      • Research on Development of Emerging Multinational Corporations in China

        Multinational Corporations (MNCs) have become very large and powerful nowadays. Some are worth more than the entire GDP of many countries. So MNCs can have an enormous effect, for good and for ill, on the countries they do business. For every industry, innovation is the root and guarantee for development. As we may know, there are three kinds of basic innovation strategy, which are discretionary innovation, imitating innovation and cooperative innovation. And China should choose the strategy which fits its own national conditions. In turns of status of Chinese multinational corporations, the innovation capacity is quite poor compared to other giant multinational corporations of developed countries. MNCs in China have made remarkable contributions to Chinese economy, among which Chinese local enterprises are still at the primary stage of the development compared to other international brands. Therefore, they should learn from the experience and find their way to balance standardization and localization in the era of globalization.

        NIL-CLEAN RINGS OF NILPOTENCY INDEX AT MOST TWO WITH APPLICATION TO INVOLUTION-CLEAN RINGS

        A ring is nil-clean if every element is a sum of a nilpotent and an idempotent, and a ring is involution-clean if every element is a sum of an involution and an idempotent. In this paper, a description of nil-clean rings of nilpotency index at most 2 is obtained, and is applied to improve a known result on involution-clean rings.

        Research on Steady Characteristics of F-π Bridge lectro-hydraulic Proportional Pressure Reducing Valve

        This paper establishes the idea of a pressure reducing valve with an F-π bridge hydraulic resistance network as its pilot circuit under the theory of π bridge hydraulic resistance networks. It analyzes the working principle of the valve and establishes the nonlinear equations of flow pressure through the hydraulic resistances and force balance between the pilot and main valves. It derives the analytical expression for steady flow pressure of the F-π bridge electro-hydraulic proportional pressure reducing valve and then determines that the override pressure of the F-π bridge electro-hydraulic proportional pressure reducing valve is 0.0037% of the traditional type. A simulation shows that the flow pressure of the F-π bridge electro-hydraulic proportional pressure reducing valve is related to the hydraulic resistances of the pilot circuit and is more stable than the traditional electro-hydraulic proportional pressure reducing valve.

        The Experimental Research on Gear Eccentricity Error of Backlash-Compensation Gear Device Based on Transmission Error

        Backlash compensation is a research focus in precision gear transmission, and eccentricity error is the main factor which leads to transmission error(TE) with large period and periodically variable backlash in gear transmission, therefore, the eccentricity of gear has to be considered in anti-backlash. Firstly, the dual-eccentricity model for calculating the transmission error caused by eccentricity errors of gears is presented based on external parallel-axes gear transmission. Then, the tests are carried out at different input speed and initial starts for acquiring transmission error of the designed backlash compensation device, and the eccentricity error of the gear is identified from the testing data of transmission error by curve fitting based on the calculation model. Both the value and phase of the fitting eccentricity error are well coincident with the calculating model. Finally, the fast Fourier transform (FFT) is also employed to analyze the value of the eccentricity error. The results of the FFT are closed to the fitting values. The work is helpful for obtaining the eccentricity error of gear from the testing results of transmission error, which is useful for forecasting the TE caused by eccentricity error and provides important reference for backlash compensation and control.

        Immersion and Invariance-based Sliding Mode Attitude Control of Tilt Tri-rotor UAV in Helicopter Mode

        In this paper, we propose an immersion and invariance-based sliding mode controller for a tilt tri-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle subjects to parameter perturbation, unmodeled dynamics, and external disturbances. The control scheme is divided into three parts, including the disturbance observer, the attitude controller, and the control allocation. Firstly, to alleviate the chattering and improve the robustness for attitude control, the observer using immersion and invariance theory is developed to estimate the disturbance. Note that the observer can relax the requirement of disturbance upper bound and guarantee the convergence of the estimation error. Secondly, to improve the dynamic response capability, a sliding mode attitude controller with an adaptive switch function is designed based on the disturbance observer. Thirdly, a hierarchical control allocation algorithm is proposed. The performance improvement is illustrated by comparing with other sliding mode controllers. Simulations and flight experiments are conducted to verify the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed control scheme.

        Measuring the Moderating Effect of Gender on Organic Food Purchase Intentions in China based on Theory of Planned Behavior

        The study is to identify the factors influencing Chinese consumers' intentions to purchase organic food based on Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) model. This research concentrates on the moderating effect of gender during the process. An offline investigation was used for the research purpose. Data for the study was gathered from February to March 2018. The total of 260 valid responses was used for this analysis. An online questionnaire was distributed through Email to Chinese consumers living in major cities of China and abroad to collect the data. Multi group analysis and model comparison were conducted to examine the moderating effect of gender. Our results support previous researches suggesting that gender moderates the relationship between attitude and behavioral intention. However, surprisingly, no significant moderating effect of gender on the relationship between subjective norms and behavioral intention was found. This paper revisited TPB antecedents and the moderating effect of gender focusing on Chinese organic food markets. The findings provide essential managerial implications to the marketers in this industry. Further research could examine whether TPB model can be applied to other potential purchasing groups.

      • Predicting Chinese Consumers’ Intentions to Purchase Organic Food based on TPB Model

        The aim of the present study is to identify the factors influencing Chinese consumers’ intentions to purchase organic food based on Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) model. An online questionnaire was distributed through Email to Chinese consumers living in major cities of China and abroad to collect the data. The TPB model is tested as having good fit to the data. The results obtained from the empirical study suggest that attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control had a statistically significant and positive relationship with Chinese consumers’ intentions to purchase organic food. In this study, subjective norms can explain more variance than the other two predictors in predicting Chinese consumers’ purchasing intentions of organic food. This key finding provides essential managerial implications to the marketers in this industry. This study provides a theoretical framework for understanding Chinese consumers’ purchasing intention of organic food. It was found that consumers’ attitudes towards organic food, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control have a positive association with purchasing intention. In present study, subjective norms can explain more variance than the other two predictors, therefore, it can be seen as the most important predictor in explaining Chinese consumers’ purchasing intentions of organic food.

      • Model-Based Load Characteristics Analysis of the Multi-Dimensional Force Sensor

        As an important component of force feedback device, multi-dimensional force sensor has been widely used in haptic device, prosthetic hand and other devices. In a given application, the multi-dimensional force sensor is always coupled with a load by the screw thread, which may result in a totally different dynamic behavior from a bare force sensor. It is the key data for deeply understanding the dynamic performance to have information about the structural distribution of stiffness and mass of the multi-dimensional force sensor. To address this need, the approach of model-based load characteristic analysis of the multi-dimensional force sensor is presented in this paper. Dynamic behavior of the force sensor in a given load is described by a lumped mass model consists of spring-mass-damper elements and characterized by the model parameters that describe the dynamic correlation distribution of mass, stiffness, and damping. The main purpose of the proposed approach is the description of the load characteristics of the multi-dimensional force sensor, independent of the given mechanical environment, which provides a certain theoretical reference for the calculation of the load capacity of the force sensor.
