A proposal for finding node addresses in the inter-vehicle communication protocol iFORP
Takuya NISHIMAKI,Koichi GYODA 대한전자공학회 2015 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2015 No.6
In general wireless ad hoc network protocol simulation, it is assumed that the source node already knows the IP address of the destination. However, in the actual inter-vehicle communication, it is difficult to know the IP address of the communication partner in advance because there exist an indefinite number of terminals. In this paper, we propose the additional mechanism for finding IP addresses of the nodes by exchanging modified HELLO packets in the network protocol iFORP. It is confirmed that this proposed mechanism work well from simulation results. To evaluate the performance of the protocol, data arrival rate, total amount of sent/received routing traffic, and data arrival delay are used. Simulation results of iFORP with the proposed mechanism show high data arrival rate and short delay although routing traffic increases.
A Study on the Portable Space Optical Communication System for Disaster Communications
Keiichi YANO,Yoshihisa TAKAYAMA,Hiroo KUNIMORI,Koichi GYODA 대한전자공학회 2015 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2015 No.6
An examination is made to simplify the existing optical transmitter and receiver for the realization of the portable space optical communication system. In the proposed system, a high-precision tracking mechanism of the receiver is reduced for the simplification. In addition, pointing is performed based on the GPS location information to reduce the optical beacons capture mechanism. Both irradiation angle error of atmospheric propagated laser and positioning error of GPS are executed, and the data transmission speed is derived from the estimated result of the diameter of the photodetector which can include these errors.
