        젊은 성인의 영양정보이해력 평가도구 개발 및 타당성 검증

        본 연구는 젊은 성인을 대상으로 영양정보이해력을 평가할 수 있는 측정도구를 개발하기 위해 수행되었다. 영양정보이해력 평가를 위한 예비문항으로서 우선 7개 영역 65문항이 개발되었다. 작성된 예비문항을 영양전문가 5인에게 자문을 받아 불필요한 문항을 삭제하여 7개 영역 52문항으로 압축시켰다. 영양전문가 패널 20인을 대상으로 내용타당도 검증을 하였으며, Lawshe가 제안한 CVR값을 구하여 내용타당도 검증에 활용하였다. 평가도구 최종 항목으로서 총 6개 영역, 즉 식생활지침, 영양과 건강, 영양소, 다섯가지 식품군 (식품구성자전거), 영양표시, 질병 예방을 위한 영양관리를 포괄하는 30문항이 완성되었다. 이 평가도구를 이용하여 서울과 경인지역에 거주하는 성인 211명을 대상으로 신뢰도를 검증하기 위해 2주 간격으로 검사-재검사 (test-retest)를 실시하였으며, ICC값 (0.64–0.86)과 Cronbach’s α 계수(0.83–0.90)를 산출한 결과 모두 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 개발된 도구는 영양정보이해력을 평가할 수 있는 적합한 내용을 담고 있으며, 신뢰도 또한 매우 높은 것으로 검증되어, 젊은 성인의 다양한 수준의 영양정보이해력을 판별할 수 있을 것으로 본다. 또한 본 연구를 통해 개발된 평가도구는 지역사회 영양중재 프로그램 계획 시 그리고 만성질환의 예방관리를 위한 영양교육을 위해 대상자의 영양정보이해력을 파악하는 진단도구로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Purpose: This study was conducted to develop, validate, and assess the reliability of a questionnaire for nutritional literacy among young Korean adults. Methods: The draft questionnaire contained 65 items in 7 domains (i.e., dietary guideline, nutrition and health, nutrients, 5 food groups [food bicycle], nutrition labeling, portion size, and nutrition management for disease prevention). The authors developed a draft questionnaire based on a literature review. After multiple drafts, 52 items were retained and 13 were eliminated in the 7 domains according to professional advice from 5 nutrition experts. A panel of experts (n = 20) comprised of clinical dietitians and nutrition professors completed the content validity assessment, including quantitative and qualitative feedback. As the results, all items of the portion size were eliminated from the questionnaire. A sample of 211 young adults completed the test-retest reliability assessment. Test-retest reliability was evaluated using intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and inter-item reliability by Cronbach α coefficient. Results: The final questionnaire contained 30 items with 5 questions each on the dietary guideline, nutrition and health, nutrients, 5 food groups (food bicycle), nutrition labeling, and nutrition management for disease prevention. The Lawshe content validity ratio for domains ranged from 0.60 to 1.00. The ICC scores for questions ranged from 0.64 to 0.86. Cronbach’s α for domains ranged from 0.83 to 0.90 and for the overall questionnaire was 0.87. Conclusion: The questionnaire showed strong content validity, test-retest reliability, and high inter-item reliability, indicating that it is a useful tool for assessing nutritional literacy of young adults.

