구매력평가설(Thory of Purchasing Power Parity)에 관한 문헌을 개관하여 보면 구매력평가설이 성립하기 위한 가정의 적합성에 관하여 상당한 논란의 여지가 있음을 알 수 있다. 지금까지 행해진 경험적 분석들은 미국·유럽 및 일본경제에 있어서 구매력 평가설의 성립여부를 검정한 것 들이었다. 이러한 검정결과들은 구매력평가설이 성립하는 것을 옹호하는 편이지만, 그 암묵적 가정은 구매력평가설이 유사한 산업구조를 갖고 있는 국가들 사이에 성립한다는 것이다. 그러나 이러한 가정은 적절하지 못하다. 이러한 관점에서, 한국경제를 주축으로 한 환태평양지역에서 구매력평가설의 성과를 규명코자 시계열분석의 일환인 공적분 검정(Cointegration Test)과 단위근 검정(Unit Root Test)을 하였다. 공적분 검정결과에 의하면 태국을 제외한 국가들(미국, 독일, 일본, 필리핀, 인도)에 있어서 구매력평가설은 성립하지 않았다. 즉 한국경제에 있어서 구매력평가설은 성립하지 않음을 알 수 있다. 전형적인 이론에 의하면, 단기에 있어서 통화공급충격은 구매력평가의 편차를 야기하지만, 장기에 있어서 이러한 편차는 소멸된다. 반면에 실질충격(Oil Shock, 정부지출)은 단기 또는 장기에서 구매력평가의 편차를 야기한다. 따라서 본 논문의 항후 연구과제는 환태평양지역에서 구매력평가설이 성립하지 않음을 이론적으로 재규명하고 동시에 경험적 분석을 하는 데 있다.

Scrambling of Adjunct and Last Resort

Cho, Jai-Hyoung and Kim, Ock-Hwan. 1999. Scrambling of Adjunct and Last Resort. Linguistics 7-$ 39-59. This paper deals with long-distance scrambling of adjuncts in Korean and Japanese with respect to the Last Resort principle. It is claimed that long-distance scrambled arguments are base-generated in the surface non-θ IP-adjoined position and that they must be obligatorily lowered into their θ-position at LF to check their θ-role feature, which is regarded as a movement-driving formal feature. Long-distance scrambled adjuncts are also argued to be base-generated in the IP-adjoined position. Unlike their argument counterparts, they are licensed there since adjuncts do not have any Case or θ-requirement. Thus, they must not be lowered into the embedded clause which they modify, otherwise the Last Resort principle would be violated. (Ajou University)

르 끌레지오 소설의 퍼즐 텍스트 구성방식에 관한 연구

Les premiers romans de le Clezio visent a un "texte pluriel", appuye sur la technique du collage, qui consiste en insertion des elements hybrides dans le texte narratif. Dans son roman-puzzle, le langage litterairre se heurte constamment aux elements heterogenes qui, d'une part, ne cessent pas de rompre le fil de l'histoire, et qui, d'autre part, produisent la "polyphonie enonciative". C'est pour reproduire la realite eclatee du monde moderne en desintegration, qu'il a recours a cette composition du texte-puzzle. La realite ne pourrait etre representee par le seul langage humain selon Le Clezio. Il faut mobiliser tous les moyens pour saisir et transcrire les mouvements de ce monde, ou grouillent toutes les sortes de messages : jeux typographiques et graphiques, signes picturaux, cliches photographiques, enfin, tous les langages et les signes que servent a rattraper les messages non verbalises. Le metissage de ces elements varies dans L Guerre ou Les Geants transgressent la norme de la creation fictive. Il s'agit d'un defi au genre romanesque. Ce sont des testes qui reunissent en eux-memes la mutiplicite des genres litteraires, et c'est ainsi qu'ils revetent un aspect du roman baroque.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to compare and examine the form characters among the changing elements of the body shape by types with the shape of middle aged woman's lower half of the body, which is one of many factors causing the flared skirt figure to be changed, and to analyse the effects of these middle aged woman's lower half of the body with remarkable change of the body shape on the flared skirt figure by carring out the wearing test with the human body. (1) The number of node showed that the body shape, T1, with the medium prominence of hip indicated the greatest number of node in terms of the fabric with high drape. In addition, it showed that the larger the flat rate without the sag of hip, the more the increase in the number of node. (2) The volume of the front node showed that the less the prominence of the abdomen, the more the increase of the node volume, while of the node that less the prominence of hip, the more the increase the volume of node. (3) The group with the largest prominence of the abdomen and hip showed the biggest horizontal and vertical diameters, and the ratio of the horizontal to vertical diameter indicated that the less the sag of hip, the larger the ratio, therefore, which showed the larger spread of horizontal section to the right and left sides.

宗敎言語의 非認識論的 理解에 대한 硏究

Man existswith the u l h a t e concern that is the question, "Where I was come and go", and "What is purpose of my life". It is the formula of existence of genuine person. According to Tillich, religion is, no other than, "the ultimate concern," and "God is the subject of ultimate concern". So, religion is the best import problem in all the life of a man. But, today, we can see the religious phenomenon, become grow distant from the intellectual men of modern. The important among the reason is that mo dern men comprehend religious language as cognitive. Religious language is not the language of realistic story, but is the mythological story and symbolistic language. Therefore, we should comprehend religious language as noncognitive. This study, for the sake of triangular position of such theory, mainly, dealt with Randall's theory of the four function of religious language, and Tillich's theory of symbolical language and religious symbols. This is the conclusion of this study: We can not understand religious language as cognitive, historical and scientific comprehension, but we can understand as noncognitive.

