The ν_6 band of the ethane gas molecule was theoretically synthesized. The intensity and the frequency of each rotational line were computed with VAX-11 computer. The theoretically synthesized spectrum was compared with the experimentally obtained spectrum, which was taken through FT-IR spectrophotometer MX-3600. The R and P branches of the ν_6 band contour of the ethane gas molecule were different from the regular symmetrie top molecule and rather similar to the linear molecules as if there were no K dependence. The absorbance of the P-branch spectrum was overlapped by the unknown branches of the neighbour bands The intensities and frequencies of the unknown lines were not indentified. The overall band contour of the observed spectrum was quite well coincided with the theoretical spectrum except the P-branch.

This paper introduces twonew language concepts: freezing andmelting of variables in terms. Accordingly, system predicats naving the freezing and melting capabilities, i.e., those for input-output and D/B handling, are revised and made more basic. This revision of primitives increases Prolog's ability to handle variables, hence clauses as data objects.

This paper presents a method to design pseudo decentralized load frequency control(LFC) based on digital controllers which improves dynamic responses in multi-area power systems by incorporating computational time delay. Assuming that the amplitude of the load fluctuation is small and invariant, behavior of the power system in expressed by a set of linear differential equation, with constant coefficients. First, in order to synthesize a sampled date controller, the system is digitalized at appropriate sampling period by using numerical approximation method. Next, the centralized control gains incorporating time delay are determined based on the optimal theory. In order to damp a constant disturbance, we make use to digital servo system having one controller delay. From the point of view of application to LFC problem, the area control error (ACE) is chosen as output variables of servo system.

Objectives : The purpose of this report was to introduce 3 cases of patients diagnosed with both medial collateral ligament tear and meniscal tear that showed clinical improvement after Korean medicine treatment. Methods : These patients received Korean herbal medicine, pharmacopuncture treatment, and acupuncture treatment. We assessed these cases by using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), Western Ontario and McMaster Universities’Arthritis Index (WOMAC), and the European Quality of Life-5 Dimension Index (EQ-5D). Results : After Korean medicine treatment, most of the NRS, WOMAC, and EQ-5D scores showed improvement on every discharge date of these 3 cases. The NRS and WOMAC scores of all cases showed a decrease. The EQ-5D of all cases showed an increase. Conclusions : Through this research, we concluded that Korean medicine treatment can be helpful in relieving pain and improving the quality of life and function of knee joint movement in patients with medial collateral ligament tear and meniscal tears.
Vibrational Rotational Band Contour of Nitrogen Dioxide

본 연구는 비대칭 팽이분자 NO_2의 고분해 진동-회전 스펙트럼를 ν_3를 이론식으로 합성하고, F_T-IR분광기를 이용하여 얻은 스펙트럼과 비교 연구하였다. 계산에 사용된 유효회전상수와 비조화진동상수는 이전의 논문들을 참고하였다. ν_3 스펙트럼의 진동수는 군론으로부터 계산된 진동수와 비조화진동상수들을 사용하여 계산하였다. 또한 흡수강도의 계산에서, 핵스핀의 영향이 각 K_1 준위의 통계적 비중에 대해 반영됐다. 최종적으로 각 K_1 값에 따른 부띠들을 중첩시켜 전체 띠를 나타냈다.
A Study on the High Resolution Infrared Spectra of an Asymmetric Top Molecule $CF_2Cl_2$

The high resolution IR spectra of freon-12($CF_2Cl_2$) for the bands of 671cm$^{-1},\;922cm^{-1},\;1102cm^{-1},\;and\;1160cm^{-1}$ were taken and the rotational vibrational analysis has been carried out. The band types of $671cm^{-1}\;and\;1102cm^{-1}$ were confirmed to be A and those of $922cm^{-1}\;and\;1160cm^{-1}$ were confirmed to be B. The theoretically synthesized spectra were matched with the experimentally obtained spectra to get some informations of the molecular rotational behavior as well as the overall band shape of the spectra.
Vibration-Rotation Band Contour of Nitrous Oxide

본 연구는 선형분자 N₂O의 ν₁를 이론적으로 합성하고 FT-IR분광기를 이용하여 얻은 스펙트럼과 비교 연구하였다. 스펙트럼을 이론적으로 합성하기 위하여 그 세기와 진동수를 컴퓨터를 이용하여 계산하였다. 합성한 스펙트럼은 J양자수 0부터 49까지를 합하여 도식화하였으며 그 스펙트럼은 P가지와 R가지로 구성되어졌다. 합성한 스펙트럼에서 P가지의 최대 세기는 J=15일때 1271.967㎝^-1에서 R가지의 최대 세기는 J=15일때 1297.837㎝^-1에서 볼 수 있었다. 이론적으로 합성한 스펙트럼은 실험적으로 구한 스펙트럼과 좋은 일치를 보였다.
