        한 · 중 전통가구 장식의 상징적 의미를 활용한 디자인 연구

        문양(紋樣)은 각 나라의 역사와 함께 장식성과 의미상징의 두 가지 기능을 가지고 있다. 특히, 한⋅중 전통적 요소에 있어서 가구에 사용되는 문양은 중요한 요소이자 양국의 귀중한 문화자산이다. 본 논문의 목적인 한 · 중 양국의 전통가구 문양의 상징적 의미를 활용한 디자인 연구를 통해 현대 가구 디자인에 있어 전통문양의 새로운 발전 방향과 응용 방안을 제시하고자 하였으며, 양국의 문화와 정서를 이해를 할 수 있는 기초적 자료를 제공하였다. 본 논문의 연구 범위는 한 · 중, 특히 14세기 말부터 20세기 초의 조선 시대와 중국 명 · 청시기 전통가구를 중심으로 전통문양의 조형적 측면과 상징적 의미에 대한 연구이다. 연구 방법으로 첫째, 전문서적, 논문, 인터넷 등 선행연구 자료의 조사, 검토, 비교 분석을 통하여 한 · 중 전통가구(傳統家具)와 문양에 대한 연구를 진행하였으며, 둘째, 문양의 소재와 문양의 상징적 의미 고찰을 통해 한 · 중 전통가구 문양의 공통점과 차이점을 비교 분석하였고, 셋째, 한 · 중 전통가구에 사용된 장식문양의 사례분석과 한 · 중 전통문양의 관련 이론연구를 중심으로 현대 가구 디자인에 있어 전통문양의 활용 방안에 대하여 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 조선 시대와 명 · 청시기 가구의 문양에 대하여 체계적으로 이해하고, 전통문양이 현대가구 디자인에 잘 융화되어, 전통문화의 소중한 문화재로써 전승되기를 기대한다. The pattern has two functions in addition to the history of each country: ornament and semantic symbol. In particular, patterns used in traditional furniture in Korea and Chinese traditional elements are important. It is a valuable cultural asset of both countries. The purpose of this paper is to present a new development direction and application of traditional patterns in contemporary furniture design through the study of design using the symbolic meaning of traditional furniture patterns in both Korea and China. To understand the culture and emotion of both countries To provide the basic data. The research scope of this thesis is the study on the formative aspect and symbolic meaning of traditional patterns in Korea and China, especially in the Joseon dynasty from the end of the 14th century to the beginning of the 20th century and the traditional Chinese furniture. First, research on traditional Korean furniture and patterns was conducted through researches, reviews, and comparative analyzes of previous research materials such as specialized books, papers, and the Internet. Second, the study of the symbolic meaning of materials and patterns in patterns Third, the analysis of the patterns of decorative patterns used in Korean and Chinese traditional furniture and the related theories of Korean and Chinese traditional patterns. The application of the pattern is suggested. Through this study, we will systematically understand the pattern of furniture of Joseon Dynasty and Ming & Qing Dynasties period furniture, and it is expected that traditional patterns will be well integrated into modern furniture design and handed down as a precious cultural property of traditional culture.

        임신시 침구 치료의 고전문헌 고찰

        Objectives: A safety issue on acupuncture and moxibustion treatment during pregnancy is as important as effectiveness. To establish a rationale and research strategy for future studies, a traditional literature review was performed to summarize how and for what conditions acupuncture and moxibustion treatment was given during pregnancy. Methods: An extensive traditional literature search for acupuncture and moxibustion treatment during pregnancy was conducted in texts on acupuncture and moxibustion, obstetrics and gynecology, and comprehensive medical texts. Treatment conditions, methods, and contraindications were summarized and tabulated. Results: Twenty-eight books were included in our review. Most frequent description of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment use during pregnancy was for difficult delivery including breech presentations; commonly used acupuncture points for difficult labor included LI4, SP6, BL67, BL60, KI6, ST30, SP12, LR4, LR3, PC6, CV3, CV14, KI13, and GB21, indicating that they may have to be avoided during pregnancy. Descriptions of other symptoms or conditions were sparse. For habitual abortion or recurrent miscarriage, moxibustion on GV4, BL23, CV3, KI8, and KI2 was indicated. A combination of LI4 and SP6, and CV4 were contraindicated during pregnancy consistently across the reviewed books. Conclusions: Our traditional literature review has shown that the use of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment during pregnancy has been limited. Given that more and more pregnant women are interested in safe and effective treatment, further research of acupuncture`s safety and efficacy during pregnancy is urgently needed.

