No sttempt has ever been made in this kind of study on the teaching of the subject of Korean Language. The linguistic ability of Korean Language differs from child to child, for the hereditary, phgisiological condition, posterior circumstances, experiences, personality, aptitude and mental tendency differ. For a reasonable implementation of the teaching of Korean Language Subject, grasping the individual difference of linguistic ability is topreceded. Then, lesson plans, teaching materials and process to correct any defect in the ability are to be devised. The result of the study comes from an attempt toward the modernization of Korean Language teaching, but has many problems to be solved in the future.

The writing education, what is called a part of the national Language education, is generally being misunderstood as literary works. Thus, my searching attempt is making general person get through the misunderstand about such a writing in elementary school, and so to make clear that the writing education is the expression of the desire of children's internal emotions with the use of writing systems, and my searching practice takes almost processes of elementary school for a kind of curriculum of writing education. So I classify this process into three parts: i.e. at the first, atempting period, second, figuring period, and finally analogizing period. And then, I want to make clear the ability of sentence expression, which falles on each period basing on every school grade and again, bases on each characterisitics of them, attempted to search the needed guidance method. This thesis is atempting to gain the better conclusion as far as possible using the descriptive researchi method. My theory of education cames from American books and Japanese. Now as a conculusion several facts can be pointed as follows: At first, the first grade of attempting period is used to direct only simple sentence, based on usual illustration and verbal composition, which is arrangig similar letters and word related with them. And hare, it is important for this directions to clear the subject and the predicate particularly. And second grade is used, chiefly on sentence, to direct the illustration and to express the view point of his own se1f, beside them, in the evolution of sentence to matter the order of sentence and the expression of compound sentence. Second, the third grade of figuring period is used for not only formation of works' comprehension about purpose of expression, and essentiality in delineation, also for the directions of unification which is apt to be forgotten, as the sentence goes on. And in the forth grade to be used ford istinguish between his own works' explain and conversation and to use them effectively and have to also be used to direct the complehension for works' paragraph, material synthesis. And finally, the analogizing period at the fifth grade is used not only for the unification throughout the sentence, partial expression of the works' paragraph, also synthesis ability from the concret to the abstract and improvement followed by making-up and modification. At last, in sixth grad, once the subject improves for higher step the estimation for Adjective facts and various technique followed by sentence modification, individuality display and so on, is mattering.

The aim of this thesis is. to study 2700 pieces of the secret language collected from collegians. The collegian secret language is characteristic of secrecy, taboo, novelty, the desire to break stereotype, humorousness, ostentation, and simplicity. It consists of neologism, popular tongue, vulgarism, slang, and abbreviation. It is also fresh and refined, and much of it has resulted from the knowledge and culture of high level. Besides, the secret language concerning smoking, drinking, speculative games, hetrosexual group meeting, date, festival, part-time job, and examination is productive.

In recent application of volute pumps in industries, since the performance requirements vary widely depending on the application situation, the design point spans across the whole range of specific speed for the centrifugal type machine. Therefore it is necessary to make a volute pump design program capable of handling that various design points. In most recent optimum design codes for turbomachinery, the gradient method has been commonly used. However, since the range of design point is relatively wide, the non-linearity of the design variables often fails to produce the true optimum design. In this study a search method for the volute design is suggested in order to overcome the non-linearity of the variables. This method improves the convergence of the design program by confining the initial condition of the design variables using the random search method. Based on the search method, a user-friendly complete design program for volute pump has been developed.

한국과 영국 문학에 반영된 정치 지도자의 유형

Since historical literature deals with questions concerning who rules and how as an essential part of the political development, political rulership is a major thematic element in both British Renaissance (especially Shakespeare's) historical plays and Korean historical novels. Historical plays and novels are essentially homiletic, and at the same time they are an elaborate discourse on the duties of rulership. In the governing ability of kings and political leaders lie the causes of political success and failure, of the prosperity and decline of the State, and of the stability and disorder of the State. Some of the kings are inconsistent and earn people's disappointment; some are pleasure-loving and earn people's displeasure and even contempt; and some are immature and inexperienced and earn people's discontentment mixed with sympathy. In the complex web of political games, there arises the tension between the inviolability of the king's position and desirability of deposing a bad king. On one hand there is a strong view that no subject has the right to depose the king since he is anointed by God (the divine right of the king). On the other hand there is a view that although the king may be God's anointed, a bad king deserves to be deposed because the country is greater than the king. Edward VI who sincerely tries to govern well, using Christian virtues becomes a helpless victim in the political power structure, for he is no match for the treacherous tactics of those around him. The king who is successful is the one that puts deceit and ruthlessness, that is, Machiavellian tactics before his Christianity. Politically crafty princes, while paying a lip service to the Christ ian virtues, use far craftier Machiavellian methods to create a popularimage and to force others subtly into obeying. That is to sat-, the only alternative is to apply a Machiavellian view of leadership for the political world. The best way for the prince to secure power and govern people is to imitate $quot;the lion and the fox$quot; as subtly as he can. In short, Mfachiavellianism plays animportant part in the historical plays and novles. This paper examines various types of political leaders in both British Renaissance historical plays and Korean historical noels written after 1930.

SPIHT Image Compression Using Biorthogonal Multiwavelets on [-1,1]

This paper presents a SPIHT image compression method using biorthogonal multi wavelets on [-1,1]. A family of biorthogonal scaling vectors is constructed using fractal interpolation function, and the associated biorthogonal multi wavelets are constructed. This paper uses biorthogonal multi wavelets to be supported in [-1,1] associated with biorthogonal scaling vectors to be supported in [-1,1]. The scaling vectors and wavelets remain biorthogonal when restricted to integer intervals, making them well suited for bounded domains. The experiment results of simulation of the proposed image compression using biorthogonal multiwavelets on [-1,1] based on SPIHT were found to be excellent PSNR for LENA and PEPPERS images except for BABOON image than already existing single wavelets and DGHM multi wavelets.

소설작품에서의 상징적 모티프

A literary work (novel) reflects not only individual author's originality but also the vision of collective life. Therefore, the archetypal symbols in a literary rork, transcending time and place, can be found in other works. And so, the symbolic motifs in a literary work have universal as well as individual aspects. The analysis of a literary work itself reveals the symbolic motifs, which play an important role in grasping the whole structure and characteristics of the work. This paper is to analyze the symbolic motifs in $lt;The Flame, 불꽃$gt; which was intended to overcome the contemporary tragic situations of the late 1950's. The analysis shows that 'cave' is an essential symbolic motif to grasp the wholeness of $lt;The Flame. 불꽃$gt; The `cave' image as a symbolic motif is the same image as `womb' or `sacred ground' which are archetypal images. And this motif is an element that makes the cyclical structure of 'death and rebirth' and `repetition of archetype' possible. The cave as a symbolic motif in $lt;The Flame$gt;, plays a decisive role to transform the hero into a new human type.
