An Empirical Research on East Asia's Cultural Goods' Intra-Regional Trade

        Shasha Yu,Eui Burm Park 한국관세학회 2011 관세학회지 Vol.12 No.1

With the development of the economic globalization and exchanges between different cultures, cultural trade have been developing at an accelerated speed, and also playing an important role in East Asia intra-regional trade. Based on the definitions and characters of cultural goods, this paper analyzed East Asia's cultural goods market by two ways: one was macro-economic situation estimated applying Gravity Trade Theory; the other one was consumer behavior estimated applying Cultural identity-Purchase intention Theory. Research indicated that economic mass decided the nation' trade value of cultural goods, distance has no significant influence on cultural goods trade in East Asia; HDI index, language, and internet coverage have positive promotion effect on cultural goods' trade pattern. In China domestic market, Chinese people's identification on foreign culture stimulated they to buy more foreign productions, and ethnocentrism has no inhibition influence on foreign cultural goods purchase behavior, under the influences of these two factors, good evaluations absolutely has promotion effect on foreign cultural goods trade. Up to now, cultural export trade has obtained a rapid expansion in Korea and Japan. China still in a lower level in creation cultural products. At last, the paper figured out the important and potential sectors of cultural goods trade in East Asia and gave some suggestions to government and cultural goods product enterprises.

      • An Empirical Research on Cultural Identity and Purchase Intention of Foreign Goods

Yu, Shasha,Liu, Xuefeng,Wu, Linjia Institute of Management Research 2021 Journal of East Asia Management Vol.2 No.1

Multinational enterprises have adopted the form of business to successfully operate globally, and the overseas project has brought huge cultural exchange and penetration. The cultural liberalization also has improved the manufactured goods production and effect the consumers' purchase intentions. In this paper we focused on the influence factors that effected the cultural output, by investigating the actual consume market, using Structure Equation model(SEM model) to test the relationships among cultural preferences and purchase intentions of foreign products. Also, we evaluated the consumers' ethnocentrism's influences on cultural identity with other nations' cultural background. Lastly, we concluded that cultural identity has influences and complicate individual thoughts and purchase actions, it provides significance of impact of nation's soft power and whole economic development, and ethnocentrism has no significant influences on consuming foreign manufacture goods.

East Asian Trade Flows of Cultural Goods: A Gravity Model Approach

Shasha Yu,Eui Burm Park 강원대학교 경영연구소 2011 Asia-Pacific Journal of Business Vol.2 No.1

With the market evaluation of economic globalization exchanges between different cultures, cultural trade has been developing at an accelerated speed, and also playing an important role in East Asian intra-regional trade. In this research the author used gravity trade model to explain the causal relationship between dependent variable trade flows and several independent variables applying with five categories cultural goods which classified in HS codes. Firstly for cultural heritage trade flow, the results indicated that economic masses of bilateral countries have no significant influences on it; GDP per capita of host country and adjacency factor with partner country have significant negative influences on it; Internet coverage ratio has improved cultural heritages exchanges in East Asian regions. Secondly for printed matter cultural goods trade flow, the distance factor has significant negative influence but common language has significant positive influence on it. Thirdly for recorded media cultural goods, only economic masses and GDP per capita of bilateral countries can improved their trade flows. Fourthly for visual arts cultural products trade flows, almost all variables we tested have significant influences on it. Fifthly for cinema photography cultural goods trade flow, the influenced factor are same with cultural heritage products except they have strong positive interaction relationship with economic masses and common language. At last, the paper figured out some important and potential sectors for cultural goods trade in East Asia and gave some suggestions to government and cultural goods product enterprises.

      • Predicting Inbound Tourism Demand with Optimized GM (1, 1) Model

Shasha Yu 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.8 No.6

The grey model theory is widely used in many field of investigation and of course includes inbound tourism demand. The original GM (1, 1) model couldn’t have accuracy prediction in some situation. Thus, an optimized GM (1, 1) model is proposed in this paper. Aiming at the deficiencies of the model, the improvements of GM (1, 1,) are include initial sequence, background value and parameter optimization. At last, the optimized GM (1, 1) model is used to predict inbound tourism demand of China and the results show that the proposed model is better than original GM (1, 1) model and time series model on prediction accuracy.

      • A Model of Human Resources Competitiveness Based on Multi-Attribute Grey Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation

Shasha Yu 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.7 No.6

Human resources are crucial in the enterprise’s development. The evaluation of the human resources competitiveness plays an important role in ensuring companies with good human resources. This paper investigates the multi-attribute evaluation of human resources competitiveness considering the characteristics of evaluation, such as complexity, multi-attribute and uncertainty. Thus, a model of human resources competitiveness based on the multi-attribute grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is proposed in this paper. This model has set up a multi-criteria evaluation system of human resources competitiveness of the enterprise. By analyzing quality of employee, resources inside the enterprise and potential for development of the enterprise, it creates a fuzzy evaluation model based on different criteria on evaluating human resources competitiveness and a grey relational evaluation model. A grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is formed when the two models are combined together. Finally, cases are raised to prove the effectiveness and feasibility of the model and the algorithm.

      • The Establishment of the E-commerce Logistics Service Evaluation System Based on Regression-AHP

Shasha Yu 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.8 No.6

With the development of economy and the progress of science and technology, E- commerce is rapidly penetrating into all fields of people's life. On the one hand, e-commerce plays a more and more prominent role in the consumption of the circulation. On the other hand, E-commerce distribution has become an important force pulling the express service increasing. But, express logistics service level in China is poor and it constrains the development problem. Therefore, establishing a scientific evaluation system is very necessary. In this paper, we propose Regression-AHP (RAHP) method. This new method can reduce the influence of subjectivity on the assessment result. The instance analysis shows that this method can evaluate the target equitable, objective and effective.

Effects of Pressure and Deposition Time on the Characteristics of In2Se3 Films Grown by Magnetron Sputtering

        Yong Yan,Shasha Li,Yufeng Ou,Yaxin Ji,Zhou Yu,Lian Liu,Chuanpeng Yan,Yong Zhang,Yong Zhao 대한금속·재료학회 2014 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.10 No.6

Crystalline In2Se3 films were fabricated by magnetron sputtering from a sintered In2Se3-compound target and the effects of the deposition parameters, including the working pressure and deposition time, on the phase composition, structure, morphology, and optical properties were clarified. Single-phase κ-In2Se3 was prepared at 4.0 Pa, but γ-In2Se3 was recognized when the working pressure was lower than 4.0 Pa. The optical transmittance of the films decreased to 45% and the optical band gap varied from 2.9 to 2.0 eV with increasing film thickness from 80 to 967 nm. Metal-semiconductor-metal (MSM) photodetectors based on γ-In2Se3 thin films with various thicknesses were also fabricated. The result of photosensitivity research on such MSM photodetectors suggests that it may be impossible to fabricate wide-absorption-range MSM devices by just using a single material (γ-In2Se3) because of spatial potential fluctuations in the layers.