      • The catalytic performance of Ni/MgSiO<sub>3</sub> catalyst for methane steam reforming in operation of direct internal reforming MCFC

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Active and tolerant Ni-based catalyst for methane steam reforming in direct internal reforming molten carbonate fuel cell (DIR-MCFC) was developed. Deactivation of reforming catalysts by alkali metals from electrolyte composed of Li<SUB>2</SUB>CO<SUB>3</SUB> and K<SUB>2</SUB>CO<SUB>3</SUB> is one of the major obstacles to be overcome in commercialization of DIR-MCFC. Newly developed Ni/MgSiO<SUB>3</SUB> reforming catalyst showed activities of ca. 82% methane conversion for 240min in out-of-cell test. In duration test, the unit cell containing Ni foam impregnated with Ni/MgSiO<SUB>3</SUB> in anode gas channel did not give performance degradation for more than 2000h, while the unit cell assembled with Ni/MgSiO<SUB>3</SUB>-coated anode showed a significant performance loss after an operation of 1200h. Results obtained from X-ray diffraction and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller technique revealed that Ni sintering and support deterioration were decisive factors in decreasing the catalytic activity.</P>

        Electrolyte effect on the catalytic performance of Ni-based catalysts for direct internal reforming molten carbonate fuel cell

        An active and tolerant Ni-based catalyst for methane steam reforming in direct internal reforming molten carbonate fuel cells (DIR-MCFCs) was developed. Deactivation of reforming catalysts by alkali metals from the electrolyte composed of Li<SUB>2</SUB>CO<SUB>3</SUB> and K<SUB>2</SUB>CO<SUB>3</SUB> is one of the major obstacles to be overcome in commercialization of DIR-MCFCs. Results obtained from temperature-programmed reduction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy identify unreduced Ni<SUP>3+</SUP> as a decisive factor in keeping catalytic activity from the electrolyte.

        Low-Temperature Carbon Coating of Nanosized Li<sub>1.015</sub>Al<sub>0.06</sub>Mn<sub>1.925</sub>O<sub>4</sub> and High-Density Electrode for High-Power Li-Ion Batteries

        <P>Despite their good intrinsic rate capability, nanosized spinel cathode materials cannot fulfill the requirement of high electrode density and volumetric energy density. Standard carbon coating cannot be applied on spinel materials due to the formation of oxygen defects during the high-temperature annealing process. To overcome these problems, here we present a composite material consisting of agglomerated nanosized primary particles and well-dispersed acid treated Super P carbon black powders, processed below 300 degrees C. In this structure, primary particles provide fast lithium ion diffusion in solid state due to nanosized diffusion distance. Furthermore, uniformly dispersed acid-treated Super P (ASP) in secondary particle facilitates lower charge transfer resistance and better percolation of electron. The ASPLMO material shows superior rate capability, delivering 101 mAh g 1 at 300 degrees C-rate at 24 degrees C, and 75 mAh g(-1) at 100 degrees C-rate at 10 degrees C. Even after 5000 cycles, 86 mAh ClIcan be achieved at 30 degrees C=rate at 24 degrees C, demonstrating very competitive full-cell performance.</P>