        <판타스틱 미스터 폭스>에 나타난 서사 변형의 양상

        본 연구에서는 로알드 달의 소설 『멋진 여우씨』가 애니메이션영화 <판타스틱 미스터 폭스>로 각색되면서 캐릭터와 플롯의 변형과 재창조를 통해서 드라마 구조가 재구성되는 양상과 그것의 의미작용을 분석하고, 이어서 서사 변형과 연출을 통해서 어떻게 영화의 콘텍스트가 확장되고 주제를 구현하는지를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 우리는 아리스토텔레스의 『시학』을 비롯한 극작술과 스토리텔링 이론들, 그리고 기호학적 분석 방법들과 영화 서사학의 연구 성과들을 토대로 소설과 영화를 분석했다. 소설에서 평면적 캐릭터였던 주인공 폭스를 영화에서는 코기토cogito가 있는 인물로 설정함으로써 끊임없이 자신의 존재를 회의하고 성찰하는 면을 보여준다. 영화 <판타스틱 미스터 폭스>에서는 원작 소설과 동일한 로그 라인과 동일한 도주와 추적의 플롯을 바탕으로 스토리가 전개되지만, 폭스에게 야생성의 포기라는 심각한 결핍을 부여함으로써 그의 새로운 캐릭터 아크가 각색의 중심을 차지하고 있음을 밝혔다. 또한 폭스와 애쉬의 성장통이 평행하게 성장 이야기로 맞물리면서 영화의 서사는 통일성을 확보하면서 주제 구현으로 연결되고 있음을 분석했다. <판타스틱 미스터 폭스>는 서사와 연출의 측면에서 주요 기표들과 오브제들의 병치 혹은 대립을 통해서 주제 의식을 확장한다. 여우와 야생동물들이 쟁취한 영화 속의 세계는 표면적으로 그들에게 긍정적인 전망을 보여주는 것처럼 보인다. 그렇지만 주요 이항대립항들의 계열체적 구조를 분석한 결과, 영화 속에 표출된 인간과 야생동물의 사회상의 맥락적 의미는 기만적이며 암울하다. 왜냐하면 엔딩에서 필리시티의 임신 고백은 새로운 생명의 탄생을 예고하지만, 그들에게 예비된 세상은 생명이 고갈된 불모의 공간이기 때문이다. 더욱이 펠리시티의 임신 사실을 영화의 오프닝과 엔딩에 수미상관하게 배치함으로 써, 그러한 암울한 삶이 계속 되풀이될 거라는 점에서 비극적이다. 요컨대 야생동물들의 연대만으로는 그들의 진정한 낙원을 쟁취할 수 없으리라는 전망과 함께, 지금도 그들이 하수구에서 나오기를 기다리고 있는 세 농부들을 희화화함으로써 영화 <판타스틱 미스터 폭스>는 자연과 인간의 조화와 공존을 역설적으로 촉구하고 있다 하겠다. < Fantastic Mr. Fox >(dir. Wes Anderson, 2009), an animated feature film, is loosely based on Roald Dahl's novel, Fantastic Mr. Fox(1970). This study aims to analyze the aspects of adaptation from a novel to an animation film. We analyzed the aspects of reconstruction of drama arcs and its signification through the process of adaptation, and how to expand the context and to embody a subject in the film. To this end, we applied conventional theory of dramatics, methods of semiotic analysis and the achievements of the study of film narratology. Setting up Mr. Fox, a flat character in the novel, as a character with cogito, the film shows the constant skepticism and reflection of his raison d’être. The story unfolds on the basis of the same log line and the same plot of escape and pursuit as in the novel. But the character taking center stage of adaptation, the psychological development of protagonist composed the center of narrative and drama arc in the film. According to the analysis of the systematic structure of major binary ports, the contextual meanings and relations between humans and wild animals in the film is deceptive and gloomy. Because ‘the Promised Land’, the world reserved for wild animals - Boggis, Bunce and Bean International Supermarkets - Mr. Fox and his colleague win at last is an infertile space out of life. To sum up, making a caricature of the three greedy farmers who are still waiting for them to come out of the sewer world, < Fantastic Mr. Fox > claims paradoxically the necessity of the harmony and coexistence of nature and man.

      • Study on the Optimization of Worker Exposure and Decommissioning Costs Through Scenario-Based Evaluation During Steam Generator Dismantling

