자연 방사선 피폭선량 중 우주선 전리 성분의 기여를 정량하기 위하여 LiF TLD를 이용하여 약 1년반에 걸쳐 3개월 간격의 주기적 측정을 수행하였다. TLD는 세가지를 사용하였는데 그것은 칩과 PTFE원판형으로 된 두 가지의 ?LiF와 중성자 성분의 기여를 가려내기 위한 원판형의 ?LiF였다. 선량측정은 뱃지에 넣은 TLD를 충남대학교 대덕 캠퍼스의 한4층콘크리트 건물내 3층의 한 연구실에 설치한 10-15㎝ 두꼐의 납차폐 상자에 넣어서 90일 간격으로 다섯 주기 동안 수행하였다. 비교 연구를 위하여 3"Φ×3" 원통형NaI(T1) 섬광 검출기와 1024채널 MCA를 이용하여 3MeV 이상의 우주선 경성분에 대한 분광분석을 병행하였는데 그 결과 옥내 차폐체를 이용한 TLD측정치는 옥외 우주선 전리 성분의 약 75%를 측정하고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 이와 같은 차폐 손실을 보정한 TLD측정 결과에 의하면 충남대 대덕 캠퍼스 옥외에서 우주선 전리 성분의 기여는 34.3±1.1nGy-h¹로 나타났는데 이것은 이 측정 지점에서 예측할 수 있었던 선량 값과 매우 잘 일치하는 것이다. In order to quantify the contribution of cosmic-ray ionizing component to the dose given by natural background radiation, a series of measurement has been carried out using LiF TLDs for about one and a half years on quaterly basis. Three different types of LiF TLDs namely, chips and PTFE based disks of ?LiF, and the same disks of ?LiF for identifying possible contribution of neutron component were used. Measurements were made by placing badge-incased TLDs in a lead castle of 10 to 15㎝ thick installed in a room n the third floor of a four-story building in CNU Daedeok campus for 5 cycles of 90 days. For comparison a series of spectrometric study was also performed for the energy region over 3 MeV using a 3"Φ×3"NaI(T1) scintillation detector in association with an MCA of 1024 channels, and it was found that the data obtained by the TLDs placed in the lead castle indicate 75% of the dose given by outdoor cosmicray component. The results obtained by the TLDs through correction for shielding loss show that the outdoor dose contribution of ionizing component of cosmic rays at this campus is 34.3±1.1nGy/h which satisfactorily agrees with that expected for our particular location of measurement.
Vision-based Autonomous Indoor Valet Parking System

This paper briefly introduces our on-going research on in-door autonomous valet parking (AVP) using only camera vision sensors. The AVP consists of autonomous driving and parking. Autonomous driving utilizes waypoints given by an array of ceiling LEDs to develop a driving path for ultimate waypoint tracking. The LEDs are detected by a top-front-view camera mounted on the vehicles windshield. Autonomous parking utilizes parking stripes to detect parking vehicles pose with respect to the target parking spot. The parking spot is detected by a rear-view camera mounted on the vehicles rear window. A clothoid parking path is generated with surround obstacles being considered to complete autonomous parking. The AVP research is already showing some prospective results. Some experimental results of waypoint and parking spot detections are presented, together with some simulation results of path planning and control.
Multirate Lane-Keeping System With Kinematic Vehicle Model

<P>In this paper, a novel multirate lane-keeping system (LKS) is introduced by using a kinematic-based model considering a look-ahead distance. First, we developed a kinematic lateral motion model for LKS with respect to the road. To increase a system damping of vehicle, the unique look-ahead output measurement matrix was introduced. The decentralized multirate lane-keeping control scheme with a multirate Kalman filter was also applied to resolve the asynchronous and irregular sampling time of multi sensors in autonomous vehicles. We validated the performance of the proposed kinematic-based multirate LKS using the dynamic vehicle solver CarSim, MATLAB/Simulink, and electric power steering hardware-in-the-loop system. Experimental validation was also conducted using a real test vehicle. Both simulation and experimental results showed that the proposed kinematic-based LKS performed lane-keeping capability comparable to that of dynamic-based LKS. In particular, the experimental results showed that the proposed method, compared to a human driver, can also maintain the lane within reasonable specifications. The experimental validation was performed at vehicle speeds of up to 120 km/h.</P>
Record High Hole Mobility in Polymer Semiconductors via Side-Chain Engineering

<P>Charge carrier mobility is still the most challenging issue that should be overcome to realize everyday organic electronics in the near future. In this Communication, we show that introducing smart side-chain engineering to polymer semiconductors can facilitate intermolecular electronic communication. Two new polymers, P-29-DPPDBTE and P-29-DPPDTSE, which consist of a highly conductive diketopyrrolopyrrole backbone and an extended branching-position-adjusted side chain, showed unprecedented record high hole mobility of 12 cm<SUP>2</SUP>/(V·s). From photophysical and structural studies, we found that moving the branching position of the side chain away from the backbone of these polymers resulted in increased intermolecular interactions with extremely short π–π stacking distances, without compromising solubility of the polymers. <P><B>A new polymeric semiconductor, PDPPDTSE,</B> is reported which is composed of a diketopyrrolopyrrole moiety and selenophenylene vinylene selenophene, with a high field‐effect mobility achieved through intermolecular donor–acceptor interactions. The field‐effect mobility of OFET devices based on PDPPDTSE by spin‐casting is 4.97 cm<SUP>2</SUP> V<SUP>−1</SUP> s<SUP>−1</SUP>, which is higher than predecessor polymeric semiconductors.</P>
On-Road Path Generation and Control for Waypoints Tracking

<P>This article addresses path generation and predictive control for waypoints tracking. By considering irregularity of waypoints given by the leading vehicle, the waypoints-following vehicle is made to track a clothoid path that assures safe and comfortable driving while keeping track of the waypoints in the least squares sense. In the generation of such a clothoid path, the path generation scheme utilized the clothoidal constraint and weighted least squares curve fitting. Predictive control is applied to improve path tracking performance over horizon, with constraints on steering and its rate being considered for safe and comfortable steering. A computational experiment, utilizing a set of leading vehicle generated waypoints on a highway, is conducted to demonstrate utility of the path generation and predictive control scheme.</P>

This study was made to analysis of taste compounds in extracts which may participate in flavor and taste, in dried Prawn. Penacus japonicus. The changes of such compounds during sun during as free amino acids were analyzed. The results are summarized as follows : Among the free amino acids analyzed, glycine, arginine, proline, taurine and alanine were found in large amounts in the raw extracts, the amount of valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine and tyrosine were low. The free amino acids were not changed in composition but the decrease of total free amino acid was approximately 588 mg% during sun during. In sun dried prawn, glycine, arginine, taurine, proline and alanine were abundant too.
