        분리막 공정과 LNG 냉열 및 심냉 증류를 이용한 전자급 고순도 이산화탄소의 분리

        In this paper, a new technology to obtain electronic grade, highly pure carbon dioxide by using membrane and liquefied natural gas (LNG) cold heat assisted cryogenic distillation has been proposed. PRO/II with PROVISION release 2023.1 from AVEVA company was used, and Peng-Robinson equation of the state model with Twu’s alpha function to predict pure component vapor pressure versus temperature more accurately was selected for the modeling of the membrane and cryogenic distillation process. Advantage of using membrane separation instead of selecting absorber-stripper configuration for the concentration of carbon dioxide was the reduction of carbon dioxide capture cost.

      • Greenhouse Management Framework based on Localization Using RGPSi and AoA

        In this paper, the concept of the smart greenhouse control framework is proposed with the help of localization algorithm. The proposed smart greenhouse framework consists of the data aggregator with the database, the environment control part and the crop growth status control part. The data aggregator has been equipped with the various sensors to measure the data for crop growth. The sensors have ability of communication and calculation of location of target. As a localization algorithm, RGPSi is used. RGPSi uses the iteration algorithm similar to the GPS algorithm, but utilize the ratio of signal strengths instead of absolute strengths. To improve the accuracy of the localization, the method of AOA(angle of arrival) of signal will be added. The environment control part has the role to generate the control signals for the greenhouse to operate properly for satisfying the goal. Information for the status of crop growth is generated from the growth control part. With the help of the goal function two parts will be interacting each other and have fed back the sensed data from the greenhouse.

        밀리미터파 근거리장 측정 및 불확도 분석

        자유공간에서 전파의 손실은 자유공간의 원거리장에서 성립하는 프리이스(Friis) 공식에 따라 송신안테나로부터 거리의 역제곱에 비례한다. 그러나 그 공식은 원거리장에서만 성립한다고 알려졌다. 근거리장인 리액티브 영역 및 프레즈넬 영역을 포함하여 원거리장에서 밀리미터파 대역인 20 GHz에서 90 GHz까지 송수신 안테나 사이의 삽입손실을 측정하였는데 안테나의 이격 거리를 최대 1.4 m로 1 mm씩 늘려가면서 데이터를 수집하였다. 그 데이터를 자유공간 전송 손실인 (λ/4 πr)² 비교하였으며 근거리장에서의 실험값 및 이론값의 불일치를 확인하였다. 이러한 불일치를 해결하기 위하여 근거리에서는 안테나 이득이 거리에 의존한다는 것을 가정하여 자유공간 전송 손실에 추가하는 공식을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 추가로 100 GHz를 측정하고 그 공식에 맞추어 이론값과 실험값을 피팅하였으며 근거리장의 프레즈넬 영역을 포함하여 리엑티브 영역 약 50 % 일부까지 측정 데이터와 잘 일치하는 것을 보였다. 측정 결과에 대한 불확도 분석으로서 안테나 시험장 환경에서 반사파의 영향에 의한 오차를 추정 분석하였고 측정 데이터와 새로운 공식을 피팅하는 과정에서 발생될 것이라 추정하는 오차 요인을 최소자승법에 따라 해석하여 전체 불확도를 산출하였다. Theoretical radio frequency attenuation in free space is characterized by the Friis equation in the far-field range. This equation states that free-space propagation of electromagnetic waves is inversely proportional to the square of their distance from the source. However, this holds true only in the far-field range. Accordingly, we investigate the propagation characteristics of millimeter waves in all field ranges. The study provides measurement results of free-space insertion loss from 20 to 90 GHz frequency ranges, where the separations between the transmitting and receiving antennas are increased from 1 to 1400 mm in 1-mm increments. The measurement distances cover all ranges, including the reactive and Fresnel ranges of the near field as well as far-field ranges. The measuring values are fitted in the free-space path loss factor (λ/4 πr)². Discrepancies exist between the theoretical and measured values in the near-field ranges. We add terms to the formula to resolve the differences in the near field. The calculated results derived from the new formula are shown to be in good agreement in the Fresnel range and in some parts of the 50% reactive range. This study yields the same results at 100-GHz measurements and provides an uncertainty analysis of insertion loss measurements for near and far fields in millimeter-wave ranges. These include the effects of the measurement site and errors in fitting the measurement data to a correction formula. The fitting uncertainty is evaluated using the least squares method.

      • Towards an Intelligent Livestock Farm Management using OWL-based Ontology Model

        In this paper, we have designed the ontology model to achieve a cost effective livestock farm environment by maintaining safety and quality. The proposed model is built with the situational context aware data by making use of the wireless sensor network (WSN). The concepts of the proposed model are identified after considering all the possibilities with respect to the control services that help to increase the productivity and automation in the livestock farm environment. The health and diet management along with the environmental services are considered as a main service, which is a deniable fact. In addition to these services, uprising and downsizing of stock prices can affect the management behavior in regard to the production services. In order to solve the issue, both the health and diet management plans are monitored and modified automatically with respect to the changes in the stock market. With the proposed ontology model, the information from Internet of Things (IoT) is recomposed as context information, which helps in the understanding of the relationship between the livestock environmental factors.
