      • 한계계단 응답특성을 이용한 영구자석형 동기전동기 속도제어

        본 논문에서는 한계계단 응답특성을 이용하여 영구자석형 동기전동기의 속도 제어계에 대한 새로운 자동 동조 PI(Proportional Integral)제어기를 설계하였다. 과도응답 기간동안 소위 한계입력이라고 하는 계단입력을 인가하여 PI 제어기의 자동동조를 위한 정보를 얻기 위한 기법을 제안한다. 시스템 파라메터 추정과 동시에 속도제어가 온라인으로 이루어지는데, 이것은 시스탬의 불확실성에도 불구하고 한계입력에 의해서 얻어진 시스템 파라메터 정보가 연속적으로 PI 제어기에 적용될 수 있다는 것이다. 제안된 자동동조 알고리즘은 단조증가 계단응답 특성을 갖는 영구 자석형 동기전동기의 속도제어에 대한 시뮬레이션과 실험결과를 통하여 그 유효함을 확인하였다. In this paper, a new auto-tuning PI controller for the speed servo system of a PMSM is designed by using limited step response characteristics. The method is proposed that gets information about auto-tuning of PI regulator by the injection fo step input, called limited input, during a transient response time of control. System parameter estimation and speed control could be continuously executed. This means that in despite of system uncertainty the system information obtained by limited input can be continuously applied to the PI regulator. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed auto-tuning algorithm through simulation and experiment result of the speed control for a PMSM having monotone increasing step response.

        This paper is concerned with the design of a PFDS (process fault diagnosis scheme) based on parameter identification if full information about the state variables of system can not be obtained. An important problem is that the entire states of the system are required to be compared with the observer states to produce the state errors, for the entire parameter identification. However, since the number of measured outputs of system are less than the number of states, the number of output errors are less than the number of state errors. One way to uniquely identify all the possible parameter variation in the system is to introduce a disturbance reject observer to estimate the state error. Therefore the proposed PFDS consists of a observer and a parameter identifier. Computer simulation for a DC motor with a shunt field circuit show the effectiveness of the proposed PFDS.

        We propose a new method of measuring the frequency characteristics of phase velocity along a bone for bending-vibration modes to diagnose its mechanical characteristics. By introducing a simple model of distributed-constant-network, the phase velocity is determined for each frequency from the spatial distribution of velocity along a radius bone surface which is measured by the ultrasonic Doppler method.

        Parameter identification and state estimation is an important scientific and practical subject. Some works have been recently done in the area of observer theory and adaptive estimation theory for linear systems. The main part of such parameter identifier and state estimator is an observer, where the error between the measured output and the estimated on is used for estimation. An important problem is that the entire states of the system are required to be compared with the observer states to produce the state errors, for the entire parameter identification. However, since the number of measured outputs of system are less than the number of states, the number of output errors are less than the number of state errors. One way to uniquely identify all the possible parameter variation in the system is to introduce another observer to estimate the state error. Therefore the proposed adaptive observer consists of double observer and parameter identifier. Computer simulations for a DC motor with a shunt field circuit show the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive observer.

      • 미지입력관측기와 파라미터추정에 의한 견실한 고장검출 및 진단에 관한 연구

        This paper is concerned with the design of robust FDI(fault detection and isolation) based on UIO(unknown input observer) and adaptive estimator in order to diagnose process fault sensor fault. The major limitation of FDI approach based UIO design is that in some cases come strong conditions are to be satisfied in order for the UIO is exist. In this paper, the proposed FDI approach includes the case that does not match the necessary condition to exist UIO. It is accomplished by using the appropriate detection decision logic and process static model. In order to show the performance of the performance of the proposed FDI approach, computer simulation is performed on DC motor model. The simulation results show that the proposed FDI approach is capable of diagnosing the process fault and sensor fault.

      • DSP의 주변장치용 인터럽트 제어기의 FPGA 구현

        This paper designed a interrupt controller to interface peripheral devices to DSP using VHDL. It is proposed the design references and the model of interrupt controller to be designed in this paper. And the illustrations are presented about each function blocks of the model by symbolic circuits and flowcharts. The simulation results is also provided to illustrate the operation of the designed interrupt controller. This is tested at EP1K100QC208-3, ALTERA's FPGA, interfacing to TMS320VC33, TI's DSP.

        A variable structure controller is designed to control the speed of trapezoidal type BLDC servo motor which could achieve simple control circuit structure in driving system. This control system is implemented by using DSP(Digital Signal Processor TMS320C25) and full digitalized circuit. A modified variable structure control algorithm is adopted for the fast response characteristics and more power efficiency.

        This paper is about design of micro-stepping driver for 5-phase stepping motor having pentagon type winding. For realization of micro-stepping for 5-phase stepping motor, the current of each phase have sinusoidal type with 72˚delay. In the case of pentagon type winding stepping motor with excellent damping peculiarity, this phase current form earns from control of in-let current to 5 power line. Proposed method uses two techniques for the control of phase current. These are PWM method and analog current amplifying method. Especially, by applying analog current amplifying method fine control of phase current obtained. Therefore, we could reduce the stepping motor's vibration at low speeds due to rotor inertia and the settling-time at the moment when the rotor stops.

      • 고속형 PMSM 전류 제어 특성의 예측 가능한 시뮬레이터의 구현

        The high speed PMSM (Permanent magnet synchronous motor) consists of low phase inductance and phase resistance then normal speed PMSM. Additionally current control frequency is relatively low as compared with high output frequency. In this reason, current control for the high speed PMSM is difficult and prediction is necessary prior to implementation of hardware system. In this paper, the simulator that can predict characteristic of the high speed PMSM's current control is implemented. This simulator is identical to hardware system with a digital current controller and a SVPWM (Space Vector PWM) generator at the synchronous coordinate system's vector control loop.
