\prime}(0)={\gamma}u(1)+{\delta}u^{\prime}(1)=0$, $au^{\prime\prime}(\xi_1)-bu^{\prime\prime\prime}(\xi_1)=cu^{\prime\prime}(\xi_2)+du^{\prime\prime\prime}(\xi_2)=0$. Some sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of at least one positive solution to the above boundary value problem by using the well-known Guo-Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem.

OSCILLATION THEOREMS FOR CERTAIN SECOND ORDER NONLINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
Sun, Yibing,Han, Zhenlai,Zhao, Ping,Sun, Ying The Korean Society for Computational and Applied M 2011 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.29 No.5
In this paper, we consider the oscillation of the following certain second order nonlinear differential equations $(r(t)(x^{\prime}(t))^{\alpha})^{\prime}+q(t)x^{\beta}(t)=0$>, where ${\alpha}$ and ${\beta}$ are ratios of positive odd integers. New oscillation theorems are established, which are based on a class of new functions ${\Phi}={\Phi}(t,s,l)$ defined in the sequel. Also, we establish some interval oscillation criteria for this equation.