        In South Korea, the replacement of steam generators began with Kori Unit 1 in 1995, and to date, 20 steam generators have been replaced and are currently stored in intermediate storage facilities. In the future, additional decommissioned steam generators may arise due to measures like the extension of the lifespan of nuclear power plants. In Korea, technological development for dismantling steam generators is underway, and there is no track record of actual dismantling. Although the replaced decommissioned steam generators are stored in intermediate facilities, for site recycling purposes, steam generators, which have relatively lower radiation doses compared to reactor heads and other primary equipment, should be prioritized for dismantling. While there are various specifications for steam generators, those dismantled and stored domestically are of the Recirculation Type. They can be classified into three types: the Westinghouse type WH-51 used in Kori Unit 1, the Fra-51B used in Han-ul Units 1 and 2, and the OPR-1000 used in Han-ul Units 3 and 4. The quantity of U-Tubes varies depending on the specification, but the radiation is concentrated in the primary side components, the U-Tube and Chamber. Since the parts related to the secondary side are not contaminated, they can be disposed of independently after classification. To dismantle a steam generator, it is of utmost importance to first create a scenario regarding where and how the dismantling will take place. Through the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of each scenario, the optimal timing, location, and cutting method for dismantling should be researched. Furthermore, based on those findings, the best scenario should be derived through an analysis of worker radiation exposure and dismantling costs. To achieve this, a 3D simulation software developed by Cyclelife Digital Solutions under the French EDF was utilized to conduct simulations based on different dismantling schedules and methods. As a result, the optimal scenario for dismantling the steam generator was derived.

        Radionuclide-Specific Exposure Pathway Analysis of Kori Unit 1 Containment Building Surface

        Site characterization for decommissioning Kori Unit 1 is ongoing in South Korea after 40 years of successful operation. Kori Unit 1's containment building is assumed to be mostly radioactively contaminated, and therefore radiation exposure management and detailed contamination investigation are required for decommissioning and dismantling it safely. In this study, site-specific Derived Concentration Guideline Levels (DCGLs) were derived using the residual radioactivity risk evaluation tool, RESRAD-BUILD code. A conceptual model of containment building for Kori Unit 1 was set up and limited occupational worker building inspection scenario was applied. Depending on the source location, the maximum contribution source and exposure pathway of each radionuclide were analyzed. The contribution of radionuclides to dose and exposure pathways, by source location, is expected to serve as basic data in the assessment criteria of survey areas and classification of impact areas during further decommissioning and decontamination of sites.

        Differences in DNA Probe-Mediated Aggregation Behavior of Gold Nanomaterials Based on Their Geometric Appearance

        <P>Nanoparticles are used extensively to detect nucleic acid biomarkers due to their analytical applicability and sensitivity. Systems employing the surface plasmon resonance of gold nanomaterials are overwhelmingly considered to be candidates. The aggregation of gold nanomaterials mediated by the hybridization of target DNA at the interface causes a change in the surface plasmon resonance inherent in gold nanomaterials. Such changes can be measured by spectroscopy or even visualized by the naked eye, enabling effective and positive detection. The optical properties of gold nanoparticles are affected by their shape. The geometric appearance of the nanoparticles also affects their colloidal stability and aggregation behavior. In this study, we examined the effect of the geometric appearance of gold nanomaterials on DNA-mediated aggregation behavior through comparative experiments. Experimental and theoretical methods were used concurrently to derive accurate results and to support the hypotheses. Coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations were performed with a large-scale atomic/molecular massively parallel simulator to understand the aggregation of nanoparticles with the same surface area and various aspect ratios. As a result, we confirmed that the aggregation sensitivity of nanoparticles was affected by the shape of the contact point with the gold nanomaterials. This study demonstrates that the design of a detection system should be accompanied by an in-depth review of the morphology of the nanoparticle.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

      • A Study on the Method of Screening Radionuclides of Concerns for Kori Unit 1 Decommissioning

        This study presents a methodology to determine the radionuclides of concern that are expected to be found during the final status survey of Kori Unit 1 decommissioning. The methodology involved reflecting the evaluation results of ORIGEN based on reference documents such as NUREG/CR-3474, NUREG/CR-4289, NUREG/CR-0130, WINCO-1191, and representative fuel loading. A list of potential radionuclides of concern was provided by reflecting the list of radionuclides of concern included in the Kori Unit 1 decommissioning plan. To select the radionuclides of concern, we analyzed the approach of US decommissioning plants based on the recommendations of NUREG-1757 Vol.2 Rev.1 and excluded certain radionuclides from the list. The final list of 23 radionuclides of concern was derived by excluding radionuclides that have a short half-life, low specific activity, analytically difficult to measure, inert gases, or naturally occurring radionuclides. This methodology can be applied to other nuclear power plants, such as the Wolsong Nuclear Power Plant, by reflecting the unique characteristics of the reactor.
