        Preparation and Characterization of Surface Modified PPTA Fibers by Ultrasonic-Assisted Hydrogen Peroxide Solutions

        The simplest peroxide, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) was used to prepare the surface modified poly(p-phenyleneterephthalaramide) (PPTA) fibers under the assistant of ultrasonic vibration. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)spectra indicated the increase of the active polar groups on the surface of the fibers. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)analysis confirmed that more carboxyl groups and hydroxyl groups have been obtained after this treatment. Scanning electronmicroscope (SEM) showed that the surface roughness of the fibers has been improved accordingly. The interfacial propertiesof modified PPTA fiber/epoxy composites were investigated by the single fiber pull-out test (SFP). The results showed thatthe interfacial shear strength (IFSS) of PPTA/epoxy composites was remarkably improved by 42.14 % while the breakingstrength was not affected appreciably. The modified fiber presented 26.9 % higher moisture regain compared with theoriginal fiber. It proved to be an efficient method to make the surface modified PPTA fiber for the application of the advancedcomposites at a relatively low cost.

        临时动量词的语义和句法初步分析

        Some nouns can be used as temporary verbal classifiers in Mandarin Chinese, to measure action which the relevant verb expressed. A numeral preceding a temporary verbal classifier constitutes a numeral classifier phrase, a numeral classifier phrase and a verb can combine a syntagme named a verbal classifier phrase. Viewing from meaning of temporary verbal classifier and its part of speech, this paper analyzed its semantic features and semantic relation between it and the verb, explored the relationships on the syntax and semantics among internal components when it constitutes a verbal classifier phrase. 汉语部分名词可以临时用作动量词,以对相关动词表示的动作进行度量。临时动量词前 加数词构成数量短语,数量短语和动词组合构成动量短语。本文从临时动量词自身的词义和 词性出发,分析其语义特征及与动词的语义联系,探讨它构成动量短语时内部构成成分间的 句法语义关系。

        Sensing behavior of Cu‑embedded C3N monolayer upon dissolved gases in transformer oil: a first‑principles study

        Using first-principles theory, this work investigated the Cu-doping behavior on the N-vacancy of the C3N monolayer and simulated the adsorption performance of Cu-doped C3N (Cu–C3N) monolayer upon two dissolved gases ( H2 and C2H2). The calculations meant to explore novel candidate for sensing application in the field of electrical engineering evaluating the operation status of the transformers. Our results indicated that the Cu dopant could be stably anchored on the N- vacancy with the Eb of ? 3.65 eV and caused a magnetic moment of 1 μB. The Cu–C3N monolayer has stronger performance upon C2H2 adsorption than H2 give the larger Ead, QT and change in electronic behavior. The frontier molecular orbital (FMO) theory indicates that Cu–C3N monolayer has the potential to be applied as a resistance-type sensor for detection of such two gases, while the work function analysis evidences its potential as a field-effect transistor sensor as well. Our work can bring beneficial information for exploration of novel sensing material to be applied in the field of electrical engineering, and provide guidance to explore novel nano-sensors in many fields.

        A Novel Self-Healing Polyurethane with High Transparency and Strength: Effects of Multiple Supermolecular Forces

        It is a considerable challenge for expanding the applications of self-healing polyurethane because of the dilemma in balancing its mechanical and self-healing properties. Herein, a series of self-healing polyurethane systems (PUT-x) with short-range ordered rigid aromatic structures were synthesized by simply adjusting two kinds of diisocyanates, and by ingenious addition of aromatic chain extender. We hope to regulate the π-π interactions and further to manipulate the properties of obtained polyurethanes via adjusting the amount of the benzene rings in the molecular chains of the PUT-x systems. The PUT-5 with decent self-healing ability, optimal mechanical properties, acceptable thermal stability and favorable transparency was selected to incorporate liquid metal and fluorescent powder to fabricate conductive wire and anti-counterfeiting film. Significantly, the liquid metal could be recycled from the conductive wire conveniently without using strong acids or strong bases. Moreover, PUT-5 exemplarily withstood long-term soaking in normal saline, and no deformation could be identified.