조선시대의 보자기에 나타난 표현기법 연구

There were various classes and levels of handy craft works from simple households to higher level works of art in Yi-dynasty, Korea. One of them, Pojagi, warpping cloth, is an antiquity which shows the women's sense of beauty And we can understand the section of the Yi-dynasty's fiber craft art thru analyzing its expressive technique and structure. Pojagi is very useful to wrap something without charging big volume and has very decorative effect in small inner space. The expressional techniches showed in Pojagi are dyeing, emboidery, patching, quilting and paper works. Basically dipping techniques in dye and drawing on cloth using Chainese paint (Dangchae) and printing patterns using wooden printing plate were applied on Pojagi Dangchae painted Pojagi mainly used in the Royal court are excellent but various type of tie dyeing technique which were prevalent in the period of the three Kingdoms and in an era of an acient Korea state, were not appear. Embroidery techniques appears in many. Pojagies made by private citizen, those are the living embroidery works which are mostly simple and rough feeling. Popular patterns used in embroidery are symmetrical plants and animal design and also character design for long life and happiness. Patched Pojagi shows the common people's good spirit of saving cloths and utilization of waste. Geometrical connection of patch work shows the genius abstract beauty of composition comparing to Mondran's painting. Quilting techniques were applied for Pojagi used in winter. Paper works shows the utilization of oiled paper and technique of cutting, rolling and twisting Hanji, (Korean traditional paper) like glass beads were applied to some decorative Pojagi. Embroidery and patching techniques are aften used but I feel sorry for the rotrgression of the various techniques of weaving and dyeing in comparison to the period of three. Kingdoms and acient Korea state. Even various kinds of fiber art expression techniques are limited, the women's high sense of beauty were designed and embodied to Pojagi under the limit of stringent and distinct difference of social position. I expect that continuous studying Pojagi and the korea image expressed in Pojagi contributes the worldwide crafts and art works and contrubutes industrialization thru getting sympathy of contemporary artist and craftman.

기능성 식품의 연구현황 : 생약류의 생물활성 중심으로 Biofuntions of herbal medicines

Modern medicine can not solve all the problems caused by many intractable, chronic and aging related diseases hence more people have come to recognize the role of foods for the promotion of good health as well as prevention from illness. Further more, controlled diet are proven to be used as effective cures for certain diseases. In this paper, the definition, functional factors and mechanisms of designer(funtional) foods are reviewed. Especially, the biofuntional activities of herbal medicines which also can be treated as designer foods are intensively noted in this paper.

전국 사범대학 가정교육과 교육과정의 현황 분석 및 현행 중등학교 '실업ㆍ가정과' 교육과정의 관련성 고찰

The purpose of this studyis to suggest basic data and the direction for revising the curricula of the departments of home Economics Education toward developmental and efficient ones. The current 23 curricula of all the departments of Home Economics Education in Korea were analyzed and compared with the course of the subject. "Practical Arts" included in the 5th Study Course of Secondary School to get the following results. 1) Only three subjects are commoly established in all the colleges, and they are Nutrition (obligatory in 23 colleges), Home Economics (obligatory in 21, optional in 2) and Housing (obligatory in 21, optional in 2). 2) Some subjects have various names differing with colleges, though the contents being the same, 8 subjects are established under more than 7 titles. 3) Principles of Home Economics and Home Economics Education, which are obilatory subjects for the majors in Home Economics Education, are established with far less number of scores than the instructions given from the specialists. 4) Subjects over-subdivided beyond necessity are sometimes established, and some curricula areshowing the lack of balance in distriduting scores aming disciplines after concentrating on a partivular discipline. 5) Too few subjects are established entirely for experiment and exercise. 6) There is alomst no subject related with the technics for domestic life, vocation and career which are included in the Secondary School Course.

현대금속공예 작품의 기호학적 분석연구

This thesis is to analysis of Contemporary Metal-craft works through Semiotical Methodology. With this procedure, it could be found that there are special difference in the result through the case studies between semiotic tool be used and not be used. When the tool is not used there are not fixed procedure, so important contents could be able to be missing. Especially, in the works which are made by the theory of deconstructive methodology, because there are located plural meanings. So it's very difficult to decern the true intention of the artist. Sometime destructive methodology are used, the signifier and signified could be different. So this thesis is to show the model case of analysis about the destrutive works. The semiotic tool is able be used to inspect the plural meaning of the works.

The purpose of this study is to explore how Atwood embodies her vision of duplicity in The Journals of Susanna Moodie. Atwood is primarily concerned with themes of opposition or polarity. But she strives for a constructive reconciliation of various polarities. For Atwood, duplicity is a natural state that should be viewed positively, and is not to be confused with polarity. She suggests that when we reduce relationships to polar opposites - subject/object, mind/body, male/female, or culture/nautre - we set up adversary positions, in other words, the power politics of victims and victors. The Journals of Susanna Moodie is the best of Atwood's works, for it is the mythic embodiment of Atwood's vision, an emblem of Canada's cultural past and a symbol of human physiological, psychological, and linguistic doubleness. In The Journals Atwood speaks with Moodie's double voice to make the readers hear and see the possibilities or inevitability of duality. In accepting, instead of polarizing our identity, we accept the self's duplication of everything. And instead of defining ourselves over against our surroundings and each other like Moodie, the progressively insane pioneer, we must learn to accept our place within a duplistic system which we mirror and in which we are mirrored. That is the way of being which we can live in a natural creative harmony with the world.