        Lipolysis Effect of Daucosterol Isolated from Mulberry (Morus alba) Leaves

        뽕나무는 약 40여 속과 1,000여 종이 있는 것으로 알려져 있으며, 항염증, 항진정, 지사작용, 노화억제 및 신경보호작용이 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 아시아 지역에서 전통 한약재로 사용되는 뽕 나무 잎의 지방분해 활성에 관여하고 있는 물질을 스크린하기 위하여 뽕잎 분말을 헥산, 에틸 아세테이트 및 메탄올로 순차 추출하였다. 뽕 잎의 EtOAc 추출물로부터 daucosterol이 순수분리 되었으며, 그 구조는 1H, 13C, DEPT, COSY, HSQC 및 HMBC 등의 NMR스펙트럼 분석에 의해 밝혀졌다. Daucosterol은 농도 의존적으로 지질분해 효과를 나타내었는데, 본 연구의 결과로부터 뽕나무 잎으로부터 순수분리한 daucosterol의 지분분해 활성은 다양한 질병을 치료하기 위한 천연물 소재 또는 지표성분으로서 활용이 가능할 것으로 생각된다. 그러나 보다 효율적으로 이용하기 위해서는 daucosterol의 비만에 관한 생리활성 기작에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것이다. Plants are reservoirs of naturally occurring chemical compounds and of structurally diverse bioactive molecules. The aim of this investigation was to screen for the presence of phytochemicals responsible for the lipolysis activity in mulberry (Morus alba) leaves, which are important in traditional Asian medicinal plants. Powdered mulberry leaves were extracted with hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol. Daucosterol was isolated from the EtOAc extract of mulberry leaves, and its structure was elucidated by NMR spectral analyses. The NMR assignments for the compound were determined using 1H, 13C, DEPT, COSY, HSQC, and HMBC NMR spectral data. Daucosterol showed a concentration-dependent lipolysis activity that may impart medicinal properties that can be exploited by medical practitioners for the treatment of various diseases. However, further studies should be conducted to elucidate additional mechanisms of daucosterol.

        Bortezomib과 Dexamthasone으로 치료한 골수외 형질세포종 4예

        Despite the use of aggressive local and systemic treatment including autologous stem cell transplantation in multiple myeloma, extramedullary recurrences are common and the prognosis of these patients is poor. Many novel drugs such as thalidomide, lenalidomide and bortezomib improve the response of treatment of multiple myeloma, but some reports failed to describe thalidomide has effect in extramedullary plasmacytoma. Recent data report on the successful treatment plasmacytomas with bortezomib in patients with advanced multiple myeloma. We treated 4 relapsed or refractory extramedullary plasmacytomas with bortezomib at our institution. We recognized all these extramedullary plasmacytomas decreased and showed more than partial response. This report lends support to the efficacy of bortezomib in the treatment of plasmacytoma and describes the safe use of bortezomib. Responses may, however, be of short duration. Therefore, despite our limited experience, we propose that bortezomib may be considered a therapeutic option for such patients who have risk of radiation therapy

      • Self-adaptive Si/reduced graphene oxide scrolls for high-performance Li-ion battery anodes

        <P>A Si/C composite with Si nanoparticles (nSi) uniformly dispersed in the interlayers of reduced graphene oxide scrolls (rGS) is successfully developed for high-performance Li-ion battery anodes. The rGS can deform reversibly with the repeated expansion/contraction of nSi to maintain contact between the nSi and the conductive rGS network, which can effectively buffer large volume changes and maintain continuous large-area core-shell electrical contact. Additionally, the continuous electrical network of rGS greatly enhances the electrical conductivity, and the open structures at the ends and sides of rGS provide paths for rapid diffusion of Li ions, thus enhancing the rate performance. By virtue of the rational design, the composite shows a high reversible specific capacity of 2030 mA h g(-1) at 0.2 A g(-1), high cycling stability of 1200 mA h g(-1) at 4 A g(-1) with 99.2% capacity retention after 200 cycles, and an excellent rate performance of 1000 mA h g(-1) even at 8 A g(-1).
