        최근 공간정보 콘텐츠에 대한 보안의 필요성이 증가하면서 기존 보안 시스템의 정책 관리 및 신뢰성의 문제가 대두되고 있다. 특히 국내외 공공기관 및 기업에서는 공간정보에 대한 관리와 정보보안을 위한 정밀한 접근제어의 필요성이 부각되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 공간 연산을 통해 접근을 제어하고 상호운용성을 가지는 GeoXACML 기반의 접근제어 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. GeoXACML 기반의 접근제어 시스템은 문법 및 의미의 확장이 용이하고 통합된 보안 정책의 제공이 가능하며 공간적 범위와 조건에 의거한 접근제한이 가능하다.

        Optimal Duration of Dual Antiplatelet Therapy after Stent-Assisted Coil Embolization of Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysms : A Prospective Randomized Multicenter Trial

        Objective : Stent-assisted coil embolization (SAC) has been increasingly used to treat various types of intracranial aneurysms. Delayed thromboembolic complications are major concerns regarding this procedure, so dual antiplatelet therapy with aspirin and clopidogrel is needed. However, clinicians vary the duration of dual antiplatelet therapy after SAC, and no randomized study has been performed. This study aims to compare the safety and efficacy of long-term (12 months) dual antiplatelet therapy and short-term dual antiplatelet therapy (6 months) after SAC for patients with unruptured intracranial aneurysms (UIAs). Methods : This is a prospective, randomized and multicenter trial to investigate the optimal duration of dual antiplatelet therapy after SAC in patients with UIAs. Subjects will receive dual antiplatelet therapy for 6 months (short-term group) or 12 months (long-term group) after SAC. The primary endpoint is the assessment of thromboembolic complications between 1 and 18 months after SAC. We will enroll 528 subjects (264 subjects in each group) and perform 1 : 1 randomization. This study will involve 14 top-performing, high-volume Korean institutions specializing in coil embolization. Results : The trial will begin enrollment in 2022, and clinical data will be available after enrollment and follow-up. Conclusion : This article describes that the aim of this prospective randomized multicenter trial is to compare the effect of short-term (6 months) and long-term (12 months) dual antiplatelet therapy on UIAs in patients undergoing SAC, and to find the optimal duration.

      • Use of an indium zinc oxide interlayer for forming Ag-based Ohmic contacts to p-type GaN for UV-light-emitting diodes

        <P>We have investigated indium-doped ZnO(IZO)/Ag Ohmic contacts to p-type GaN for use in UV-light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The as-deposited sample shows rectifying behaviour. However, the samples become Ohmic when annealed at temperature of 330–530 °C for 1 min in air. For example, the contact produces specific contact resistance of 5.51 × 10<SUP>−4</SUP> Ω cm<SUP>2</SUP> upon annealing at 530 °C. In addition, the 530 °C annealed IZO/Ag contacts give reflectance of 82.3% at a wavelength of 405 nm, which is better than that (70.6%) of the single Ag contacts. Near-UV LEDs fabricated with the IZO/Ag contacts give forward voltage of 3.24 V at an injection current of 20 mA, which is better than that with the single Ag contacts. On the basis of x-ray photoemission spectroscopy and scanning transmission electron microscopy results, possible Ohmic formation mechanisms are described.</P>

        The purpose of this study is to determine the most optimized standard for the distance of frame hinge part, prevention of gap, and prevention of noise, which is a part that should be considered for the comfort of passengers in the design of bus passenger seat. When we ride a bus and the back of the seat is up, we optimize the design by using the distance between the back hinge point and the cylinder rear bracket, the distance between the top of the back frame and the hinge point, and the reference data of the cylinder reaction force (kgf) it is important. Therefore, the relationship between the gas cylinder and the back hinge point distance applied to the bus seat will be described.

        Nationwide Mortality Data after Flow-Diverting Stent Implantation in Korea

        Objective : To investigate nationwide statistics on flow-diverting stent usage for cerebral aneurysm treatment and related mortality data. Methods : We requested data extraction from the National Health Insurance Service claims database using electronic data interchange codes (J3207064, J3207073). Patient and hospital information as well as death statistics were collected from the database. Results : A total of 169 procedures were performed using flow-diverting stents for cerebral aneurysm treatment from November 2014 to December 2016 in Korea. The majority of primary diagnosis was unruptured intracranial aneurysm. During the study period, nine subjects died, including one patient initially diagnosed with subarachnoid hemorrhage. The crude mortality rate was 5.3%. Five patients died within one month after the procedure; therefore, the estimated periprocedural mortality rate was $3.0{\pm}1.3%$. The mortality rate as of the last day of 2016 was $6.3{\pm}2.1%$. Conclusion : In a 171 person-year follow-up in a Korean series, nine deaths occurred after flow-diverting stent treatment. The crude mortality rate in Korea (5.3%) was higher than that reported in a previous meta-analysis (3.8%).

