본 논문에서는 정수의 인수분해법을 Eratosthenes의 sieve의 성질을 이용하여 개선한 방법과 또 N이 솟수인 합동식 a^N-1≡1(mod N)을 이용하여 솟수검정에 필요한 두 개의 정리를 증명하였다. In this paper we obtain an improved Factoring method using the elementary identities and the property of Sieve of Eratosthenes. From this method and the congruence a^N-1≡1(mod N) for prime N, we prove two theorems for primality test.

<P>Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) have been widely investigated as a hyperthermic agent for cancer treatment. In this study, thermally responsive Chitosan-coated MnFe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> (Chitosan-MnFe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB>) nanoparticles were developed to conduct localized magnetic hyperthermia for cancer treatment. Hydrophobic MnFe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> nanoparticles were synthesized via thermal decomposition and modified with 2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA) for further conjugation of chitosan. Chitosan-MnFe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> nanoparticles exhibited high magnetization and excellent biocompatibility along with low cell cytotoxicity. During magnetic hyperthermia treatment (MHT) with Chitosan-MnFe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> on MDA-MB 231 cancer cells, the targeted therapeutic temperature was achieved by directly controlling the strength of the external AC magnetic fields. <I>In vitro</I> Chitosan-MnFe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB>-assisted MHT at 42 °C led to drastic and irreversible changes in cell morphology and eventual cellular death in association with the induction of apoptosis through heat dissipation from the excited magnetic nanoparticles. Therefore, the Chitosan-MnFe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> nanoparticles with high biocompatibility and thermal capability can be an effective nano-mediated agent for MHT on cancer.</P>

대수적 수의 집합인 이차체에 관한 연구로, 복수체의 부분체인 이차체의 성질을 제곱수를 인수로 갖지 않는 1이 아닌 양의 정수 d의 분류에 따라 고찰해보았으며 특히 이차체의 정수들로 이루어진 환의 아이디알에 대한 인수 정리의 유일성을 증명하였다. 또한 이차체의 이론이 이차 Diophantine 방정식 ax^2+bxy+cy^2=t에 이용됨을 보였다. The Quadratic fields of algebraic numbers are subfields of C generated by Q and √d, where d is some square-free integer. We shall prove the Unique Factorization Theorem for the ideals of the ring of integers in the Quadratic fields, and also show the theory of Quadratic fields can be applied to solving general quadratic Diophantine equation ax^2+bxy+cy^2=t.
PAGAN II: THE EVOLUTION OF AGN JETS ON SUB-PARSEC SCALES

We report first results from KVN and VERA Array (KaVA) VLBI observations obtained in the frame of our Plasma-physics of Active Galactic Nuclei (PAGaN) project. We observed eight selected AGN at 22 and 43 GHz in single polarization (LCP) between March 2014 and April 2015. Each source was observed for 6 to 8 hours per observing run to maximize the uv coverage. We obtained a total of 15 deep high-resolution images permitting the identification of individual circular Gaussian jet components and three spectral index maps of BL Lac, 3C 111 and 3C 345 from simultaneous dual-frequency observations. The spectral index maps show trends in agreement with general expectations – flat core and steep jets – while the actual value of the spectral index for jets shows indications for a dependence on AGN type. We analyzed the kinematics of jet components of BL Lac and 3C 111, detecting superluminal proper motions with maximum apparent speeds of about 5c. This constrains the lower limits of the intrinsic component velocities to ~ 0.98c and the upper limits of the angle between jet and line of sight to ~20°. In agreement with global jet expansion, jet components show systematically larger diameters d at larger core distances r, following the global relation d ≈ 0.2r, albeit within substantial scatter.

<P>Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) are often the subject of investigation as effective photothermal therapy (PTT) agents owing to their unique strong optical absorption. Doxorubicin (DOX)-loaded SWNTs (SWNTs-DOX) can be used as an efficient therapeutic agent for combined near infrared (NIR) cancer photothermal and chemotherapy. However, SWNTs-DOX-mediated induction of cancer cell death has not been fully investigated, particularly the reaction of DOX inside cancer cells by PTT. In this study, we examined how the SWNTs-DOX promoted effective MDA-MB-231 cell death compared to DOX and PTT alone. We successfully synthesized the SWNTs-DOX. The SWNTs-DOX exhibited a slow DOX release, which was accelerated by NIR irradiation. Furthermore, DOX released from the SWNTs-DOX accumulated inside the cells at high concentration and effectively localized into the MDA-MB-231 cell nucleus. A combination of SWNTs-DOX and PTT promoted an effective MDA-MB-231 cell death by mitochondrial disruption and ROS generation. Thus, SWNTs-DOX can be utilized as an excellent anticancer agent for early breast cancer treatment.</P>

본 논문에서는 홀수이며 비 제곱수 N의 인수분해 N=uv(u>v>1)와 N=(X+Y)(X-Y), X,Y>0 사이의 1-1 대응이 존재한다는 사실을 이용하여 거대정수의 인수분해법을 소개하였다. 또 Fermat의 인수분해법을 Eratosthenes의 Sieve의 성질을 이용하여 효율적으로 개선한 과정을 보였다. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a method of factoring using fact that there is a 1-1 correspondence between factorizations N=uv(u>v>1) of the odd non-square integer N and the representation N=x^2-y^2=(X-Y)(X+Y), with X,Y>0. In the present paper we obtain an improved Fermat's factoring process using the elementary identities and the property of Sieve of Eratosthense.
