In this paper, we propose a new DSS for dealing stocks which utilizes intelligently predictions (obtainedby NNs) concerning the occurrence of Golden Cross (GC) & Dead Cross (DC), those concerning the increase(decrease) rate of future stock price several weeks ahead, and that regarding the relative position of the future stock price versus crossing point of GC (DC). Computer simulation results concerning the dealings of the Nikkei-225 during the last 15 years confirm the effectiveness of our approach.

In this paper, we compare the modified COMMONS GAME utilizing EAs & NNs with the originalCOMMONS GAME from the point of view of “Which game playing is more exciting ?” We also compare it with the modified COMMONS GAME utilizing GAs & NNs. Several game playings by our university students confirm thatthe modified COMMONS GAME utilizing EAs & NNs can provide by far the best chance for letting players consider seriously about the commons.
Integration of Intelligent Technologies for Simultaneous Localization and Mapping

This paper proposes a simultaneous localization and mapping method for a mobile robot in unknown environments. According to the measured distance by laser range finder, a topological environmental map is updated sequentially by using growing neural gas. When the difference between the measured distance and its corresponding map data is large, the robot must update the self-location. In this paper, we apply a particle filter and steady-state genetic algorithm, and compare their performance. Finally, we discuss the effectiveness of the proposed methods through several experimental results.