      • GeoXACML 기반의 접근 제어 시스템 설계 및 구현

        최근 공간정보와 다양한 멀티미디어 등이 융합되어감에 따라 고부가가치의 공간정보 콘텐츠에 대한 수요와 공간정보 보안을 위한 각종 기술의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 그러나 현재의 보안 정책은 각각의 시스템에서 독립적으로 관리되고 있기 때문에 보안 정책의 수정에 많은 비용이 소요되거나 신뢰성이 떨어지는 문제점이 있으며, 국내외 공공기관 및 기업에서 사용되는 공간정보 관리 시스템에서도 시스템의 연계 및 통합 과정 중 이와 같은 문제점들이 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 국제 표준화 기구인 OGC에서 제시한 GeoXACML을 기반으로 문법 및 의미의 확장이 용이하고 많은 공간 플랫폼 및 시스템에 대해 통합된 보안 정책을 제공할 수 있는 접근 제어 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 설계 및 구현한 GeoXACML 기반 접근 제어 시스템은 국제 표준 스펙을 따르기 때문에 높은 이식성과 함께 상호운용성을 제공한다. 마지막으로 본 논문에서는 본 시스템을 접근 권한이 요구되는 군사 지역에 대한 가상 시나리오에 적용해 봄으로써 그 효용성을 입증하였다. Recently, as the spatial information and various multimedia are fused together, the demand for the high value-added spatial information contents and the necessity of technology for spatial information security are increasing. However, since the current security policy is being managed independently by each system, there is a problem with unreliable or costly to modify or revise the security policy. Such problems occur frequently in the process of coordination or integration of the spatial information management systems that are used in public institutions and private companies. Therefore, in this paper, the access control system that could provide an integrated security policy for many spatial platforms and systems with expandable grammar and semantics was designed and implemented based on GeoXACML proposed by OGC. As the GeoXACML-based access control system designed and implemented in this paper follows the international standard specifications, it provides high portability and interoperability. Finally, in this paper, the efficiency of the system was proved by applying it to a virtual scenario on the military area requiring the access control.

        Trends, Functionalities, and Prospects of Probiotics

        The importance of beneficial microorganisms, particularly probiotics, that coexist in the human body, is being increasingly recognized. Probiotics are representative health functional foods that provide health benefits to humans through the production of various metabolites, including short-chain fatty acids. However, the health benefits are strain-specific, and the use of each probiotic strain should follow guidelines that assure its safety. Accurate identification of the strain should be managed through genetic and phenotypic analyses of the strain. Besides, the functionality of probiotics should be disclosed in vitro and in vivo so that they can be used as legal functional ingredients (i.e., individual standards). In this review, we deal with the guidelines, including the technical factors related to probiotic strains. The common health effects of probiotic strains include proliferation of beneficial bacteria, control of harmful bacteria, and facilitation of bowel activities. Probiotics with various functionalities (e.g., body fat and cholesterol reduction, vaginal health, and improvement of skin’s immune system) have been investigated as “individual standards of raw materials for health functional foods” provided by MFDS. In the future, various biotechnologies including synthetic biology can be applied to produce customized probiotics to improve human health.

      • Bifidobacterium lactis IDCC 4301 exerts anti-obesity effects in high-fat diet-fed mice model by regulating lipid metabolism

        Chronic hypernutrition and lack of physical activity promote lipid accumulation in the white adipose tissue, and excessive lipid accumulation leads to obesity. An increase in the number and size of adipocytes, a characteristic of obesity, is closely associated with adipose dysfunction. Recent in vitro and in vivo studies have proven that probiotics may prevent this dysfunction by regulating lipid metabolism. However, the mechanisms of action of probiotics in obesity are not fully understood, and hence, their usage for treating obesity remains limited. In this study, Bifidobacterium lactis IDCC 4301 was selected for its anti-obesity potential after evaluating inhibitory activity of pancreatic lipase and cholesterol reducing activity. Next, we investigated the roles of B. lactis IDCC 4301 on lipid metabolism in 3T3-L1 cells and high-fat diet (HFD)-fed mice. Our results show that B. lactis IDCC 4301 inhibits cell differentiation and lipid accumulation by suppressing the expression of adipogenic enzymes in 3T3-L1 cells. Moreover, the administration of B. lactis IDCC 4301 resulted in decreased body and epididymal adipose tissue weight, improvement in serum lipid levels, and downregulated adipogenic mRNA expression in HFD-fed mice. Additionally, metabolomic analysis suggested that 2-ketobutyrate might be a possible target compound against obesity. Collectively, these results support that B. lactis IDCC 4301 could be used as an alternative treatment for obesity.

        The in vitro and in vivo Safety Evaluation of Lactobacillus acidophilus IDCC 3302

        As consumption of healthy foods continues to garner remarkable public attention, ensuring probiotic safety has become a priority. In this study, the safety of Lactobacillus acidophilus IDCC 3302 was assessed in vitro and in vivo. L. acidophilus IDCC 3302 showed negative results for hemolytic and β-glucuronidase activities. The whole-genome analysis (WGA) revealed that L. acidophilus IDCC 3302 did not possess antibiotic resistance or virulence genes. The minimal inhibitory concentrations of L. acidophilus IDCC 3302 confirmed its safety concerning antibiotic resistance. Furthermore, L. acidophilus IDCC 3302 was demonstrated to be nontoxic in the oral toxicity test in rats. Therefore, the results suggested that L. acidophilus IDCC 3302 might be safe for human consumption.
