Fe-Tb, Co-Tb 및 Fe-Co-Tb 아몰퍼스박막의 구조해석연구

The atomic structures of RF magnetron sputtered amorphous Fe_(80)Tb_(20), Co_(75)Tb_(25) and Fe_(58)Co_(15)Tb_(27) films with 1㎛ thickness have been investigated by X-ray diffraction measurements in a low-angle geometry. Atomic number density functions of Fe-Tb and Co-Tb alloy systems show that the inter-atomic distance for the Co-Tb pair is 0.25Å shorter than that for the Fe-Tb pair but the structural difference in the topology between tho two alloy systems has not been observed. The local structures of amorphous Fe-Tb and Co-Tb systems are identified similar to those of the crystalline Fe_(23)Tb_6 and Co₃Tb, respectively. The local structure of amorphous Fe-Co-Tb system appears to be the weighted average structure of amorphous Fe-Tb and Co-Tb alloy systems according to the compositional ratio of Fe and Co atoms.

An 84-year-old woman presented with a tender swelling of both her cheeks eight days prior to admission. She was initially treated with Clarithromycin. However, she developed generalized erythematous papules. On admission, parotitis and impetigo were suspected and Ceftriaxone was administered. Skin biopsy revealed perivenular histiocytic infi ltration without vasculitis. The histology along with the clinical fi ndings were compatible with the diagnosis of Sweet`s syndrome. She developed hematochezia between the fi fth and eighth hospitalization day. Enteroendoscopy revealed bleeding from the ileum. Bleeding was controlled by combination of endoscopic hemostasis by clipping and angiographic intervention using coil embolization. As the ileal bleeding was controlled and there was gradual clinical and laboratory improvement, corticosteroids were not used. Ceftriaxone was changed to minocycline. The patient was fi nally discharged 42 days after her admission once she recovered from her symptoms. After discharge, however she developed stricture of the ileum as a complication of angiographic embolization. She subsequently underwent surgical resection of the ileum. The resected ileum revealed ulceration and fi brinous changes compatible with angiographic embolization. However there were some histological changes that seemed to establish an association with Sweet`s syndrome. Sweet`s syndrome is characterized by constellation of clinical symptoms, physical features, and pathologic fi ndings that include fever, neutrophilia, tender erythematous skin lesions, and a diffuse infi ltrate of mature neutrophils. We report a rare case of Sweet`s syndrome with parotitis complicated by ileal bleeding without other underlying diseases.
Physical Properties of Oxide Films Formed by Plasma Anodization on Mg Alloy

In this work, we study physical and mechanical properties of oxide films formed on AZ91D magnesium alloy by plasma anodization at different temperatures. It is found that the higher the electrolyte temperature, the lower is the breakdown voltage of oxide layer. This is probably because films formed at higher temperatures are thinner and denser. Moreover, electrolyte temperature plays an important role in the physical properties of the films. As the electrolyte temperature increases from 20 to $50^{\circ}C$, the hardness of the oxide layer increases. Friction test against steel balls indicates that wear scars become narrower for films formed at higher temperatures because the films are harder, as indicated by the Vickers hardness. The thinner and denser nature of the oxide film formed at $50^{\circ}C$ is also advantageous for heat transfer when film is used as a heat sink. Laser flash test results show very fast heat transfer for AZ91D with plasma anodized oxide layer formed at higher temperatures.
