Tourist Transition Model among Tourist Attractions based on GPS Trajectory
Kasahara, Hidekazu,Watabe, Takeshi,Iiyama, Masaaki Smart Tourism Research Center 2021 Journal of smart tourism Vol.1 No.2
Before COVID-19, tourist destinations have experienced problems with congestion of both famous tourist attractions and public transportation. Over-tourism is not an issue at this time, but it is likely to rekindle after the COVID-19 pandemic ends. One method of mitigating over-tourism is to estimate tourist behavior using a tourist transition model and consequently adjust public transportation operations. In this study, we propose a construction method for a model of tourist transitions among tourist attractions based on tourist GPS trajectory data. We construct tourist transition models using actual trajectory data for tourists staying in the vicinity of Kyoto City. The results verify the model performance.
Electron heating experiment using the high harmonic fast wave on LHD
hiroshi Kasahara,K. Saito,N. Takeuchi,R. Kumazawa,T. Seki,T. Mutoh,T. Oosako,Y. Takase 한국물리학회 2006 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.49 No.III
Electron heating experiments using the High Harmonic Fast Wave (HHFW) were performed on the Large Helical Device (LHD). An electron temperature increase from 2.5 keV to 3.6 keV by 1.2 MW of HHFW was observed when both ECH and NBI were used to create a target plasma with high stored energy and electron temperature. When ECH works effectively, the electron density is pumped out, but the rate of decrease of the electron density is reduced when HHFW heating is applied. This result indicates that HHFW is absorbed effectively when the central electron temperature and electron beta are high enough, and suggests that parallel heating of electrons by HHFW reduces electron density pump out caused by perpendicular electron heating by ECH. According to a 1-D calculation, raising the density is more effective for improving singlepass damping than raising the temperature. According to a 2-D full-wave calculation, electron damping occurs in an off-axis region at low density, but wave fields become more concentrated in the core and absorption becomes more centrally localized at high density.e
Vehicle Braking Control Using Sliding Mode Control
Misawa Kasahara,Yuki Kanai,Yasuchika Mori 제어로봇시스템학회 2009 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2009 No.8
In recent years, anti-lock brake system and brake-by-wire are proposed in the vehicle control using a brake, and the braking power is expected to be improved more than ever. The researches such as an application to the ABS of Siliding mode control which considered a actuator dynamics [1] and a hybrid control of the brake using model reference adaptive control [2] are done so far. However, in the former case, speed following that be comes a target exists physically impossible situation by saturation of tire frictional force because only speed following is one. In the latter, the model error is caused because the simulation model and the controller design model are different. There fore, there is a problem that an accurate follow can not be done. In this paper, the braking control is performed using the sliding mode control [3] which has high robustness for disturbance that fulfils matching conditions. In so doing, it aims attheachievement of optimal braking control to switch wheel speed following to slip rati o following.

The purpose of this research is to clarify the relationship between playing in nature and paintings in terms of experience in early childhood care and education. Nature has a meaning| the whole environment as natural phenomena and the ecology learn through living as playing. The place of interaction between child and nature is "a sphere of playing in life" (Nakagaki,1989,p.24)| it is nature for the child. Playing and life with nature has an importance for early childhood. However, after the Great East Japan Earthquake, we are faced with the reconsidering of experiences in nature. Kai(2014)points out that insufficiency of cultural viewpoints on scientific cognition, and ethics of the mind on nature of an enterprise and citizen in Japan. He asks for the necessity to think of an environment as an ecosphere. Rethinking an experience in nature in early childhood education has a possibility to create new relationships between human and nature on a fundamental level.
