A system of nonlinear variational inclusions with (A, η)-monotone mappings in Hilbert spaces

Meijuan Shang,Xiaolong Qin 영남수학회 2008 East Asian mathematical journal Vol.24 No.1

In this paper, we introduce a system of nonlinear variational inclusions involving (A, η)-monotone mappings in the framework of Hilbert spaces. Based on the generalized resolvent operator technique associated with (A, η)-monotonicity, the approximation solvability of solutions using an iterative algorithm is investigated. Our results improve and extend the recent ones announced by many others.

An iterative method for equilibrium problems, variational inequality problems and fixed point problems

Meijuan Shang,Yongfu Su 한국전산응용수학회 2009 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.27 No.1

In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping, the set of solutions of the variational inequality for an inverse-strongly monotone mapping and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem in a Hilbert space. We show that the iterative sequence converges strongly to a common element of the three sets. The results of this paper extend and improve the corresponding results announced by many others. Phosphatidylcholine regulates NF-κB activation in attenuation of LPS-induced inflammation: evidence from in vitro study

        Meijuan Cheng,Hongying Pan,Yining Dai,Jiajie Zhang,Yongxi Tong,Yicheng Huang,Mingshan Wang,Haijun Huang 한국통합생물학회 2018 Animal cells and systems Vol.22 No.1

Phosphatidylcholine (PC) has been demonstrated as anti-inflammatory and antioxidant/pro-oxidant molecules. In this study, we investigated the protective effects of PC on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) caused by lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced injury in intestinal epithelia cells. The IEC-6 cells (intestinal epithelia cells) were stimulated with LPS (1 μg/mL) for 24 h with or without PC pretreatment, in the next steps: (1) the level of the inflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α was measured with ELISA; (2) the nuclear translocation and phosphorylation of NF-κB was investigated with Western blot, EMSA, immunofluorence assay; (3) the protein phosporylation levels in MAPK signaling pathway were detected with Western blot method. The results showed: (1) compared with the normal group, 10 and 20 μg/mL of PC significantly inhibited the production and activation of TNF-α, (P < 0.01); (2) pretreatment with PC inhibited LPS-induced nuclear translocation and phosphorylation of p65 in IEC-6 cells; (3) pretreatment with PC inhibited the protein phosphorylation levels in MAPK signaling pathway. Our findings indicated that PC had the effect to protect IEC-6 cells from LPS-induced injury and this effect was exerted possibly through inhibiting the TNF-ɑ secretion, down-regulating nuclear translocation and phosphorylation of p65 and inhibiting MAPK signaling pathways.

      • A Trust Management Model for Mobile P2P Networks based on Multiple-Fuzzy Theory

Meijuan JIA,Huiqiang WANG,Guangsheng FENG,Fangfang GUO 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.9 No.12

The characteristics of dynamic, heterogeneity and limited resources of peers result in the existence of selfish behavior in MP2P network, which affect the network performance. To improve the performance of MP2P, a trust management model for peer reputation is established based on multiple-fuzzy theory in this paper. Direct trust, indirect trust, residual energy and active degree of peers are used as the fundamental variables and their weights are determined by using fuzzy theory, and then the reputation of peers is calculated. Peers with high reputation are allowed to participate in the communication and peers with low reputation are not allowed. The experimental simulation results show that the model not only effectively improve the malicious peer detection rate and the query hit rate but also reduce the Cx of the network.

A Method of Finding Hidden Key Users Based on Transfer Entropy in Microblog Network

( Meijuan Yin ),( Xiaonan Liu ),( Gongzhen He ),( Jing Chen ),( Ziqi Tang ),( Bo Zhao ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2020 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.14 No.8

Finding key users in microblog has been a research hotspot in recent years. There are two kinds of key users: obvious and hidden ones. Influence of the former is direct while that of the latter is indirect. Most of existing methods evaluate user's direct influence, so key users they can find usually obvious ones, and their ability to identify hidden key users is very low as hidden ones exert influence in a very covert way. Consequently, the algorithm of finding hidden key users based on topic transfer entropy, called TTE, is proposed. TTE algorithm believes that hidden key users are those normal users possessing a high covert influence on obvious ones. Firstly, obvious key users are discovered based on microblog propagation scale. Then, based on microblogs' topic similarity and time correlation, the transfer entropy from ordinary users' blogs to obvious key users is calculated and used to measure the covert influence. Finally, hidden influence degrees of ordinary users are comprehensively evaluated by combining above indicators with the influence of both ordinary users and obvious ones. We conducted experiments on Sina Weibo, and the results showed that TTE algorithm had a good ability to identify hidden key users.

A New Method for Determination of 3D Active Earth Pressure of Unsaturated Backfills

        Long Wang,Meijuan Xu,Jie Li,Wenhua Liu,De’an Sun 대한토목학회 2021 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.25 No.12

Determinations of active earth pressures are commonly performed two-dimensionally (2D) based on completely saturated and/or dry assumptions, though the soil in cases of geotechnical interest is mostly unsaturated and the earth pressures are usually of conspicuous three-dimensional (3D) features. In this paper, a novel finite prismoid element method (FPEM) for calculating the lateral earth pressures acting against the retaining wall is suggested. The main feature of the FPEM is that the whole backfill is discretized into numerous horizontally distributed prismoid elements that might characterized with different soil properties. For unsaturated backfills, the prismoid elements are characterized with various soil cohesions and unit soil weights. Upper bound solutions to active earth pressures under 2D and 3D conditions with and without suction are both calculated and compared with several other analytical ones, indicating the reliability and applicability of the proposed method. The responses of unsaturated backfills to surcharge loads on the crest are numerically studied and discussed. An illustrative example is reexamined to further demonstrate the practical use of the technique.

Combination of High-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol and Lipoprotein(a) as a Predictor of Collateral Circulation in Patients With Severe Unilateral Internal Carotid Artery Stenosis or Occlusion

        Shuyin Ma,Meijuan Zhang,Huiyang Qu,Yuxuan Cheng,Shuang Du,Jiaxin Fan,Qingling Yao,Xiao Dong Zhang,Mengying Chen,Nan Zhang,Kaili Shi,Yizhou Huang,Shuqin Zhan 대한신경과학회 2022 Journal of Clinical Neurology Vol.18 No.1

Background and Purpose Collateral circulation is considered an important factor affecting the risk of stroke, but the factors that affect collateral circulation remain unclear. This study was performed to identify the factors associated with collateral circulation, especially blood lipids. Methods The study involved patients who had undergone digital subtraction angiography and were confirmed as having severe unilateral stenosis or occlusion of the internal carotid artery (ICA). We classified the collateral circulation status of each patient as good (Grade 3 or 4) or poor (Grade 0, 1, or 2) according to the grading system of the American Society of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology/American Society of Interventional Radiology. We collected data on patients’ characteristics and identified the factors that affect collateral circulation. Results This study included 212 patients. The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) concentration and a complete anterior half of the circle of Willis were independent protective factors for good collateral circulation, whereas elevated lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] and serum creatinine concentrations were independent risk factors for good collateral circulation. The area under the receiver operating characteristics curve (AUC) was 0.68 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.61–0.76) for HDL-C and 0.69 (95% CI, 0.62–0.76) for Lp(a). A binary logistic regression model analysis of the joint factor of HDL-C and Lp(a) yielded an AUC of 0.77 (95% CI, 0.71–0.84). Conclusions In patients with severe unilateral ICA stenosis or occlusion, the combination of HDL-C and Lp(a) is a useful predictor of collateral circulation.
