President XI Jinping Vision of International Relation

It is believed that President Xi’s thoughts and vision of international relation is outcome of his learning from Chinese civilization, wisdom, and communist ideology, but with a touch of western literature. It is less known fact that President Xi is vivid reader not only Chinese literature but also of international literature. For example, once President mentioned that he read Krylov, Pushkin, Gogol, Lermontov, Turgenev, Dostoyevsky, Nekrasov, Chernyshevsky, Tolstoy, Chekhov, and Sholokhov. Montesquieu, Voltaire, Rousseau, Diderot, Saint-Simon, Fourier, Sartre, and twelve others. Therefore, his vision of international relation is balanced and based on the reality. Besides, President Xi does not present anything, which he cannot substantiate by actions, same is true for his vision on international relations. This article argues that China under the leadership of President Xi has adopted a smart, aggressive, and wise policy of international relations. It shows that China has become pro-active, assertive and is not in mood to tolerate any unjust act. China is ready to lead the world by sticking to core values of humanity and socialism with Chinese characteristics. The ultimate objective would be to transform world into a community with shared future.
Diplomacy Through Shared Prosperity

Chinese philosophy of international is different from the western philosophy. It put relationship at core not interest. China believes sharing prosperity would be key element of enhance international linkages and influence. It avoids interfering in internal affairs of other countries. In the pursuance of this objective, China has devised tool to share dividend of its development, which China achieved after the hard work of 4 four decades. There is no secret that China developed by adopting a stepwise approach, which can be best understood by studying by understanding the three principal contradictions given by Chairman Mao, Deng Xiaoping and President Xi Jinping. China’s international relation vision revolves around the core values of “development, security, national sovereignty and territorial integrity”. China has developed these core values by learning from the past. Besides, China believes in actions not talking. Thus, President Xi has launched many initiatives to share the prosperity including Belt and Road Initiative, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank etc. In this context, Pakistan being the old friend and iron brother should devise policies, which can help to extract benefits from these initiatives.
