In recent, as the application domain of information system becomes large, the project management concept is applied to not only the large-scale construction projects but also the development of an information system. Most of the ERP vendors release methodologies and software for project management. The success stories of applying the project management concept to the large-scale construction projects and development of an information system have been reported. However a case study for applying the project management technology to small-scale projects was not reported yet. This paper is intended to show the case study for applying the project management technology to small-scale project using the project management software, NeX-Pert.
The Study of Effectiveness in a Modified Rib Oblique Projection View Using a Chest Phantom

본 연구는 늑골의 사방향 검사 시 환자의 자세 변화가 아닌 X-선관의 수평 축방향 각도 변화를 적용하여 영상화 하였다. 인체 모형 팬텀을 이용하여 일반적인 늑골 사방향의 표준 검사 방법을 적용한 대조 영상과 중심 X-선을 팬텀의 수직 입사 방향으로부터 오른쪽 수평 축 방향으로 5° 간격으로 5°부터 30°까지 6단계의 입사각도 변화를 적용한 변형 사방향 실험 영상을 획득하였다. 영상의 정량적 비교 평가를 위해 대조 영상을 기준으로 실험 영상의 관심 영역 별 SNR과 CNR을 계산하였다. 또한 대조 영상의 좌·우 늑골 비율과 실험 영상의 X-선 입사각도 별 좌·우 늑골 비율을 측정하여 비교하였다. 실험 결과, 25°의 X-선 입사 각도를 적용한 실험 영상이 표준 검사 방법을 적용한 대조 영상과 비교하였을 때 SNR과 CNR, 좌·우 늑골 비율의 측정값에서 가장 근사한 값을 나타내었다. 변형 늑골 사방향 검사는 환자의 검사 자세 유지가 어려울 경우 적용할 수 있는 늑골 사방향 검사 방법으로 유용할 것이라 생각된다. This study is filmed by applying the axial angle variation of the X-ray tube instead of the patient’s position change during the perimetric examination of the ribs. A Reference image with the rib oblique examination using a chest phantom and experimental images applied with a six-phase variation in the axial angle by increasing 5° tube angle each from 5°~30° from the vertical incident direction of the chest phantom to the right horizontal axis were obtained. For the quantitative comparative evaluation of the images, SNR and CNR were calculated for regions of interest in the experimental images based on the reference image. Also, the left-right rib ratio in the reference image and the left-right rib ratio in the experimental images are measured and compared. As a result of the study, the experimental images with a tube angle of 25° were best shown in the measurements of the SNR, CNR and left-right rib ratio compared to the reference image with a standard examination method. The modified rib examinations will consider useful, if it is difficult to maintain the patient’s examination position.

Gallbladder wall thickening in patients with acute hepatitis

<B>Background.</B><P>Gallbladder wall thickening (GWT) is often observed in patients with acute hepatitis (AH). However, little is known regarding the relationship between AH and GWT. We analyzed the characteristics of GWT in patients with AH.</P><B>Method.</B><P>Between April 2002 and April 2007, 232 patients with AH underwent a sonographic examination. The clinical and laboratory findings of patients with GWT were evaluated and compared with patients without GWT. Data were recorded for the following variables: gender, age, laboratory findings, duration of symptom, presence of gallstone, and etiology of GWT.</P><B>Results.</B><P>A total of 147 (63%) patients with AH had GWT. GWT in patients with an alanine aminotransferase level more than 500 IU/l (5.2 ± 3.4 mm) was greater than that in other patients (3.9 ± 2.3 mm; p < 0.05). Hepatitis A virus infection (odds ratio = 3.17 [1.42–7.09]), female gender (odds ratio = 2.47 [1.34–4.56]), and an elevated total bilirubin level (odds ratio = 1.09 [1.03–1.15]) were positively associated with GWT.</P><B>Conclusion.</B><P>The incidence of GWT in patients with AH was 63%, and there was an association with hepatitis A virus infection, female gender, and an elevated total bilirubin level. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, the relaxation behavior of the regenerated silk fibroin (SF) films was investigated using dielectric thermal analysis (DETA), and compared with the dynamic mechanical behavior obtained from dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA), in order to gain a better understanding of the characteristics of dielectric behavior of SF film and identify the differences between the two analyses. Compared to DMTA, DETA exhibited a higher sensitivity on the molecular relaxation behaviors at low temperature ranges that showed a high $\gamma$-relaxation peak intensity without noise. However, it was not effective to examine the relaxation behaviors at high temperatures such as $\alpha-$ and ${\alpha}_c$-relaxations that showed a shoulder peak shape. On the contrary, DMTA provided more information regarding the relaxation behaviors at high temperatures, by exhibiting the changes in width, intensity and temperature shift of the $\alpha$-relaxation peak according to various crystallinities. Conclusively, DETA and DMTA can be utilized in a complementary manner to study the relaxation behavior of SF over a wide temperature range, due to the different sensitivity of each technique at different temperatures.
